A Heart's Breath Page 19

by Ellen March

“Always,” she chuckled, “my heart’s breath.”

He looked down at her. “Just what does that mean?”

Savannah snuggled against his chest and muttered, “Whilst you’re alive, my heart will always beat, and each breath you take will become mine. We’ll become one, sweetheart.”

Micah smiled. He liked that. His Anna had some weird notions, but here was something he totally agreed with.

He could hear her breathing slow down. “Sleep, baby, my very own heart’s breath.” He held her secure in his arms. And his own eyes closed.

Ellen March is the pen name of Helen Duggan. She and her husband live on top of a mountain in Wales, which is ideal in the summer but not so much in the winter months or when it rains. She has three grown children, one suicidal cat—it really does have nine lives—and two Alaskan malamutes. One of her hobbies is showing and working them.

Ellen’s first love, however, is reading and writing. Since childhood, she has devoured every romance and fantasy she can get her hands on and enjoys acting out her own fantasies in print. Her body of work includes erotic romance, psychological thrillers, and supernatural fantasies. A Heart’s Breath is the seventh of her erotic romances that Fanny Press has published. More are coming in 2017. In 2016, Camel Press published Snowdrops in Summer, her first work of women’s fiction written under real name.
