Chapter Ten
Akaos and Warden both wrapped their arms around her, enclosing her in their protective shield with their bodies. Each of them kissed her on the top of her head.
“Thank you, wrap your arms around me and don’t let go. You’ll feel very light and you’ll see colors of all kinds and hear a high pitch hum, but it is nothing to be worried about,” Akaos said.
“I’m not worried as long as you are with me,” Maya tried to believe her words, but she was terrified.
“Little Cat, never lie to me. I can feel you shaking, but you’ll be fine,” Akaos slapped the side of her hip, but before she could do anything, the ground under her dissolved.
“I can do this, I can do this,” she cried into what used to be his shirt, but now was gray skin, smooth to the touch and warm. Blinding lights flashed all around them and the distant sound of what could have been a plane engine roared in her head.
“We’ve got you, Maya and we’re not letting go. We’re almost there. I should warn you, We’ll be in our natural form.”
“Don’t you think you should have told me that before we left? Your timing really sucks,” she mumbled.
“Why would it matter what I look like?” Akaos said, his voice was different deeper and stronger.
She held onto him as her eyes adjusted to her new surroundings. “No, you know it wouldn’t have mattered, but if you are some kind of snake thing I might have to kill you.” Maya clung to him.
They were in some kind of cave. It was very warm and bright which surprised her. “Either you have many servants at your home, or we are some where else. I distinctly remember you telling me we were going to your home.”
She tapped her fingernails against his back at the same time reaching around to latch onto Warden, but he wasn’t there. “Warden!” Maya spun around and frowned. There were men all around her. She sniffed the air and looked to the right before leaping into his arms.
“You scare me like that again and I’m going to bite you.” She clung on to Warden who laughed and hugged her tight.
“Here I thought we were bonded to a fierce warrior woman, not some scarred cat,” Akaos teased her and she snarled as she looked over her shoulder at him and swatted what she hoped was arm.
She looked up and up until Maya was staring into his gray face. His black eyes held hers for a moment, before he spoke and his fangs protruded out of his mouth.
“That’s twice you have smacked me. Remember I spank back.” He smiled, showing the rows of sharp teeth.
Slowly, she dragged her gaze down his body. Where muscle men on Earth would have a six pack, her man had a ten pack, literally. Peaking up at him for a minute. she smiled.
“Maybe I want a little taste of that threat?” She squirmed in Warden’s arms as he grabbed both of her ass cheeks and squeezed.
In his true form, Akaos stood over eight feet tall, his chest was twice as wide as was his human form, and there was something sticking out of his back was where wings attached to his skin. Right now she could only see the sharp tips over his head.
“You allow your woman to ogle you like some kind of Earth harlot? And here we were warned not to offend you. Maybe she needs a true Cometedge?”
Warden snarled and lowered her to the ground, placing her behind him.
Inside her, the cat screamed. How dare someone attack and make fun of her men. However she realized at once what she’d done and was ashamed. To degrade and insult her mate in front of his friends was beneath her.
Tears filled her eyes and rolled down her cheek, as she stepped around Warden and jumped into Akaos’ arms, hugging him. “I’m so sorry, please forgive me Akaos. I was so rude.”
She looked up, tears dripping down her cheeks as she waited for him to say anything. Very slowly he reached up. His hands were calloused and rough, but he was gentle, touching her face as if she was something precious.
“Hush, Little Cat. I know you meant no disrespect, not like my fellow Cometedge.” Before she knew what was happening, Warden once more had her behind him, while Akaos reached out and snatched the said man by the neck. He lifted him in the air and shook him like he was a doll.
“You should have listened to the forewarning, Rydge. Not only have you insulted me, but you have brought tears to our meru. Do you know what I can do to you just for that offense alone?”
Saying she was impressed, would be an understatement. Both of her men were impressive, but she still didn’t want to be the cause of any tension.
With his wings spread out at least three feet wide, she tried to reach around Warden to touch him, when she was grabbed from behind. She didn’t know how someone actually got the slip on her. It was the first time in years.
Bones crunched and fur replaced skin, twisting out of the person’s grasp. She used her back paws to get leverage to push herself away from whoever held her. Intending to swipe her clawed paw at him, Maya stopped what she was doing when Akaos’ words reached through the chaos of her mind.
“Stop! Look!” he ordered.
Landing, she spun to see Akaos’ father.
He grinned at her. “I was just going to warn you. You should not touch his wings when he is in a defensive mode. There is a chemical that is excreted that would kill you instantly if you weren’t his bonded.”
She bowed her head and paced around to see the men. Rydge still hung in Akaos hand while Warden stood at his back, protecting him. Akaos turned and smiled at her.
“You are one beautiful lady. Now, what were you going to say?”
“I really don’t want my first time here to be remembered for violence. I’m sure he was just teasing,” she looked over her shoulder and snarled. Four more men came into the room or hallway.
At once Warden was there and picked her up in cat form, holding onto her, tight. He snarled and Maya could feel his wings spread out behind them.
“Warden, stand down now,” Akaos ordered.
Slowly, Warden released her and she paced around Warden to make her way back towards Akaos’ father. She sat down, letting the change take place.
“I’m sorry if I hurt you. I didn’t realize who you were.” She looked down at the ground at her tennis shoes. They were scuffed up, but her favorites.
“There is no need to apologize to me, daughter. I scared you and you had every right to attack,” he draped his arm around her shoulders and squeezed her arm.
“Watch and see what a fellchanter, or what you would call a General, does to one of his men who should have kept his mouth shut.” Behind them, his wings spread out and around them. “I would be lax if I didn’t protect my son’s wife.”
She smiled. “Thank you.” Maya moved a little closer to her father-in-law when the room started to fill up with men. Warden stood at Akaos’ side, but still kept a close eye on her, as did Akaos. Some of them stared at her, but the majority kept their focus on Akaos.
“They come to see Akaos. He is well known in our world as a true warrior. My son is one of the deadliest of our men and I’m afraid very protective of what is his,” he teased her and nodded to his son.
Akaos released the man and stepped back, his wings folded upon themselves, but his stance was a defensive one.
Within seconds the man dropped to his knees and held out his arm. “I have shamed my family and myself, please forgive me, fellchanter Akaos.” Two slits opened up on his arm and Akaos leaned down and drinking from his arm.
Jericho leaned down and whispered. “Rydge will now owe his life to Akaos. At any time my son can now kill him. He’s also just offered himself…”
“Zester!” Akaos and Warden shouted at the same time, turning towards them. “That is between us and our wife.”
He lowered Rydge’s arm and stood. “Come here, Maya.” Akaos held out his hand and she went to him, placing her hand into his.

Very carefully, he drew his bonded into their embrace. He brushed the hair away from her face and framed her head with his hands. “I’m sorry about t
his.” He kissed her lips lightly and nibbled in her ear, before he whispered.
“Remember, no clothes.” With those words, her clothes disappeared from her body. She flinched in their grasp and covered her breasts with her arms. She looked down at her feet and then looked up at him and smiled.
“I like the slippers.” He threw his head back and laughed.
“You can thank Warden for those. He thought your skin wouldn’t handle the flooring in our caves and he was right. When you are out in the tunnels, it’s best you wear them so you won’t hurt your feet. Our skin is tough and can take a lot, but your skin is smooth like silk. Come, let me show you the dangers of my world so you will be prepared.”
With his arm around her and Warden his on her other side, his men stepped aside. All of their eyes were on the human female body. She was the first of her kind to come to their world.
The viewing tank room they were in was impressive even in human terms. The ceilings were over thirty feet high and the room could hold over three hundred of their warriors easily. The walls were dark green, but the diamonds that were buried in the walls shone like little points of light all around them.
On occasions, his men would meet here to train, talk or plan out strategies, but it was also a place to observe the above world and was once one of the dens of the Highash creatures. He waved his hand over the control panel and a rock cover slid to the side.
“We call our world New Barony. This is one of the dens of what we call the Highash.”
The image of a man appeared in the viewing tank. At first he was shocked, and then he was furious! Blocking Maya, he connected with Tesuss. “Why?”
Tesuss grinned and straightened. First his gaze held his, then traveled over Maya’s form. “Do you really believe I would give up my life? You should know better. There has been an uprising among the Highash. I volunteered to join their ranks to find out what I could. She is ours?”
Akaos relaxed his body, but he knew Warden was furious.
“Yes, and you will pay for what you are about to do. You know how close I was to turning into one of those and yet you take this assignment?” Warden cut their communication, when Maya looked up at him with a frown.
“Did I do something wrong?” she shivered and hugged herself. “I can’t feel you two anymore.”
“No you did nothing. I’m sorry, but I can’t explain right now. I will when we get to our personal quarters. To many ears here,” he reassured her the best he could and hoped she would accept their third after what they were going to witness.
She squeezed his arm and moved up to the window where she stared into the den. The first thing she focused on was Tesuss, as it should have been. Cocking her head to the side, Maya placed her hand on the protective shield.
“I take it they can’t see us? They’re…” she peaked over her shoulder.
“They’re like you, but not? More animal,” Maya questioned and turned back to see three males come close to the wall. She jumped back and bumped into them. “Sorry. Are they trying to see in here?”
Warden answered. “They can see in here when we allow it. These are men that gave up and left everything behind including their gifts that they were born with. Each one of them believed there was no hope of finding a female. When this happens, we become like this. It’s what I would have become and was so close to giving up.” He slid his arms around her and cupped her breasts.
“We can live however long we choose, but for some, going without a warm body next to them is too much. See how they’re watching us? How I’m touching you. Every female who comes here with her bonded will be shown to those outside. We are claiming our woman in front of them, warning them if anyone touches what is ours they will be destroyed. Just watching the way I’m playing with your body excites them.” He slid one hand down to her folds and pushed a finger into her.
Akaos kissed the side of her neck and grabbed her butt cheeks. “He strokes his cock each time I slide my finger in and of your body. See the male on the right, Tesuss is his name. He’s the dominant one of this trio. Don’t take your eyes off him. He’s getting ready to take the one next to him.” And he’ll pay dearly for it too.
“Akaos?” she questioned him. She squirmed against him, her body burned with need that only her husbands would give her. Her breath was now a pant. She was linked to the three outside and it was just what he wanted. Even though Tesuss would meet them in their private quarters, the other two would continue to protect her if need be, even without Tesuss around.
If by any chance she ended up outside those two would take her and protect her till her mates could get to her.
The Highash might be more animal than man, but they still had a code of honor and would protect what was his. Yes, he would make sure their woman was protected every possible way. These two, Victor, and Nusa would protect her from the Comet Chillers.
Comet Chillers stood around seven feet tall with scale-like skin. Males were born with two cocks which grew close to at least a foot in length when excited and the width that would tear any human woman apart. Both male and female mated anyone they could capture. A very sexual race, but stupid in nature and highly aggressive species that he and his men avoided.
“I’m allowing Tesuss and his group to link with you. If you are ever dragged outside, they would find you and protect you. Come for them, Maya,” Akaos ordered and pinched her nipple.
The first orgasm of the night was a small one, but it was the only one he was willing to share right now in front of the others. He didn’t know he had a jealousy streak in him, but it was obvious he did. The thought of anyone hearing her Little Cat purrs except him and his Kith made him want to rip them apart bare-handed.
He snarled as Tesuss sunk his cock into Nusa’ ass. Yes, Tesuss would pay for sinking his cock into anyone’s ass but theirs. He even reached around and guided Nusa’ cock into Victor’s ass. A three-way train and right now his cock throbbed wanting to be buried into their female’s pussy.
“I hate to say it, but that is the sexiest thing I’ve seen in a long time,” Maya purred and they moaned. There was no time, they needed to claim her now.
The bonding heat was approaching. “Finish, our mate needs us.” That was the only warning he would give Tesuss. If he wasn’t there and ready, he’d kill him, literally.
“Come, my Cat de mica, it’s time.” He scooped her up and turned. His men parted, leaving a path for him and Warden. His father had gone a while ago, knowing it would make Maya nervous if he was there.
Chapter Eleven
Curling up tight against Akaos’ chest, Maya took in the beauty around her. Sure, she could have been upset and embarrassed by what Akaos did to her in front of everyone, but she wasn’t.
It was well known among her species that the females came into a mating heat, once every two months, for seven days. At this time of the month many of her family were very promiscuous. Even she carried her own little black book, filled with human male phone numbers, since humans couldn’t get her kind pregnant.
She giggled at the thought. Akaos stopped and stared down at her. “What is so funny about a black book? Where have I heard that expression?”
Her face and neck grew warm and she knew her skin was now a nice shade of pink. “Well, it’s an expression with human men. They keep a little black book of women’s phone numbers that were…how can I say this, sexually available to them, but in my case with the mating heat mine phone book was filled with…”
His chest shook when he snarled. “You will give me this book so we can hunt each of these men down,” Warden stated and continued through the tunnels.
Laughing, she shook her head. “No, but I’ll destroy it if it makes you happy. Now are you going to tell me why Tesuss, our third, was outside fucking someone who is not in our family?” she asked as he stepped down into an amazing room, almost making her forget the anger and jealousy she was holding back, but not quite enough.
He lowered her feet to the floor. “Welcome home,
meru.”
The walls were dark blue, but the diamonds once more brightened the room. She smiled at the large flat screen TV in the corner. Some things never changed. Built into one of the walls were different types of little TV’s, each showing a strange land and sometimes creatures?
“Those are our watch boxes. Each one covers the grounds surrounding a gate or doorway into another world. Each of us has these in our rooms, so if one of us misses a threat, another will pick up that threat.”
Warden nodded to the strange chair. It was soft, but yet hard if one were to hit it. Maya had a feeling nothing could destroy the outer surface of the chair, it was so strong. “Sit, we need to talk.”
She sat down as Tesuss came strolling into the room. Where before he was covered in fur and his muscle features around the face were more pronounced, he now looked very much like the warrior he was.
“Stand, let me take a look at you,” he ordered, once he stood in front of her.
Her vision changed to that of the cats, her now long nails tapped out a rhythm on the hard surface while she slowly focused on the man in front of her. Everything in her wanted to do as he wished, but after he had just betrayed them sinking his cock into someone else, Maya growled long and loud.
“Don’t. Even. Think. About. It.” She sniffed the air and snarled again. “Don’t come to us smelling of someone else. Get away from me now.” She turned her attention towards Warden, taking a deep breath.
“Show me around the place, will you.” She stood up going to move towards Warden when Tesuss blocked her way.
His body was only inches away from hers. “You are rejecting me?” Tesuss snarled.
Before she knew what was happening, Akaos had Tesuss up against the wall, while Warden scooped her up into his shaking arms. “Come, let us take a nice warm bath.”
