“Oh. My. Logan,” Gwen panted.
I kissed her naked shoulder and her neck. Her cheeks and the shell of her ear. Reveling in how goosebumps rushed along her skin as she rested against my body.
“Look up,” I said.
“I can’t open my eyes,” she whispered.
“Trust me. Just once.”
And when she did, I heard her gasp.
“Look at all the stars,” she said.
“It’s like this every night out here,” I said.
“It’s so beautiful.”
I kissed her neck, committing her beautiful heat to memory. “Not as beautiful as you.”
And even though she giggled as if shrugging off my comment, I meant every single word of it. There was no starry night I had ever experienced at my homestead that was as breathtaking as the woman I held in my arms.
“I think I’m falling in love with you,” I told her honestly.
She smiled. ”I don’t think you’re the only one. I never put my heart on the line Logan, but for you, I’m willing to try.”
“Then we’ll take it easy.”
She snuggled into me further. “That sounds perfect.”
