“Finn, please, hold me,” Julianna begged.
It broke my fucking heart. I looked at her over my shoulder and she still was crying. She needed me more than this asshole needed a beating. I changed course, going back to Julianna and hugged her tight, pressing my lips against the top of her head.
“I’m so sorry, baby. I’m here.”
Julianna sniffled as she looked over at Michael who was now handcuffed and subdued as much as he could be. This fucker was going to rot in jail for the rest of his life, I was going to make sure of it. Julianna pulled away a little and grabbed my hand before lacing our fingers.
When she looked up at me, she looked tired and ready to go home. I nodded knowing that I just wanted to get her back to my place, get her the hell out of here, anything to see her smile. I got us to the doorway and Julianna stopped. When I turned to ask her if she was okay, she was looking at Michael with a mischievous and confident smile.
“Michael, the only reason you probably think that I was bad in bed is because you were too small to satisfy me. Every time that we had sex, I faked it. And while you’re lying in your cell at night, playing with your small cock? I’ll be with a real man who makes me come so hard I can’t see straight. Have a great life, asshole.”
My mouth fell open. Holy shit. Did that just seriously come out of her mouth?
Julianna looked at me, “Take me home, Finn.”
I looked at Michael whose face mirrored mine before I smirked at how confident Julianna had gotten in just two short months. When we had met, there was no way she would’ve said that to anybody.
I led Julianna back to the car and when we got there, I couldn’t hold back anymore as I trapped her against the passenger side and kissed her hard. It was hot to watch her stand up to Michael. She was all sorts of sexy before that but when that moment occurred, let’s just say I got very hard very quickly.
Julianna deepened the kiss, putting her arms around my neck and doing her sexy little moans. I grabbed her leg and brought it around my waist, my hand running up and down her naked skin as her skirt pushed up slightly. When she ended the kiss, I thought I was going to combust. We needed to get home, and fast.
“Fuck me, right here…right now,” Julianna smiled slyly as she ground her hips against mine.
What? No please?
“What’s the magic word?” I teased. It sounded rather breathy because it felt like I couldn’t catch my breath no matter how hard I tried.
“Just fuck me already,” she moaned and picked up our kiss right where it left off.
There was no fucking way that I was going to turn her down. I shoved her skirt up around her hips and forced her panties to the side as her hands practically ripped the button from my jeans and pushed them down to allow my cock to finally come out to play. I wasted no time in pushing myself into her, Julianna ended our kiss as her head leaned back and her back arched to push her clothed chest against mine.
I held on tightly to her hips as I bucked into her repeatedly, her arms locked tight around me as she moaned with pleasure. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw something move. I looked over only to see Michael in the back of a cop car that was beginning to drive away. His face was almost pushed up against the glass as he stared at me and Julianna fucking out in the open.
That’s right asshole, I’m fucking her up against my car and making her moan for me.
“Look at that,” I offered to Julianna who brought her head off the passenger window and looked where I had indicted with my chin.
She giggled and looked at me, her hands tangling in my hair, “You like him watching or something?”
“He should see how well I give it to you.” If only he could hear how loud I can make you scream.
I squeezed her ass in my hands as I pounded into her, a light sweat beading on my forehead.
“You fuck me so good, Finn,” Julianna groaned, as she leaned her head back in ecstasy.
Holy fuck.
“You like that, Jules? You like how I’m fucking you right now?” I groaned into her neck as my teeth grazed her skin.
“Yes, yes, I love it,” Julianna moaned breathlessly as she tugged on my hair. She was so fucking close to bursting.
“You better fucking love it,” I teased.
I felt her insides wrap around my cock tight as her mouth opened into a large ‘O’. Giving one last hard pump, there was no way I could hold back my release anymore. It felt as though I couldn’t stop filling her up. I let Julianna’s leg go and she practically crumbled to the ground as I readjusted my jeans and sealed them up. I hooked an arm around her quickly, helping her stand up straight.
“That blow off enough steam for ya?” I chuckled as I kissed her forehead which had a light moisture of sweat like mine.
Julianna giggled, “For now. I can’t say that that will still be the case when we get back to your place though.”
“I love you. I hope that you know that,” I whispered as I tucked a loose hair behind her ear.
Her eyes lit up, “I do know that. And I love you, too.”
After helping her with the passenger door, I got in behind the wheel a little too excitedly and sped off towards home. We couldn’t make it into the house and into my room quick enough, clothes littering the floor as we made our way up to my bedroom. The amount of moans and screams that came from the bedroom were surely enough to annoy my neighbors. The thing was, I couldn’t give a shit. My main focus over the next few hours was showing Julianna how much love and passion I felt for her, how amazing she was, and how good I could make her feel.
As we cuddled in my bed, Julianna’s head in its rightful place on my chest, I could feel some sort of nervousness radiating off of her. Even as I rubbed her back, which always calmed her down, it was still there. I’d felt it when I got into that screaming match with Michael as she held onto me tightly and cried into my chest. Of course, it disappeared as soon as the sex begun, but now it was back in full force. What could my beautiful girl be thinking about that was worrying her so badly?
“Finn…” Julianna’s soft voice into the quiet room.
“Yes, baby?” I said quietly, trying not to disturb the bliss that still filled the space around us.
“You know that I have no interest in your money, right?” The quiet tone of her voice broke my heart.
Julianna would never care about my money. She had never cared about it up until this point. It was like pulling teeth for her to allow me to spend any sort of money on her. The very first gift I gave her, the heart shaped necklace for our one-month anniversary, it took me twenty minutes to influence her to keep the damn thing.
Yes, it was sterling silver and it had a few diamonds on it, but the thing cost not even an eighth of what my townhouse apartment cost me every month. She deserved the world and I wanted to give it to her. Her question caused me to stop rubbing her back because it caught me so off guard. Did she truly not know herself well enough that there was no way in hell that she could be a gold digger?
“I know you aren’t a gold digger, Julianna. Michael was just being a douchebag.”
Her head lifted slightly as her lips pressed against my chest, causing goosebumps to raise on my arms, “I’d love you even if you were poor.”
Well damn, did that bring back college memories or what? She didn’t know that even though I had a full ride scholarship to the University of Georgia, I still struggled with money. My family did as well for themselves as they could after my father abandoned us. Mom worked full time, even working a second job at one point to support the three of us boys. When I turned eighteen and went off to college, I refused to let my mother support me because she needed the money to support herself.
My mother was always a very giving person, always willing to help out when you needed it, but I needed to prove that I could do it on my own. I worked my odd jobs in order to help pay for soccer expenses in high school and to pay for things that I needed through college. At one point, I was eating a shit ton of Ramen and Easy Mac f
or my meals. That was why I never took my nice paychecks for granted. I started out buying Ramen in bulk, now I could afford anything that I wanted.
I chuckled at the memory of my college days, “A poor soccer player. Sounds like my college days all over again.”
Her head laid back on my chest, “I know I’ve said this a million times…but thank you for being there tonight. Thank you for protecting me when I called for you.”
She didn’t need protection, but I’d spend my life protecting her just for my sanity to know that she was safe. The fact that she really had thanked me several times before and after the appointment was heartwarming. I had never been with anyone as appreciative as this darling woman in my arms. My arm held onto her tighter, remembering the course of the evening.
How Michael yelled at her, the sight of Julianna in a full panic as soon as I swung the door open, the way she sobbed into my chest as I held onto her. Her voice still rung in my head as she begged me to hold her after I was about to pound Michael’s face in. I’d never heard a more earth-shattering sound than the sound of Julianna breaking apart. Instantly, I regretted letting her go in the first place. Michael wasn’t worth it, Julianna needed my full attention.
I placed a kiss against her hair, taking a moment to appreciate the wonderful smell of her shampoo, “I told you, I will always be there to protect you. Whenever you need me, you just call for me, and I will be there.”
Her arm that was wrapped around my waist tightened its hold, “I love you, Finn.”
It was amazing how easily those four little words made me smile, “I love you so fucking much, Julianna. Now go to sleep.”
She giggled quietly, “Bossy.”
“Only for you.”
For always.
Chapter Ten
No matter how much time I spent with Julianna over the next few days, it never felt like enough. We were inseparable since the appointment with Michael, and I’d be damned if I had to spend any time away from the woman of my dreams. She’d been busy and preoccupied with work when we weren’t together, and we were wrapped up in one another when we were, so I hadn’t exactly had a chance to ask her to go with me to Atlanta for my birthday until Wednesday night when she brought it up. Her excitement in wanting to spoil me for my birthday still made me chuckle.
Julianna plopped down on the couch next to me after putting the dinner dishes in the dishwasher. It was her night to clean up, so I had spent the last fifteen minutes watching a movie on TV.
“So, your birthday is on Saturday,” she smiled at me as if I didn’t already know.
“Yep, the big 2-6,” I laughed.
She playfully hit my arm, “Hey, don’t make it sound that old because I turn the same age next month.”
I leaned over and gave her a quick kiss, “You make twenty-six look great.”
“Flattery won’t get you out of a birthday present, McAllister. What does my future husband want for his birthday?”
I shrugged, “I already have everything I want for a gift, I have you.”
She raised her eyebrow at me, “Seriously, Finn. If you could have anything in the world for your birthday, what would it be?”
Now was my chance to ask about Atlanta.
“I want you to come with me to Atlanta this weekend to visit my family and celebrate with us.”
“Atlanta? But you have a home game on Sunday.”
“Yeah, well I always try to get back home for my birthday because I want to celebrate my birthday with those that I care about. You are one of those people. We’d fly out on Friday afternoon, spend Saturday celebrating with my family, and fly back early Sunday morning to make it back for the game.”
She put her arms around my neck, “Sounds like a lot of work for a weekend that supposed to be all about the birthday boy.”
I pulled her onto my lap and nuzzled my face into her neck, “But it’s all worth it in the end. Especially because my beautiful fiancée will be there with me this year.”
“Okay, okay. I’ll take a half day on Friday and I will go with you. Besides, I haven’t met your brothers yet…who’s to say they won’t hate me.”
I laughed a little too loudly, the idea that Cooper and Ashton not liking Julianna really was a funny thought, “Baby, they will love you.”
Julianna smiled sweetly, “Are you sure you don’t want any gifts for your birthday besides me going with you? I want to make your day extra special.”
“You can give me secret birthday sex in my bedroom at my mom’s house.”
Her eyes widened, I hadn’t told her that we were staying with my mom at my childhood home, “We’re staying at your mom’s house? That really puts a damper on things. I don’t want her to hate me if she finds out we are having sex.”
I smirked, “Guess you’ll just have to learn how to keep quiet during sex. Wanna practice?”
I started running my hand up her thigh and under the skirt of her dress that she had worn to work. My fingers quickly slipped into her panties and rubbed her clit as her head leaned back and a moan came out of her lips.
“Quiet, baby. It’s all about being quiet.”
Fuck, this was gonna be hot.
Julianna was obviously nervous to meet my entire family. She even packed her suitcase so full that she was struggling to get it down the stairs. I laughed, it was like she packed everything she’d been keeping in my apartment to make sure that she didn’t forget anything. When we got to the airport and I really got a good look at what Julianna was wearing, a pink and white sundress that fell to her knees but hugged her body beautifully, I suddenly remembered that I hadn’t packed any condoms. We hadn’t really been using them much because every time we got to the point of sex, I was too eager to push into her that the thought of a condom went out the window. That had never happened with any girl before, the feeling of needing to be inside of Julianna gnawed at my brain nearly every second of the day.
I didn’t put much thought into the condom though, the feeling of her hot pussy wrapped around my cock with no barrier made my orgasms that much more intense. During the plane ride, Julianna and I watched one of the Fast and the Furious movies. More than halfway through, she fell asleep with her head on my shoulder. Memories of our first date came to mind as I kissed the top of her head and gave her hand that was in mine a gentle squeeze.
It was when we got to Atlanta that the fun really began. On my way to mom’s house, I took her on a mini tour of my hometown. I took her past the soccer field where I had my very first game, drove past the few places that I worked to make a few dollars to support my soccer dreams, and I slowly rolled by my high school and the soccer field where from day one, I loved the thrill of a real soccer match. Up until that point it was one of those ‘even if you lose you got a participation ribbon’ games, but in high school you got to compete with other schools and there were real winners and losers.
Julianna pointed out the window, “Look, they even have the bleachers where Finn McAllister gained his sex god status of the high school.”
I laughed, my cheeks blushing as I continued to drive past. Julianna never asked about my dating history before Natalie. She had no idea that I only dated one girl for all four years of high school. While I may have earned that status with Celeste, she never led on that I was a sex god.
My mom’s house was only a few short blocks from where I went to high school and soon I was parking in front of the house. Cooper and Ashton had told me that they were coming over with their families for dinner to meet Julianna without the rest of our friends and family around. I just hadn’t told Julianna that tidbit of information.
After shutting off the car, I went to the trunk and started unloading the bags onto the sidewalk in front of my childhood home. Julianna got out of the car and asked me why there were three cars in the driveway if my mother lived alone. I smiled and shook my head as I closed the trunk. The front door swung open and my five-year-old niece, Sofie, ran out to greet me as she always did when I came home to visit. I pulled h
er into my arms and onto my hip as she wrapped her arms around my neck.
“Uncle Finn, you really are here!” She squealed with excitement as she pressed a loud kiss to my cheek.
“You think that I’d miss spending my birthday with my favorite girl in the whole world?” I laughed, and I kissed her cheek back before squeezing her with a hug.
Sofie had been a light in a dark time of my life when she was born. I was twenty-one, partying a little too hard, my relationships were lasting only a month if that, and my grades were slipping. The second that I saw Sofie after she was born, and after Cooper asked me to be her godfather, I promised her that I would change so that I could be someone that she looked up to. Even though I lived several states away, Sofie and I were still as close as two people could be.
I could see Julianna watching us, a smile on her face. Sofie was a great judge of character, something I doubted up until she met Natalie and pegged her as a bad person. A small part of me prayed that she would love Julianna even though I had no shadow of a doubt that I knew Julianna was an amazing person. I turned my body to face Julianna and Sofie turned her attention to her.
“Sofie, there is someone really special that I want you to meet,” I looked at Julianna and smiled wide, “This is Julianna. She’s going to be your aunt soon.”
There wasn’t a set date on how soon that would be, but it was the truth. Sofie would’ve seen the ring and asked about it later if I didn’t say anything now.
“You’re getting married?” Sofie watched Julianna with that look that said she was reading someone, like she was staring into their soul somehow.
Please, Sofie…like Julianna.
Julianna smiled her sweet genuine smile and nodded at Sofie. My heart melted just at the sight of that smile and to know that it was directed at Sofie made it even better. When Natalie met Sofie she gave a fake smile, like she gave most of my family, and when Sofie tried to hug her she stiffened like a board.
“Yay! I get another aunt!” Sofie screamed, practically throwing herself out of my arms to hug Julianna tight.
