There was a massive breakfast buffet I could smell all the way from the main level. Todd and Lauren continued their quest of waking everyone up, and I physically rolled Luke out of bed. He was pissed. I smiled at him as I dug through my clothes, looking for something to pull on.
“Are you not going to shower?” Luke asked.
“I think I took one last night. I smell like my body wash,” I said.
“You think?”
“If you can remember your nights in Vegas, brother, then you’re doing them wrong.”
Luke rolled his eyes, and it caused me to chuckle as I pulled a shirt over my head. The two of us got ready while I got in all the jabs at his expense that I wanted to. Luke was an easy target, but he knew we loved him. And he got his in every once in a while, too. Especially once we got drinks in him. Luke loosened up with alcohol. Became more talkative. Flirty. More confident around women. Hell, he’d been grinding on a stripper covered in glitter in the last bar we’d all hit before we’d stumbled back to the hotel.
At least, I think she was a stripper.
Wait, that might’ve been Liam who did that.
Fuck me, I couldn't remember.
“Ready?” Luke asked.
“Finally. I'm starving. Let’s go.”
The two of us trekked down to the buffet in the hotel, and I stopped in my tracks. Despite the pounding of my vision, Sam looked amazing. Her tight jeans that accentuated her ass and her loose shirt that covered her luscious tits. It was the perfect “come and get me” outfit without giving everything away. Her jeans had that perfect faded look to them. Those jeans I knew she wore on a regular basis. Every time she bent over, I wished for her shirt to be just a little shorter. I wished for it to slide just a little higher so I could get a peak of her creamy skin.
But it never did, and it only made me want her more. Because Sam wasn’t the kind of girl to give it all away.
Oh, no. She made a man work for her.
And I’d put in any hours I needed to in order to peel that shirt off her body.
Her hair was braided loosely down her back, and a few wisps of it framed her face. She had on a touch of makeup with glossy lips. Enough to make me stare at them before wanting them wrapped around my cock.
Damn it. Sam was a beautiful woman.
“Well hello there, gorgeous,” I said as I approached her. “Mind if I sit next to you?”
“Go right on ahead, Logan. It’s all yours,” she said, motioning to the seat next to her.
She’d be all mine if she would ever give in to my advances. I’d always made it known to her how I felt. How I wanted her. How she enticed me in ways no other woman had. But Sam had never given in. Sam never let me touch her the way I wanted to touch her. The way she deserved to be touched. For the longest time, I thought she was playing hard to get. But the flirting had now become the regular foundation for our friendship.
Though it didn’t stop me from wanting to rip her clothes off and fuck her against every surface I could.
“So, did you enjoy your first night in Vegas?” I asked.
“The parts I remember? Yes,” Sam said with a smile.
“I distinctly remember you pouring back shots like they were water.”
“What? Me?” she asked innocently. “You must be thinking about someone else.”
“Oh, I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure it was you. In fact, I know it was you. Want to know how I know?”
“How do you know, handsome?”
“Because I couldn’t keep my eyes off your lips.”
She giggled, and I watched as her cheeks flushed a beautiful shade of pink.
“Hungry?” I asked as I handed her a plate from the table.
“And thirsty. I need some water before we start today’s adventure.”
“And possibly some coffee,” I said.
“Oh yes, coffee,” she said, her hand to her heart.
“Coming right up, beautiful,” I said.
She blushed again as we walked through the buffet line. I couldn't take my eyes off her. It was the first time in the years I’d known her that she’d been so reactive to my overt flirtations. She was enjoying it. Would this weekend turn things around?
Because if it did, I would make sure to worship her body the way it deserved.
If I could get her alone.
My eyes roamed over her rounded ass while we walked through the buffet line. I was mindlessly putting food on my plate as I took in the swell of her body. The thickness of her thighs. The way they poured into toned calves that flexed in her heels. Heels with booty shorts and a loose little t-shirt.
Sam would be the death of me.
“Todd! How did you enjoy your first night out in Vegas?” I asked as I sat down next to Sam.
I could see Liam staring at me, but I wasn’t giving him the time of day. I was going to take advantage of time with Sam wherever I could get it. I had a feeling he liked Sam the way I did, but so long as I could command her attention, I’d keep it.
No matter what I had to do.
“I think my favorite part was you pulling Lauren off the bar,” Todd said.
“I pulled her off a bar, too? Lauren, what were you drinking last night?” I asked with a grin.
“Hey! It’s not my fault I enjoy dancing,” she said.
“Maybe you could make it your new profession,” I said with a grin.
“I think Todd would like that a little too much,” Sam said.
“Different strokes for different folks. Maybe the rest of the brothers could pitch in and get a pole installed in your place, Todd. You know, for after the honeymoon,” I said.
“Wait, can this actually be a thing?” Todd asked.
We all threw our heads back and laughed as Lauren’s face turned beet red.
“I hate all of you,” she said.
“You love us and you know it,” I said.
“I’m not sure you have any room to talk Logan. I’m pretty sure I recall you grinding with a glittered stripper last night.”
“Wait, I thought that was Luke?” I asked.
“You thought Luke was going to grind on a stripper,” Sam said. “There isn’t enough alcohol in the world to get that man grinding on anything, much less a glittered stripper.”
“But Luke was covered in glitter this morning,” I said.
“Because I had to carry you back to the room,” Luke said.
“Oh, my hero,” I said as I fluttered my eyelashes.
Everyone fell apart in laughter again as we continued to inhale our food. It was good to be together again. It had been years since all of us had come together. Holidays involved maybe three or four hours of us all hanging out, but that was it. Nothing like this weekend would be. We all filled our stomachs with greasy food to soak up the rest of the alcohol, and with each cup of coffee, my head began to feel better. I caught glimpses of Sam every now and again, looking up at me or brushing her leg against mine. I kept drawing in deep breaths to keep my pelvis at bay.
If she didn’t stop soon, we’d be in a lot of trouble. “Is anyone up for a little gambling?” Lauren asked.
“Poker?” Todd asked.
“I’m in,” Luke said.
“Sign me the fuck up,” Levi said.
“Count me in,” Liam said.
“What about you, Logan?” Todd asked. “You coming?”
I watched Sam slide out of her chair and make her way for the slot machines, and there was no way in hell I was going to let possible time with her slide by me.
“Set me up for a few games. But I’m gonna knock off some rounds on the slot machines first. You know, loosen up my lucky streak so I can beat your asses into the ground,” I said.
“You’re the worst at poker,” Levi said with a grin. “You’ll be broke before the end of the fourth game, whether you’re playing or not!”
“Funny guy,” I commented. “You won’t be making jokes when I’m done cleaning you out brother.”
Then I pushed my chair in, t
hrew the rest of my coffee back, and made my way for Sam.
The slot machine beside her was empty, and I was glad for it. I had my small cup of coins, and I smiled as she looked over at me. She snickered and shook her head, then placed one of the coins in the slot and pulled the lever.
“What?” I asked.
“Really? Ditching the Bachelor party for slots?”
“We’ve got all day,” I said. “And tonight. And tomorrow. I figured I could spare some time for you.”
“Oh, how flattering that you give me your spare time,” she said.
“Why? Do you want more than that?”
I looked over at her and found her cheeks blushing again. There it was. That telltale sign. Oh, shit. It was going to be a marvelous weekend. I had my eyes set on the woman I’d have in my bed by the time the weekend was over, and I’d make sure it was a moment she never forgot. I walked around with her while we played up the slot machines, working our way around the casino until we were both out of coins.
“I’m out,” Sam said.
“Wanna go see where the guys are in their poker game?” I asked.
“I’m actually going to go find Lauren and get this Bachelorette party started. Something tells me she went upstairs to take a nap. I’m going to make her a drink and wake her up.”
“That sounds a hell of a lot more fun than poker. I’m in,” I said with a grin.
“Nope. Just Lauren and I today. Sorry, bub.”
“Ouch. Rejected,” I said, a mock frown on my face. Our eyes connected and everything inside of me wanted to pick her up and walk her to the nearest bathroom, pin her against the wall and fuck her senseless until she came around my cock. My hand rose to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear, and she drew in a deep breath like she was trying to control herself.
“See you tonight, Logan,” she said.
And my heart thundered in my chest as she turned on her toes and walked away.
CHAPTER 5
LEVI
All of my brothers already had some chance to spend time with Sam, and I hadn’t had that yet. I hadn’t been able to properly greet her after she’d gotten back from Paris. Though my kind of proper greeting involved stripping her down and throwing her onto my bed.
Nevertheless, this was supposed to be Todd’s Bachelor party. But all I could think about was Sam and those legs. Those lips. That fucking red lipstick she painted onto her pout. Even in her shorts and t-shirt, she called to my dick, stirred up something inside of me that was hard to quell. Sam had always been the hottest girl in my mind, but her being Lauren’s best friend made shit difficult. My sister would kill any one of us if we went after her, but I knew we all wanted her. I knew my brothers wanted Sam as much as I did.
Which was fine. As long as I got to spend some time with her like they had.
And I hadn’t gotten that yet.
We all spent the day gambling and playing slots. I kicked everyone’s ass at poker and made Logan eat his fucking words about winning. Now, everyone was getting ready in their rooms for an evening out, and I was determined to be the first one waiting when Sam came out of her room.
I smoothed my button-down shirt and made sure my face was clean-shaven. Women didn’t like kissing woolly mammoths, and I had every intention of kissing Sam tonight.
And for the rest of the weekend if she’d let me.
Watching my brothers have their time with Sam made me feel out of touch. Behind. Somehow less than them. And just because I was the youngest didn’t mean I didn’t have anything to offer her. But now I had my chance. I made sure I was the first one ready, then I went and knocked on her hotel room door. She was only a couple of rooms down from me. I stood there with my hands in my pockets and heard her padding across the room, but when she opened the door my eyes fell to her body.
She was dripping wet and wrapped in a towel.
My eyebrows rose, and my eyes slowly panned up to hers. Those big, round, innocent blue eyes captivated me. How Sam could appear so innocent and be so enticing at the same time was beyond me. And that type of cat-and-mouse game tugged at my core. I loved women like that. Women who weren’t always exactly what they seemed. When people met Sam, they thought she was a good little girl. Quiet. Soft-spoken. Until she surprised you with her wit, her sarcasm, and her need for a good time.
Sam was like me.
Not afraid to go after what she wanted, no matter the cost.
“Is everyone ready so soon?” Sam asked.
“Nope. Just me so far. Figured I’d come see how you were after getting your ass whooped by slot machines all day.”
“It’s okay. It’s not the first time something mechanical has left me breathless.”
Holy fucking shit.
“You should see your face right now,” she said with a grin. “Come on in. You can sit on the bed. I’m almost ready.”
“You don’t look almost ready,” I said as I stepped into her hotel room.
“It won’t take me very long to get dressed. I don’t plan on wearing much,” she teased, clearly enjoying how red my face felt like it had to be. I sat down on the bed, my chest heaving. Fuck. The image of her with a vibrator between her legs wouldn't stop bombarding my mind. I closed my eyes and dug the heels of my hands into them, trying to erase the thoughts racing through my mind.
But I couldn't.
Her body dripping with water. I bet she looked fucking fabulous in the shower. I could fuck her against the tile walls while hot water battered down on our bodies. I drew in deep breaths as I listened to her humming in the bathroom. I focused on the sound as the image of her naked body fell from my mind. I’d always had a thing for Sam, for as long as I could remember. Every time she came over to hang out with Lauren, I couldn’t take my eyes off her. I couldn't stop listening to her laughter. I couldn't stop eavesdropping on their conversations to see if she talked about me or thought about me the way I thought about her.
But my brothers had always gotten in my way.
I knew they all liked her. It was painfully obvious. Liam thought he kept his looks under control, but his eyes roamed as much as mine did. But none of my brothers were laying their hands on her tonight.
It was my time with her. My time to show her the kind of man she deserved. A man who could rock her in bed, support her in her life, and make her happier than she ever thought she’d be. I’d do anything for that woman.
“Levi?”
“Yeah?”
“Could you do me a favor?” Sam asked.
“What’s up?”
“In my bag, there’s a pair of heels. They’re silver. Can you toss them into the bathroom for me?”
“Sure thing. Give me a sec.”
I searched around for her bag before I started digging through it. I tried to be as cautious as possible with her things, but the more I dug, the more I found things that made my cock pulse to life. Boy shorts. Lacy bras. Flowing dresses with tight waists and silken nightgowns that would make a man like me howl over her curves. Fuck. I was so glad when I found those silver heels because I couldn't take another millisecond to think about her in anything I’d just discovered.
I’d explode in my pants if I gave it another thought.
“Thanks,” she said as I placed the shoes into her hands.
“Need anything else?” I asked.
“Do you know where we’re going tonight? Or is Lauren in complete control of this entire situation?”
“I’m not sure, but I assume Lauren’s got it all mapped out for us. You know how she is.”
“I love her, but it’s annoying. She needs to let things flow. This is her Bachelorette weekend. There’s no reason for her to be planning everything.”
“And again, you know how Lauren is,” I said.
“I know, I know. And if she has fun and she’s happy, then I’m happy for her,” Sam said as she opened the bathroom door. “That’s all that matters this weekend.”
My eyes hit her body, and I couldn't speak. Couldn't breathe. Couldn’
t move. Sam’s long blonde hair was flowing down her back, and her winged eyeliner made her blue eyes pop. Her luscious red lips matched the crimson red dress she was wearing. Tight. Low cut. With her tits shoved up in one of her bras. The fabric of the dress was barely rolled down over her ass, and her silver heels glittered in the light of the bathroom. Her legs were flexed, and her ass was high and tight, and I couldn’t fucking breathe.
I wanted to rip that shit off her and fuck her against the bathroom counter.
“Levi?” Sam asked.
“Yep?” I asked.
“Does this dress look bad or something? I’ve got a couple more I can try on.”
“Nope,” I said. “Looks good.”
She took a step toward me to shut the bathroom door behind her and our faces were inches apart. I felt her body heat radiating against me. I swore I could hear her heart beating in my head. She was stunning. The embodiment of sweet and sexy that made my cock jerk. Fuck. I was standing in front of Sam with a fucking boner in my pants. I shoved my hands into my pockets and tried to adjust myself so Sam couldn’t see. But when she turned her face back to mine and looked up into my eyes, it was over.
I was a goner.
“Sam,” I said hotly.
“Yes, Levi?”
The desire was thick. The lust building between us was insurmountable. I saw her eyes fall to my lips. She wanted it. I wanted it. And she wasn’t moving away from me. Her tits grazed my chest, and I slipped my hand from my pocket, risking exposing how my body reacted to her so I could touch her. I lifted my hand to cup her cheek, eager to feel her skin against mine. Eager to guide her lips to me before I ravaged her body. Eager to know what her tongue tasted like after all these years of wanting her.
But a fucking knock at her damn door stopped my hand just shy of her jawline.
“You ready, Sam?” Logan asked.
“Lauren and Todd just stepped out of their room,” Liam said.
“Come on,” Luke said.
Sam snickered and shook her head, but I was pissed. Of fucking course they’d be out there waiting for us.
Damn it.
Sam stepped away from me and opened the door. Liam and Luke both shot me a look as my face came into view. I ignored their glares and Logan’s playful jabs as I escorted Sam to the elevator. My hand was on the small of her back, signaling to my brothers to back the fuck off. Now that I knew the moment existed, I had every intention of getting my kiss. Of getting my hands on the curves underneath the tight fabric of Sam’s dress.
