Loki's Angel: A Poseidon's Warriors MC novel - Book 3 Page 16

by Darlene Tallman

“Fuck,” he hisses out. “Playing with fire, CeeCee,” he warns as his hips begin thrusting, pushing more of him into my mouth. I can feel my gag reflex hitch a bit, but I won’t deny him this pleasure. His hands grip my head, his fingers undoing my messy bun before they tangle in the curls that fall around us like a curtain.

“Don’t care,” I mumble around him. I want him to lose control, want to feel him pulsing inside my mouth as he comes. I start gently fondling his balls, enjoying the moans he’s emitting.

“You’re going to make me come,” he manages to say, his back bowing off the bed. “Fuckkkkk,” he moans out. I feel his balls draw up before he stiffens then comes, filling my mouth so completely that some trickles out. Once he’s done, I take my time cleaning him up then grin.

“Delicious,” I tell him before he reaches down, grabs me under my arms and hauls me up his body until I’m sprawled over him.

“I think we need to add Naked Netflix to our life on a regular basis,” I tell him much, much later. I’ve lost count of the number of orgasms he’s given me this rainy Saturday; I just know that if the building caught fire, I’d have to burn up because I don’t have the energy to lift my finger much less move.

“It’s a given, Angel,” he replies. “You hungry?”

I’m about to answer when my stomach rumbles. “I guess so, but I’m going to have to starve because I don’t have the energy to move, honey.”

He chuckles then reaches for his phone that’s on the nightstand. “The benefit of having prospects, sweetheart. What are you in the mood for?”

“Mexican? If we call over to Jorge’s restaurant, he’ll do a to-go order for us. We can always reheat it, but if he knows it’s for us, he’ll make sure to package it well enough that we shouldn’t have to do that.”

“That sounds good to me.” I lazily watch as he calls the restaurant, places our order and pays, then sends a text telling one of the prospects to go pick it up, then bring it to our door. He also tells them to bring some fruit for Thelma and Louise.

“It’s kind of like living in a hotel,” I muse. “Well, I mean, I know it used to be one, but if you need something, you just get a prospect to handle it, then you’ve got Tessie, Chelsea and Riah to do the cooking and cleaning.”

His chuckles rumble through me before he kisses me then does an ab curl to sit up. “Shower time, Angel. We’ll take an intermission while we wait for food, grab a shower, take care of the pets, then once we eat, resume our regularly scheduled programming.”

“God, I love you,” I whisper.

“Love you more, Angel. Love you until the stars fall from the sky, until we’re both old and gray, until neither of us remember who we were before the other one came into our lives. That’s how much I love you and how long I’ll love you,” he replies, bringing tears to my eyes.

  CeeCee

  Two Months Later

The poker run is tomorrow, so today, all of us women are in the kitchen, along with Momma M. Patsy declined to come and help, which concerns me. Tessie has a playlist going in the background, but the laughter and conversations going on has drowned out the music. As I mix up another pan of banana pudding, Momma M comes up to me and pulls me into a side hug. “I really like your new friends,” she whispers, kissing my cheek. “Not only that, but I love seeing you come out of your shell, sweetheart.”

“She sure has,” Lilli asserts. “I know none of us, well, me and Gia at least, knew what to expect when we hooked ourselves to a biker, but these men are some of the absolute best men I’ve ever known.” Gia nods her agreement, as do Chelsea, Tessie and Riah. “They’re hardworking, honest, dedicated, and when they love, they do it unconditionally. CeeCee may be lucky that she met Loki, but I think he’s the lucky one as well because your daughter is awesome.”

I can’t help the blush that creeps up my face at her words. “I feel like getting the tattoo did something that no amount of therapy ever could’ve done. Does that even make sense? It’s not like the scars were able to be seen so I was the only one who knew they were there.”

“But those scars kept you from living, my girl,” Momma M says. “Oh, you were existing, don’t get me wrong, but now, you’re actually living.”

“I think what helped too was going to see her one last time,” I admit. “Plus, seeing the therapist that Gia recommended.” Sandra, my therapist, has been a godsend in so many ways. She has allowed me to examine my past from an adult viewpoint, which enabled me to understand that Beatrice was a miserable person who probably shouldn’t have ever had children. The abuse is inexcusable, of course, but I now understand that just because she was a shitty parent, doesn’t mean I would be. “She’s been good for me in a lot of ways,” I state. “I’m not afraid about the possibility of being a mom someday.”

“You were scared of having a baby?” Momma M asks, her voice trembling. “Honey, why?”

“Because I was afraid I’d be like her. Sandra has helped me see that you have given me a wonderful example of what being a parent is truly like. Not only that, but with my friends here, there’s no way I would totally screw things up.”

Lilli giggles then says, “Plus, Loki comes from an awesome family, so you’ve got that as well.”

“True, true,” I state, covering the first banana pudding. “This needs to go in the fridge.”

“Got it,” Tessie says. “I love living here because I never had a good childhood. Being here is like having a huge family and I love taking care of all of y’all.” I don’t know her as well, but the quiet, unassuming woman is an integral part of keeping the clubhouse orderly.

“I do too,” Riah admits. “Plus, of course, even though he’s a prospect, Dutch has helped me in so many ways.”

“Isn’t it funny that we all come from varied backgrounds, yet we’ve created a family here?” Gia muses. “Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d have this, but when Trident came barreling into my life the way he did, he gave me one of the best gifts.” I instinctively know she’s not talking about the baby that she’s currently cradling. No, she’s speaking of the camaraderie that the men share, the ease with which all of us women get along. There are no catty arguments, no bitchy times.

“Cookies are done,” Chelsea announces, shutting off the timer then pulling two trays from one of the ovens.

“God, it smells so freaking awesome in here, doesn’t it?” I ask no one in particular. “I’m getting hungry though.”

“Let’s order Chinese and have one of the prospects pick it up,” Lilli decrees.

I shake my head. “No, they’re busy getting all the tables and what-not set up. We can have it delivered. I don’t want the riders getting back to find stuff isn’t done.”

“Good plan,” Gia says, pulling out her phone. “Okay, ladies, what do you want?”

With the kitchen now spotless, I take Momma M upstairs to see our pets. I’ve pretty much moved in with Loki, leaving Patsy in our house. “I think something’s going on with Patsy,” Momma M admits once we’re in my suite. “She’s so withdrawn these days but when I try to press for answers, she shuts me down.”

“Me too. I know it’s not because I’m living with Loki since I asked her directly. Something happened on that trip that she’s not willing to tell either of us. She’s gotten thinner, too, have you noticed?”

“Yes, I have,” Momma M replies before cooing, “Who’s a pretty baby?”

“Thelma,” Squirrel replies, eliciting a giggle from me. Of the two birds, he’s the one most enthralled with the beardies. When they’re free, he often sits next to their habitat and chatters to her. Moose, on the other hand, delights in shouting out inappropriate things.

“Oh, Loki, I like that,” he chirps, causing me to blush and Momma M to start laughing.

“Never a dull moment for you, CeeCee,” she says. “Now, what else do y’all need to do before these riders get back?”

“No clue so I guess we better head back down to see what
Lilli needs us to do.”

  Loki

The only way this day would be better is if CeeCee was wrapped around me. Right now, I think I’m holding the winning hand, which works because if I win, I’m giving it to Kaya. The tears on her face this morning when Poseidon did his speech before we took off on the run tell me that she’s been handling shit on her own for far too long. “Did you see Specks’ reaction when he was introduced to Kaya and her son this morning?” Poseidon asks as we take a quick break.

“I noticed. Didn’t think the brother would ever be interested in anything outside of his computers,” I reply, chuckling.

“Your woman has settled in quite nicely,” he observes. I unconsciously stroke the small box that’s in my pocket. I’ve got an important question for my old lady; one I’m praying has an affirmative response.

“Yeah, she has,” I state. With three old ladies now, we’re doing a lot of family-oriented shit; game nights, movie nights, family dinners. Even though Poseidon and Lilli live off the premises, they’re at the clubhouse with Winnie more often than not. “Pres, y’all have been at the clubhouse more than your own place, everything okay?”

“Since I’m hoping Brooks strikes gold on his next trip to St. Mary’s, we decided to put the house up on the market. If this doesn’t give us what I think it will for Kaya, I may just have an estate sale since otherwise, I’ll have to store all our shit somewhere.”

I start laughing as I mentally think of all the things Lilli bought for their house as well as the clubhouse for Winnie. “Might not be a bad idea, brother.”

He nods then lifts his arm, circling his hand. Time to ride.

  The end… for now
