Taurus: A Hearse of a Different Color Page 21

“You know, I’ve often had those thoughts myself... I originally wanted to buy something small by the ocean... but the prices are already so insane. I guess I’ll have to see what my bank account says when the time comes!”

“Let’s see...” Dorothy peered further into the ball. “Oscar?”

  “Yes,” he said.

“Your divorce... you’ve had more than one?”

  Oscar flushed.

“I’m not so good with romantic partners, it seems.”

“I know why your recent marriage failed. I don’t need to be a crystal ball reader to figure that out. Wasn’t your wife an actress as well?”

“Yes, we met at theatre school.”

“And then you got a few TV spots on soap operas and series, and now, you’re one of the main actors used in Scary Haunted Tales... but your wife... ex-wife, she wasn’t finding work.”

  “True.”

“She was consumed with jealousy... went into rages...”

“Yes... it grew... to be too much... I couldn’t work and deal with her emotions anymore. I wanted to... I loved her... I still love her...” His eyes welled up.

“Some relationships aren’t meant to last. Sometimes you meet someone, you learn some lessons from each other, and then move on with life. Just because you love someone, that doesn’t mean you should marry.”

  “I know, I know.”

“And what’s this... someone before her... a younger love? A teen love perhaps?”

  Oscar sighed and stood up.

“Is this a therapy session? I don’t really need one... There’s nothing to be done.”

Dorothy stood up and took his hand.

“No... we’re just looking in the ball. We can stop if you like. I don’t need to know your secrets.”

Oscar paced around the room, his brow knitted up, his fingers snapping at his sides. His agitation was palpable, and Dorothy feared the Black Mass might return.

At last, Oscar sat down on a couch. He patted it.

  “Sit with me,” he said.

  “Okay.”

“This is a story that few know... please, never tell a soul.”

  “Yes.” Dorothy said.

“No reporters, no blogs, no Facebook posts...”

“Yes, yes...” Dorothy said. “I’m not a child.”

Oscar took in a deep breath and then let it out.

“Okay. When I was a teenager, I had this girlfriend. Well, she was a girl and hung around me all the time. She really liked me. It was nearly impossible to go anywhere or do anything without her showing up. There she was. In my face. All the time.”

  “That’s got to be hard.”

“I supposed in many ways it was flattering and of course, teenage boys, a vain actor boy, would like the attention but not be nice about it.”

  “Oh.”

“Long story short as I really don’t want to dwell on this. I got her pregnant. Or so I thought. Or so she said. So, I married her.”

  “Ah! Doing the right thing.”

“But she wasn’t pregnant. She was a liar. A sociopath. Maybe a psychopath. She faked the pregnancy, even faked a birth and said she put the baby in a garbage can. That was the very worst of her mental abuse but there was so much more, physically and mentally. I was finally able to divorce her. And then she killed herself.”

  “Oh, god.”

  “Yup.”

There was silence as Oscar stared at his hands. Dorothy’s head was spinning.

“I’m so sorry you went through all that.”

“It was a long time ago. I’ve been to tons of counselling about it. It doesn’t haunt me as much.”

“Hmmm... but maybe... maybe she haunts you... maybe... maybe she’s one of the active ghosts that’s bothering you.”

“I just know that trouble follows me everywhere... big trouble, little trouble.”

  Dorothy took his hand.

“It’s not that trouble follows you, it’s that you live life to the fullest and take chances... risks. With risk, can come trouble. With risk, can come good times and bad...”

  “It’s always bad...” Oscar sighed.

“Uh... no it’s not!” Dorothy said. “You have a lot. You have an amazing career; you already have fame and fortune and it’s only just begun. Don’t let the darkness of the past diminish your bright shiny future.”

  Dorothy stood up.

“I know... now that I know about your first wife... we can do something to keep your thoughts from being too sad.”

  “We can?”

“Yes. Come sit over here with me on the floor.”

They sat together on the floor. Dorothy held his hands.

  “What was her name?”

  “Kaci.”

“Okay, great. Now let’s think about Kaci. Let’s call her in.”

“I...” One of the crystal balls rolled off the pedestal and then rolled across the floor. Oscar stared at it. The ball flew up and aimed for his head. Dorothy held out her hand and blocked it. The ball fell to the ground, unbroken.

“We don’t have to call her, she’s already here.” Dorothy said. “That’s great, Kaci.”

A cold wind blew through the room. Oscar looked around. Dorothy felt his pulse quicken, and his hands were sweaty.

“It’s okay...” Dorothy soothed. “Kaci, I want to help you find the light.”

The wind blew again. There was a low moaning.

“Kaci, you don’t need to be on this earth anymore. There’s so much more for you in the light.”

Oscar’s grip on Dorothy’s hands tightened. He looked at her expectantly. Several balls floated and then soared towards Oscar. Dorothy stood up and raised her hands at them. They hung in the air.

“Kaci, there’s no need for this. Anything you do won’t fix what has happened. What’s important is that you now move on,” Dorothy called out. “To a better place.”

Dorothy felt the pressure of the balls being pushed by the ghost, but she held strong.

“Go into the light, Kaci. You can see it. It’s right there with you. Feel the warmth?”

The wind blew again, and the balls fell to the ground. Dorothy stood with her hands out. Oscar watched her with wide eyes.

“Go, now. There is peace for you in the light. You will see all that is magic. The pain of your past will finally be gone.”

Dorothy waved her arms and the air stirred. The thickness swirled, and up in the ceiling corners, the shadow people danced. As Oscar looked up to the ceiling, the center became a glowing sphere. Bright and brilliant, yellow and gold warmth poured down. Rays spread around the room.

“Go to it, Kaci. Go now! You’ll see!” Dorothy coaxed.

The wind circled the room again and then was still.

Suddenly, there was a huge explosion and the light crackled and splintered. Rainbows fell like glitter around the room. The air was still and warm.

“Yes! You did it, Kaci! You did it! Peace be with you! Blessed Be!” Dorothy cheered.

Oscar looked at the brilliant light, cupping his hands over his eyes.

“Is that... The Light?” he asked.

“It’s a portal to lead to The Light. Obviously, The Light isn’t in this dimension or even this timeline. But that portal will take her to where she needs to go.”

The incandescent illumination sparkled once more and then closed in on itself as suddenly as it had appeared.

The room returned to normal. Dark and still. The candles had blown out. They sat in darkness.

“Kaci will bother you no more,” Dorothy said as he put her arms around Oscar.

“Thank you,” he said. “Thank you.”

He sat quietly for a moment.

“That was wild. I’m still trying to absorb it all. How did you do that?” He looked up at the ceiling.

Dorothy squeezed him. “It’s my job. Acting is yours. Dealing with metaphysical issues is mine.”

  * * *

Dorothy and Oscar were kissing each other as they rolled around
naked on her bed. After the ghost incident, they had celebrated Kaci’s ascent with a couple of glasses of wine. And now, they were enjoying each other, the worries of the day behind them.

“Oscar?” Dorothy asked as she lay her head against his chest.

  “Yes?”

“Do you like to play games?”

  “Such as?”

Dorothy sat up and then scooted over to the edge of the bed. She reached into her nightstand and pulled out several long scarves. She waved them across his naked chest.

“I want to tie you up and have my way with you!” Dorothy blurted. She kissed his cheek. Oscar blushed.

“Whatever is your desire, is my desire, mistress,” he said. He stretched his arms up. Dorothy set to work tying first one wrist and then the other to the canopy bedpost. He pulled at the ties gently, pretending to squirm.

“Tie me up, mistress. I’ve been a bad boy,” he whispered. Dorothy’s heart raced, her pussy wet as it tingled in anticipation.

“You are a bad boy. And so, you must be tied up and punished,” Dorothy said. She scooted off the bed and set to work tying his ankles to each bedpost. She turned from her knot-making only long enough to tease his cock with her fingers. Once erect, she slipped a condom over it, to prepare for later. Once he was firmly tied up, she stood at the end of the bed staring at him.

“Ah, yes, Mr. Hotshot Movie Star thinks he can just come to town and have his way with anyone he desires...”

Dorothy climbed onto the bed and straddled his chest. She playfully flicked his nipples.

“More, mistress,” he moaned. She pinched the tiny hard buttons, pulling them and squeezing them. He trembled beneath her touch. She crawled up to him until her pussy was in his face. She spread her legs and then spread open her pussy until she felt his hot breath on her flesh.

  “Lick me,” she commanded.

Oscar licked her, long soft moist strokes. Then he began to tongue her clit with repeated little bursts, his tongue aiming in just the right spots.

“Oh, yes,” Dorothy sighed. “Oh, yes, that’s it. Right there...” She enjoyed him tonguing and then sucking on her clit. She was throbbing with anticipation.

Oh, I’m so close to coming already. He’s so cute all tied up like that.

Oscar’s tongue penetrated her vagina, plunging in deep, tasting her deepest, most secret spots. He alternated his movements from fast to slow, from gentle to hard. Dorothy couldn’t help rocking herself against his face.

“Oh, Oscar... oh god...” she panted. Pleasure was building higher inside of her. She thought she would scream and cry and explode all at once. She pressed against his face quicker and harder.

“More, more,” she cried. He hummed as he licked and soon, she was falling over the edge.

“Yes, yes, YES!” she cried. She trembled and shouted and then collapsed over him as her orgasm took hold.

  But only for a minute.

“Ah, yes, my slave. You’ve passed the cunnilingus test but there’s more...”

She hopped off the bed and moved towards his cock which was almost fully erect. She crawled back onto the bed. She took his head into her mouth, swirling it with her tongue, sucking and nibbling while he groaned. She opened her mouth wide and took almost all of him deep into her throat. She moved her head up and down. Oscar squirmed on the bed, moaning his pleasure.

“Oh, yes... Dorothy. You’re the best... oh, yes... yes...”

His cock was slick and wet inside the condom as she moved her mouth and hands up and down until it was even harder.

She felt him quivering, his legs trembled, his face was flushed. She climbed onto the bed and straddled him, taking his rock-hard cock inside of her very slowly. Her slick juices were already running down her legs. She rode him slowly at first, enjoying the sensation of every inch of him penetrating her and then leaving her. She bounced faster on him, using her hands on either side of him as balance.

“Oh, god, yes, Dorothy. Faster!” he cried.

She fucked him hard and fast. She looked at his face, that beautiful face she had seen so many times on her television. Here he was in her bed. She couldn’t help thinking about it all every time they fucked. How impossible it had all seemed only weeks ago. And now here she was, living her dream of fucking Oscar Dominion all tied up in her bed.

“Oh, I’m coming,” she shouted as orgasm crept up on her unexpectedly. She practically screamed, her body throbbing and twitching on him. His cock was even harder as she felt him begin to pulse with his own come.

“Oh, yes... yes!” he called out. “Oh YES!”

They wailed and shouted, Dorothy sliding along him, enjoying every last crashing and then ebbing wave of her climax. Oscar’s body was a sheen of sweat as she slid off of him, and off the bed.

“Holy smokes,” he finally panted as Dorothy began to untie him. “That was the best I’ve ever had.”

Dorothy rubbed his released wrists, making sure the circulation was getting to his fingers. She kissed his hands. He reached for her breasts and squeezed them.

“Beautiful lady, I could fuck you all night.”

  “I hope you do!”

She untied his ankles and massaged his feet while he moaned in appreciation.

  * * *

They spent the next day and part of the night in bed before Oscar had to return to work for another gruelling three days.

Dorothy spent every waking part of her own days daydreaming about Oscar as she worked and went to the gym and did her best to stick to her diet.

She also bought a new outfit to show off the new curves that were taking form after her last few weeks of going to the gym and making love with Oscar.

She wanted to splurge so she first went to Adele’s lingerie shop. The film wasn’t being shot during the day so Adele could run her store during regular business hours. Dorothy bought a vibrant matching green bra and panty set.

Next, she went to another boutique and bought a new spring dress and a new long green hooded cape.

  Perfect for broomstick riding!

She even bought new makeup, eye shadow to match her new outfit and a dramatic black eyeliner that was supposed to last through rain, winter, and swimming pools. She was more interested in it lasting through fog, sea spray and broom riding wind.

Happy with her purchases, she went home and spent the afternoon pampering herself. A long Epson salts bath, a face mask, a manicure, and pedicure and of course, a nap. A nice nap so that she would look fresh and bright the next time she saw Oscar.

  Chapter Seventeen

Queen of Wands: The lusty queen is career-focussed, passionate and intense.

Dorothy and Oscar rode her broomstick in the night sky, over the ocean, across the cove.

“The stars are so bright tonight.” Oscar said. “Or maybe it’s because we’re up so high that the light pollution from earth doesn’t diminish them.”

  “Make a wish!” Dorothy said.

“I wish this night would never end,” Oscar said as he squeezed her waist.

“Me too,” said Dorothy. A pang in her heart made her gasp. A wave of tears threatened to flood from her eyes, but she blinked rapidly and was able to keep them at bay.

I won’t think about him leaving now. I can’t. If I begin to cry, I’ll never stop.

The broom set them down gently by a popular picnic spot on a high cliff overlooking Hermana and the cove. They stepped away from the broom. Dorothy straightened out her new cape and dress. She patted at her hair, hoping it wasn’t in too much disarray. She reached over to Oscar and brushed his tousled hair from his eyes.

“I can’t believe that you’re leaving tomorrow,” Dorothy said staring into his eyes that seemed larger and more soulful in the dim of night, stars glittering in the tears that welled to the surface but didn’t fall.

“I can’t either. But I am,” he said, wiping his eyes. “Boy, it’s windy up there. My eyes are watering like crazy.” He pulled out a tissue and wiped them, then put the tissue back into his
pocket.

“I wish they could finish shooting the rest of the season here,” Dorothy said as she nestled into his arms. He kissed the top of her head.

“I wish I could shoot all my shows here, forever...” Oscar said. “Being with you has been magnificent, this town is amazing, the people so friendly. And you can’t beat the view.”

He walked to the edge of the cliff and stared out in the darkness towards the crashing waves of the ocean. The distant lighthouses flashed across the expanse of the sea, illuminating the thick froth of waves. The stars twinkled above.

“But, it isn’t to be, we both have different destinies...” Oscar said. “I already know that, but it doesn’t make any of this any easier.”

“I’ve enjoyed our days together,” Dorothy said. “You’ve meant a lot to me.”

“More to me, Dorothy. You knew who I was before I got here, but I never knew you at all. And I’ve loved what I’ve discovered.” He pulled her close, pressing his lips against hers.

They kissed, the wind in their hair, the waves crashing below.

  I’m in a romance novel!

Dorothy broke the kiss and led him back from the edge of the cliff.

“It’s safer when we’re not so close to the edge. The wind could knock us over.”

“Agree, my lovely witch,” Oscar kissed her more. “I can’t get enough of you.” His hands roamed her body, squeezing and stroking her flesh. She sighed as he cupped her breasts.

“I can’t get enough of you either.” Tears formed in Dorothy’s eyes. They trickled down her face as they kissed. When they pulled apart, she saw tears on his face as well.

“I’m going to miss you so much,” he said. “You have no idea.”

“I do,” Dorothy said. “I’m going to miss you too.”
