Allard, we found some weapons in the upstairs bedroom. We found 4 riffles, 3 shotguns, a sawed-off shotgun, 2 handgun’s and a whole lot of ammunition. In the van we also found blood it lit up as soon as the luminal hit it. There were two different places where the blood was found. We swabbed it and are going to run it for DNA. In the shed we found the duffle bag with a bloody zip up sweatshirt, pants that appear to have blood on them and a bloody mask. We found a second set of clothes, a hoodie, mask and dark blue jeans. We found a Colt 45 revolver that has been recently fired. We found two pairs of men’s leather gloves. We are testing both suspects for gunshot residue. We will be testing the blood on the clothing, mask and gloves to see if they match Zack or Lily.

Well the revolver was recently fired and Matias had gunshot residue on his wrist as well as blood. There was also GSR on the gloves and sweatshirt, mask and jeans we recovered during the search. Once we get the DNA results back, we will know we have the right suspects.

“Detectives, the DNA results are in. Zachary Bowers blood was found on Matias’s sweat shirt, gloves and his left wrist. There was also gunshot residue found on the sweatshirt and gloves. We found Zachary’s blood inside the van with some gray matter. Zachary’s blood was also inside the barrel of the revolver, and there were minute droplets on the handle of the gun. Also there was some brain matter inside the barrel of the gun. Matias’s DNA was on the trigger of the gun as well as his fingerprints. We also found some of Lily’s hair and blood inside the van, and on both suspects clothing. The blood on the boots was a match for both Lily, and Zachary. The ballistics results came in and the bullet retrieved from Zachary Bowers car is a match to the revolver. There were small pieces of bone embedded in the slug as well as blood and grey matter that belongs to Zachary Bower. The 45 revolver also matched other unsolved murders of three young females. The victim’s names are Heather Smith, Mary Young and Cynthia Bennington.”
So, Matias and Facundo will be charged with three additional counts of murder.
What about their cell phones computers did you find anything on those?
“No, we believe they may have used a burner phone’s that were not recovered in the search.”

“Yes, they each received payments of $9.999 a few days ago. Also, there was no unusual activity on Zachary or Lily’s computers. No threats, no unusual site visits. Zachary mainly used his computer for homework. He rarely used social med
ia. Lily however had everything public, she even had her home address, phone number listed on her social media sites. You could also see all her locations from the photos she posted online or when she was out and about.”
