7: TRUTH OR LIE?
My name is Keea. I just jumped out of a window, and now I'm on the front porch. I had just watched one of my new friends bleed to death, going to disappear. The sight was horrible.
I suddenly saw Megan (the one who didn't disappear) run out the front door.
"I-watched-the-whole thing!!" She said.
"Lucky you!" I responded sarcastically.
"It. Was. Sogross!" she said quickly. "She disappeared." Then added, an uncalled for, gag.
"I can tell that it was a terrible sight. Anyway, I need to know if she really disappeared or not."
Megan and I walked back to the Band Room. My brother, called The Wolf, was guarding something on the floor.
"Why, I found this."
Wolf stepped away from his post.
Megan gasped.
Katelin was laying on the old floor. A puddle of blood surrounded her. She disappeared for a second, and then reappeared. This happened over and over.
"Surprised?" Wolf said.
I snatched myself out of my thoughts when I heard Megan step forward.
?"Megan-"
"What have you done?!" She cried.
I do not like to be interrupted.
Wolf snarled.
I saw Katelin sit up.?
8: WHAT'S-GOING ON?
I stared wide-eyed at the wolf standing in front of me.
"Ewww!" I yelped.
Blood was surrounding me. My leg and forehead were both bleeding.
Get a grip! I told myself. It's just blood.
I stood up, but my legs buckled underneath me. When I fell, the floor broke! A cry escaped my throat as I fell from the third floor into a huge dining room!
"Wow!" My voice echoed against the bare walls.
A clapping sound came from the kitchen, and then I heard pots and pans banging together. The floor was vibrating-at least that's what it felt like.
I got up, and this time, I didn't let my knees buckle.
I walked underneath the huge, glowing chandelier, twinkling in the dim light coming through the dusty windows.
I pushed open the old doors and stepped into the kitchen.
I wasn't surprised that no one was in the kitchen, but I knew there was something going on.
I silently walked to the counter and slowly reached for a cabinet door, but when I grabbed the handle, it was burning HOT!
I jumped back and blew on my hand to cool it off.
"What's-going on?" My?voice echoed.
A crack of laughter sent my heart into my mouth!
A hand placed itself on my shoulder, then another crack of laughter sent a chill up my spine.
I slowly turned around.
9: THE HEADLESS COOK
I heard a shrill cry come from the room downstairs.
"Keea! Downstairs!"
I knew she was down underneath us, and I knew she was in trouble-or about to be.
I ran down the stairs and into a dining room, and I threw myself through the kitchen doors. I saw her looking at something above her.
"Ahhhhh!" I screamed.
I saw a guy with his head missing!
I ran up behind him, and saw he was wearing a cook's uniform. I grabbed a chair and hit the headless cook on the back, and he staggered and fell forward.
"Let's get out of here!" I gasped.
"I agree!" Katelin said.
We ran out of the kitchen and into the dining room. I could barely see in the dim light, and barely breathe in the damp air.
We made it to the dining room. I almost collapsed. We walked to where we (not Katelin) entered. We were stopped by two not-so-pretty ghosts. I shivered.
"Keea?" I said aloud.
No answer."
"Keea isn't-YEAAAHH!!"
I turned to see Katelin being dragged back into the kitchen.
"YehhhaaAAAH!!!" I yelped."
10: DINING ROOM GHOSTS
So there we were, all three of us, being dragged back into the kitchen. Keea, Megan, and I. I did everything I could to get?away. I wiggled, but their grasp was too tight. I tried jumping over their head like in the movies. I tried reaching up to bite their hand to let go. Nothing worked.
"Hey-AAH!"
We were lift up off the ground.
Just then, I thought of that day when I went to the Haunted Mansion, and about the 'powers', someone-or something-had said I had.
Powers echoed in my brain.
My eyes were blue, but suddenly, my eyes were glowing blue. I watched calmly as ghosts and zombies popped up from the floor of the kitchen, dragging themselves through the tile and dirt. I watched through gleaming blue eyes as Keea and Megan risked their lives on the rickety old second story, and as ghosts ate some of our ghosts, and as goblins appeared from the windows and spewed guts of the opposite side.
"Ahhhh!" Pain struck me when each creature from my side became wounded.
"Ahh!" Again, it happened.
I screamed bloody-murder. It shook the mansion.
I flipped and kicked the ghost that was holding me in place. Its head flew off! I started doing it to them all, and Keea and Megan grabbed me and?that was holding me in place. As they did, the brightness of my eyes and the clarity of my vision dimmed.
I was so exhausted, I fainted.

A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR
This is where I should mention I wrote this when I was, like, eight. I should also mention I will be rewriting this. OR? I'll continue the series with a huge twist, making everything that doesn't make sense, make sense. My brain is already spinning with ideas! There are two more books to this that I had written all those years ago. Check them out if you'd like, and, if you liked those, you'd like a lot of my other, newer, better books. But let's say you didn't like these.
Then you'll definitely be in for a treat if you read one of my 2014 and up stories.
