Of these treatises Sykes writes mat 'none of these have been traced; it is possible that the originals are lying in some private library.' In: Egerton Sykes, The Keely Mystery, Markham House, 2nd revised edition, 1972, page 9. Pond writes that Lippincott denies they ever saw or published these books. On this, Pond writes 'While the Snell manuscript contains many of these same quotes mere are a large number of paragraphs mat I have not seen elsewhere. This is why I maintain a certain coincidence with Snell's allegation of the source being a book by Keely. However... there is a great possibility these quotes came from elsewhere.' 43. Gaston Burridge, 'The Baffling Keely Free Energy Machines,' Fate, vol.10, no.7, 1957, page 46. Of the Keely files allegedly in Sweden, Sykes suggested that 'Keely's papers are locked up in the cellars of a castle in Sweden just waiting for somebody to go and look at them.' In: Egerton Sykes, 'Keely Once Again,' Atlantis, vol.21, no.3, May/June 1968, page 68. Burridge's tale resurfaced in 1972; that year Swedish publisher Wendelholm issued the ring-stapled volume 'Keely - Pictures of his Discoveries' in a limited edition of 500 copies, now out of print. According to a certain A.L. who wrote me forward, '.. .Keely had a young relative who is apparently still alive. This relative had no great faith in Keely's work, but he related mat Mrs. Moore passed on many of Keely's secrets, however good or bad, to Count von Rosen, at mat time a resident of Scodand. The last information we have of mis material is mat it was brought to Stockholm in 1912. But it has recently come to light again.' The book consists of 54 photographs of some of Keely's devices and charts, some culled from contemporary articles on Keely. Although the writer suggests mat the book is a selection of, or all of the Swedish Keely materials, it is by no means certain mat these photo's were part of what was allegedly sent to Sweden. Pond communicated with the publisher in 1985; the written answer was: 'The original (sic) for reprinting was remitted us from a secret society in Sweden (sic). As we remember the material was transmitted to me society by Count von Rosen there was in family contact with Mrs. Bloomfield-Moore (sic). The material was in old blueprints and brown-colored pictures of bad quality, - particularly me diagrams (sic)..
. We mean, that the only reason we was contacted for this mission was mat we in long time have been produced books of alkemistic caractere, and me society was solicitous to bring the Keely-tradition to the public...(sic)' Copy of letter of publisher dated November 6, 1985, in my possession. My attempts to contact the publisher to clarify this matter were to no avail. Letters were returned, stating that the P.O. Box address was no longer in use. The circumstantial evidence is that some of the photographs sport Bloomfield-Moore's handwriting, identifying several parts on Keely's engines and requesting the return of the photo's to her London home address.
