Five Star Curves: A BWWM Romance Page 7

We both giggle as we take a glance towards him. Elijah laughs out loud for what Devon said, and he carries Elijah on his neck. They run around the house, Elijah shouting happily.

I feel so happy. I haven’t seen my son this happy and content for a very long time. Tears are trying to fall out, but I stop them. I don’t want to stain this fantastic day with my tears.

“Hey, stop doing that so that you can eat these cookies!” I stop them and place on the coffee table a plate of cookies and a glass of milk for Elijah. “It’s almost bedtime, little prince. So you have to sleep.”

Elijah shakes his head and stares at Devon. Oh, I see. I smile.

“Uncle Devon will-” Devon cuts me off.

“Do you want uncle to read you a story?” Devon asks Elijah. “But I have something better. Drink your milk and let’s go to bed together, okay?”

Elijah nods his head, drinking his milk. Thank you, I mouth to Devon, and he only nods. This is a sight to behold with the three of us. I love this feeling.

“You booked a hotel?” Mother asks Devon as he’s saying goodbye.

“Yes, ma’am,” Devon replies to her. My mom nods and slyly smiles as she glances at me.

“You can call me mom,” mom says to Devon. I’m shocked but elated. Devon looks very happy.

“Thank you, mom. I need to go,” Devon says to mother. “Bye, darling.”

“Go with Devon,” mom says to me. I’m surprised, does she not want to spend time with me anymore? Joke! I know she wants me to be with Devon; she can probably see the longing in my eyes.

“Go with him, and have a date or whatever. We’re fine here,” mom says to the both of us. “Take care of my daughter, okay? Thank you.”

Mom pushes me out of the door, hands me my bag, and closes the door. We can hear her chuckling from the inside.

“Let’s go,” I tell Devon, and he says yes. We go to his hotel, hand in hand, planning to enjoy the night together.

“What are you scrolling on your phone?” I ask Devon as I lie down beside him. He looks earnest. I trace my nails on his arms, and he moans.

“Read this first, darling,” he hands me his phone as he grabs my breasts covered only by a bathrobe.

“What’s this?” I moan and read his phone. It’s my Instagram account? I look at him.

“Look, darling. Tens of millions. Darling, you’re now a star, a dazzling one,” Devon says to me as he kisses me on the lips. His hands moving all over my body.

“Star? Am I your star?” I ask Devon. I only want to be his and my family’s star. The others don’t matter. Devon chuckles.

“You’ll forever be one, “ Devon traces his index finger on my nose. “I love you.”

“I love you too,” I reply to him, and we kiss like there’s no tomorrow. No matter what the future holds, we made a vow that we’re going to be together.

And so, the long night ensues once more. Our moans and groans fill the room, giving it a romantic, erotic feel.

This is probably one of the best nights of my life.

  Nineteen

  Devon

"I have so many things to be thankful for this year," I state in front of everyone. I thought I can't come to our thanksgiving, but here I am. We arrived a day ahead and have already spent a bit of time with Elijah and my mom.

Devon and Elijah hit it off, and my mom has fallen in love with Devon. Yep, she loves him like a son now. Sometimes they gang up on me, and my mom tells him of all my embarrassing moments.

"There might have been a mistake. Is Devon your son, mom?" I ask my mom. She's busy preparing his favorite food. My mom only laughs and hands Devon, a plate full of food. I pout.

"Mommy," I look down, and I see Elijah handing me a plate of food too. I smile and kisses him on his face. How lucky am I!

"Excellent, Elijah. You should take care of mommy!" Devon says to my son, and he gives the latter food. "Here you go; for a good boy like you."

"Thank you, daddy!" Elijah says and runs away to the nearest sofa. Wait, did he just say daddy? My head snaps to Devon and to Elijah, back and forth.

"He calls you daddy?" I ask Devon. Devon smiles and lands a kiss on my lips.

"I told him. Your son needs a father, Jenna," Devon announces. My mother has a tear in her eyes, while I feel so surreal as I stare at Devon.

This is another thing to be thankful for.

  "Thank you."

  "I love you."

Elijah's on Devon's neck again, and Devon's running around the living room.

"Whoooo!" The two of them shouts and role-plays as heroes. I laugh because I never thought I'm going to see Devon act this way. Damn, he's my boss, and he acts like a kid or a carrier for my son.

His son, too, Devon loves Elijah as I do.

  My heart swells.

"Daddy, faster, faster! Higher!" Elijah urges Devon, and the latter moves faster; he also raises Elijah higher.

"So fun!" I comment and run to them. We tumble on the sofa, and I tickle both of them. We're all laughing, and they attack me with their hands.

"Oh! Oh!" I'm almost on the floor, laughing because they have attacked me like crazy. Elijah's on top of me, while Devon's on my side. They're tickling me.

"You deserve this!" Devon says to me.

"Enough….haha… enough!" I shout as I try to cover my sides. "Let's stop this, for now, it's almost time to leave."

"Will we play tomorrow?" Elijah asks. I'm happy that he's not overly clingy to us.

"Yes," Devon says. We're leaving two days from now. We still have enough time to spend with Elijah.

Elijah runs away carrying his toy train.

"I have something to tell you, Jenna," Devon says to me.

"What is it?" I ask him. He looks serious. What does Devon want?

"Why don't we bring Elijah to Philadelphia? It's better if he's with us. Your mother's getting older, and he's a very hyper child. Shouldn't it be better if he's with us? He can go to school there. I have a friend that has an excellent kindergarten school," Devon explains to me.

I'm surprised by his suggestion, and I can't even react right on the spot. Devon's… always has me in his mind, and it seems he's going to be a good father too.

God… did I save someone before for you to reward me like this? I feel so loved and appreciated.

"I'll…" I lick my lips. "I'll have to talk to mom. I'm so happy!"

"Great!" Devon grabs my hand and kisses my palm.

"But I think it's also better if we set up an apartment first, so we can stay together," I say to him as I remember that my place is pretty small.

  Devon smiles at me.

"Don't worry, I'll have everything sorted out," Devon shows me something on his phone. "I already contacted someone last night. A realtor."

"You're… I don't know what to say!" I exclaim. Damn, Devon always has everything ready. He's such a ready to go man. This is one of the things I like about him.

"Let's not talk about this now, think of how you're going to break this to your mom. And if she also wants to come to Philadelphia, we can arrange it for her," Devon adds.

"That's enough surprises for me today," I feel so happy. "Why don't we talk more in our hotel?"

I want to reward him. There's something that he'll love.

"Mom, we're going!" I drag Devon out without waiting for my mom's reply. Elijah's already upstairs, in his room.

"What is it? I think you have a surprise for me," Devon says to me. I laugh and drag him to walk faster to his car.

He's going to love my surprise.

"What is it?" Devon asks me as soon as we enter our hotel room. I shake my head, laughing as I push him on the bed. I take off his shoes, and he drags me to his lap.

"What's the surprise? I can't take it anymore, darling. Tell me."

  I giggle.

"Cuddle me first," I reply to him. Devon laughs, and he places me on the bed. Devon places my head on his chest.

  "Isn't this perfect?"

  "Yes, this si
lent and memorable moment with you is great…" Devon sighs, and he hugs me tighter to him.

"Devon… what if there's another Elijah?" I ask him in a whisper.

"Hmmm? Why there's another Elijah? Does he have a twin?" Devon asks me absent-mindedly. I giggle.

"What is it?" Devon asks me, clueless.

I laugh harder, "What I mean is, I'm pregnant!"

"Pregnant?" Devon stares at me, and his face transforms into happiness. "You're pregnant with our baby? Really? Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm sure," I tell him as I sit up. Devon's already standing up on the bed; he jumps up and down. I laugh out loud.

  "You're pleased?"

"I am, damn, I'm going to be a father!" Devon shouts. "But how about your modeling career?"

"I think that our baby is my priority," I tell him. "But I can also model as a pregnant lady. Also, Instagram will eat it up."

Devon grins, "Then, I'll have to accept those pregnancy endorsements."

We kiss, knowing that we have a bright future ahead of us.

  "For us."

  Twenty

  Jenna

"Do you like it?" I glance at Devon as he's helping Elijah unwrap presents. My son has received lots this year, especially from his new daddy. I smile when I see the look of awe in his Elijah's face.

Devon didn't hold back and bought him a lot of limited edition toys and shoes. According to him, growing boys should be allowed to play all they want. Also, he likes it when Elijah brags about how much he loves his daddy.

He heard that while we were picking him up. I swear, he looks like a bloated person. They're so fun to watch when they're together. Those two even have a father and son shirts.

People will never think that Devon is Elijah's stepdad.

"They look perfect, don't they?" Mom asks me. She hands aunt Gloria and me a cup of coffee.

"Looks like you don't have an aversion for coffee? When I had you, I can't stomach the smell of one."

"Thank God, I can't possibly live without coffee," I reply to her. "I need a dose every day."

"Yeah, you better cut down on it, Jenna. It's not good for the baby," Aunt Gloria reminds me. I nod my head. It was the doctor's orders; I can't take more than a cup a day.

"Anyway, this place is good," Aunt Gloria adds.

"Yeah, he chose this place himself. Devon even got the downstairs suite for mom," I say. "I swear, when they're together, they're like mother and son. I'm totally out of place."

  We laugh together.

"Well, this is perfect for her. I heard that someone's knee is aching again," Aunt Gloria teases my mom.

"Hey, I'm not! I'm still young… young at heart!" We laugh heartily. We're so rowdy even though there's only three of us. Everyone's having fun.

"Oh! That's Captain America!" Elijah shouts, and all our attention snaps to him. "Mommy, it's Captain America!"

Elijah runs towards me and shows me his new toy.

"Daddy bought you this?" I ask him, but of course, I know it's from Devon. He was busy buying presents a few days ago.

"Yes! Daddy's the best!" Elijah shouts and runs back to his daddy. See? You can't separate them. They're always together. When Elijah doesn't have classes, Devon brings him to the office.

My son plays there silently. He knows his daddy is working. Can I wish for anything more? My wishes have come true.

My eyes go to the diamond ring shining on my ring finger. Devon proposed the night before; he made my Christmas perfect!

"You look like the cat that got the cream," my mom says to me. "Elijah and Devon love you, and you also have an additional member. I've never seen you so happy, Jenna. As your mother, I can't wish for anything more."

"Oh, mom. You're the best!" I say to her as I hug her.

"How about me?" Aunt Gloria interrupts us. "Only the both of you? How can you leave me out? Am I not the best auntie?"

"Group hug!" I shout; Devon and Elijah walk towards us, joining our group hug. "Merry Christmas!"

"Merry Christmas!" We all shout in unison.

"Darling, let's have some souvenirs. Pictures would be perfect. You can also post on Social, darling. It will be a hit," Devon says to me as we surround the table, eating.

"I know, my followers on Instagram have been asking me about my Christmas celebration. Is it okay to announce our engagement?" I asked Devon since not everyone likes their private life on display to the public eye.

"Are you kidding me? Of course, Jenna. I'm proud to say that you're my fiancee, and we're having a new baby!" Devon announces. My mom and Aunt Gloria smile and they congratulate us again.

"You're one lucky girl," Aunt Gloria says.

"I'm the fortunate one, Auntie! Jenna's wonderful and I have an additional family," Devon's eyes sparkle when he talks about my mother and Elijah.

Aunt Gloria laughs, "You're a charming man. You should all be happy about yourselves, and enjoy your life. And, most of all, multiply."

We laugh out loud, Devon and I gaze at each other.

"So, let's take the most beautiful Christmas picture ever," Devon says to me. "Do you want to change first?"

I look at myself and wink at him, "Don't you think I'm sexy in this?"

I'm wearing a halter dress that reaches my knee. I look cute and hot at the same time.

"Very," Devon laughs. "Show me that beauty in front of this camera, darling. Give me your best."

I giggle and pose under the huge Christmas tree. My family surrounds us as they watch me take photos. Elijah keeps clapping, jumping up and down. He wants to see the picture.

I pose sexily in different positions. My favorite pose is my ring finger in front of my belly.

"Beautiful, mommy!" Elijah says to me.

"Gorgeous!" Aunt Gloria and mom says at the same time.

"Perfect as usual, darling. The ring in your hand is stunning. Of course, it's a given, I chose it," Devon says with his chin held high. I chuckle and check on the pictures. I pass it around.

"What do you think?" I ask them. Personally, I think that the picture is photoshoot perfect. It's natural and looks glamorous.

  "I think it's glamorous," I tell them.

"Yes, it's wonderful. I'm not a professional, but this is really good," mom says to me as she squints her eyes, staring at the picture.

"Yes, I agree," my aunt seconded.

"So, what are we going to post?" Devon asks as he transfers the pictures to his phone. "I'm going to post this on Social. Maybe the one with the ring?"

"Of course," I reply to him. "This is beautiful. What's going to be the caption?"

"You should put it," Devon hands me his phone.

"Hmmm… #happily engaged?" I ask Devon as I type it. He nods his head.

"Posted!" I tell him. I stare at the picture, and I like it more and more. Then, the likes and comments keep pouring in. They're congratulating me and praising me for my beauty.

"Wow, that's a lot for a few minutes," Devon says. I smile at him and gives him a peck on the lips.

"Let's take a family picture!" Mom announces as she sets the camera. My mom and aunt have big, happy tears in their eyes. They hug me, and Devon tries to envelop us with his hands.

Then, the cute Elijah is tugging on Devon's pants. We have a big, hearty smile presented on the camera.

Through this picture, this moment will last for a very long, long time, and it will be a beautiful memory for the years to come.

  "Merry Christmas!"
