The Bad Boy Bull Who Saved Our Marriage Page 4

“Okay. You’re right. I’ll go. Can I at least use the bathroom before I go?”

“Seriously? You’re asking me for a favor right now? I ought to kick your ass and shove you down that fucking toilet.”

“Okay, you’re mad then.” Connor laughed. “Look, buddy, the only reason Christa slept with me was to get your attention. You know that, right? She feels undervalued. Like a second wife. No woman wants that. So maybe you should go and comfort her. Take her somewhere nice.”

“Oh, I get it,” John said with a cocky smirk. “You still want Stephanie, don’t you? Listen, bub, as much as I’d like to say go fuck yourself right now? You don’t stand a chance with her. She hates you more than I do.” John pointed a finger right at Connor’s face. “I guarantee it.”

  “Oh yeah?”

“Yeah. You think I’m shitting you? Go ahead and try your worst. I’m not even the least bit scared of anything happening. You know why? Stephanie loves me. She doesn’t even care—you’re not even on the radar with her. And you just slut-fucked her best friend like a selfish, sadistic, sexist pig. I’m not worried. Oh…and she’s not attracted to Cajun dudes, either. She told me that. So sorry, bud.”

  “Okay then,” Connor nodded.

  “Okay what?”

“What color panties does your wife wear?”

  “Why?”

“Just curious. Whether I score with her, or don’t, I still want to visualize it in my mind.”

“Black,” John said matter-of-factly. “And she’s fucking beautiful. The woman I love.”

  “But not the only one.”

“I love Christa too. Hey, I got two ladies and you don’t. Beedle dee, dee, dee, dee, motherfucker.”

Connor could only laugh, especially as John eye-dueled him as he walked away. John was going to fight to keep everything he had, that was for sure. But Connor knew the best way to win the game was to choose his battles.

Connor followed Stephanie as she walked down the hallway to the bathroom.

“Hey,” Connor said, catching up to her at the door.

Stephanie had a weak smile on her face. “Hey there. What’s up?”

“I see the pipe in your hand. I was wondering if I could have a whiff too.”

He smiled at her. Stephanie’s stressed face seemed to lighten up. She always did have the cheeriest expression when she was just smoking with a bud, and not dealing with the pain of romance.

  “Sure.”

Stephanie let Connor inside the small bathroom and shut the door behind them. “John doesn’t want the pot smell in his house. So I have to smoke in the bathroom.”

“He runs a tight ship, huh?”

Connor and Stephanie took turns lighting up and sucking in the fumes. Stephanie was the more experienced smoker, so she didn’t hack as much as Connor did when he held the smoke in. They both exhaled and giggled.

  “Thank you, ma’am.”

“Wham-bam!” Stephanie joked. “So you and Christa, huh?”

“Well, I think we parted on bad terms, actually.”

  “Really? Why?”

“I don’t know. Maybe she has a secret boyfriend. I sensed that she regretted what we did afterward. I admit I’m not very good at assuring a woman she did the ‘right thing.’ I assume if we both feel something, and do something…” He smiled. “You know, that she’s okay with it, just like I am. But I’m not a fucking mind reader.”

“Hmmmm,” Stephanie said, just before taking another smoke. “I wasn’t aware that she was dating anybody.”

“I guess John is upset at me because I’m disrespecting his house.”

Stephanie shook her head. “I don’t know what his problem is. A lot of people screw around in here and he usually doesn’t care. Suddenly, he’s all Mister Tasteful.”

“Maybe he’s angry for another reason,” Connor said, meeting Stephanie’s eyes and staring. But Stephanie seemed to turn away just as they were about to share a moment.

“He has been so grumpy lately. Sometimes he just lashes out at Christa and I and I sense this hostility about something. But I don’t know what. I think maybe he secretly likes Christa or something? He is always talking about how he’s polyamorous. And then she says, ‘Yeah, me too.’ I mean, I’m not stupid. I sense what they’re thinking.”

  Connor smiled calmly and nodded.

“I think you know what’s going on.”

  “Pardon?”

“I SAID, I think you know what’s going on. You’re playing dumb. Because it hurts.”

“Yeah, I guess so. Maybe playing dumb is my specialty or something.”

“He’s cheating on you. With Christa. That’s the big secret,” Connor said with a straight face.

Stephanie flinched. She looked down and sighed. After nodding quickly, she looked back up at Connor in distrust.

“You know I thought that might be what was happening. And really I don’t even care. If it makes John happy then whatever. At least he doesn’t drown himself in alcohol like usual…”

“No, it’s not okay,” Connor said disapprovingly. “And it’s not what might be happening. I know it. Christa confirmed it.”

Stephanie’s nostrils flared and she frowned, looking downright pissed at Connor.

  “You don’t know that.”

  “I do.”

“Christa promised me. She said, ‘I would NEVER do that to you.’”

  “Well, she lied to you.”

Stephanie’s face went dark fast. Her eyebrows tightened and her voice dropped two notes deeper. “And you’re just the ever opportunist, aren’t you? You score with my best friend and now what? You think telling me all this shit is going to get you another booty call? Fuck you, Connor.”

“Oh, I’m the bad guy? Why? Because I told you the truth? The truth you already knew? Or because I sinned against your horny best friend? Your best friend, who by the way, has no respect for you at all.”

“Stop trying to make yourself the good guy!” Stephanie snapped back. “You come in here into our house, John’s house, and cause all this drama! Things were fine before you came here, Connor!”

Stephanie shoved her way past Connor and walked back into the hallway.

“You think I’m stupid? Is that it? You think I didn’t know? You don’t think I remember all the talks my husband and I had about sex?”

“That’s not what I said,” Connor replied, slowly following her but still enjoying his high.

“I can’t keep up with him,” Stephanie said desperately. “So I give him to other women. I’m in my late thirties, Connor. Sex is not a big deal for me anymore.”

  “I don’t believe that.”

“Well, I’m telling you, it’s true. And no matter what has happened, it’s OUR business. Not yours. You are meddling in a husband and wife’s business. Not to mention getting our friend involved.”

Connor smiled and tilted his head.

  “You think this is funny?”

“Calm down,” Connor said. “I was just making conversation.”

“Yeah, RIGHT. I know what you were thinking.”

  “What was I thinking?”

  “Whatever.”

“Come on, let’s go have another smoke. Chill out. You’re too high-strung.”

“I’m not giving you anymore,” Stephanie said with a sassy headshake. “I only smoke with people I trust.”

“So you don’t trust me because I told the truth? Is that not allowed in your household? Or excuse me, the Dom’s household? Your Master John?”

“It’s not like that,” Stephanie said. “Everyone always says that, but it’s not true. I am my own woman.”

“But you let your husband swing while you sit there and knit like a granny?”

“You don’t have to be an ass, Connor.”

“Come on and have another smoke with me.”

  “No.”

“Why are you being so difficult?”

“You’re just causing trouble and I don’t like
it,” she said seriously.

“Okay, I’m sorry. I’m sorry I came out and said what everyone already knew. I’m on my knees asking for forgiveness.”

Connor bent to his knees and looked up at her. Stephanie stared back down in contempt, but suddenly very aware that his lips were just inches away from her guarded intimacy. She wore jeans around the house with a casual floral pink shirt. But her casual look, together with the fact that she was loyal to John, only made her all the more alluring.

“Get off your knees,” Stephanie said coldly, but with a gleam of naughtiness in her eyes.

“Come and have a smoke with me. Seriously, I need a hit. I’ve been dry too long.”

“Yeah, well…you’re not the only one who’s dry, Connor.”

She seemed to say that with bitterness as if her best days really were behind her. Connor followed her back to the bathroom to take another hit.

After another smoke, they stared at each other and shared a rather absent moment.

“You know you’re very beautiful,” Connor said, trying to wrestle some honest emotion out of the girl.

“Thank you!” Stephanie said, with a rehearsed blush and smile, the same one she undoubtedly gave at parties and picnics, to men, boys, even grannies who pinched her adorable cheeks.

  “Stop deflecting. Accept a compliment.”

She frowned and furled again. “I am accepting one. But I have nothing to give you.”

  “Why?”

  “Because I’m married. I don’t cheat.”

  “Even though your husband does?”

  “That’s his business. Not mine.”

“My theory is that maybe you don’t enjoy sex as much anymore because he doesn’t satisfy you.”

“You’re wrong. He does satisfy me.”

  “In what way?”

“In ways that are none of your business.”

  “He gives good head?”

She blinked and shrugged. “Hey, that’s what works.”

“Going down on a woman does work. But so does a bigger dick.”

“Size doesn’t matter,” she said firmly, shaking her head.

“That’s what all men say. And the women unlucky enough to be with them.”

“I think you’ve smoked enough, Connor.”

“Kiss me,” Connor said, gazing into her eyes and finally finding a piece of her heart.

  “Why would I do that?”

“Something tells me you make all the first moves. You don’t like it when men make the first move. It threatens you. So I want you to kiss me first.”

“Yeah, but the problem is…” She leaned in closer and snarked back at him. “I don’t cheat on my husband.”

“Where is he by the way?”

  “Probably right outside.”

“HEY JOHN!” Connor shouted. “MIND IF I FOOL AROUND WITH YOUR WIFE A FEW MINUTES?”

  Silence.

  “See? He’s gone.”

  “Where did he go?”

“Isn’t it obvious? He’s tending to Christa.”

Stephanie sighed softly, not wanting to give away her losing poker face. Where was John, anyway? Was he really so ignorant of tact that he brazenly disappeared just to go have a heart to heart with his mistress? With no explanation, no excuse? Was Stephanie expected to just play along like a fool?

“Maybe Christa’s upset because of the way you treated her!”

“Or maybe he’s fucking her right now. And he knows you don’t have the guts to call him on it.”

  “You’re right. I don’t.”

She stared at him spitefully, rubbing it in. She was playing John’s game all the way.

Connor looked at her in disappointment. Then, he slowly leaned in closer and whispered in her ear. “Yes. Because even though you do usually make the first move…you secretly love it when guys just take you. And use you. The way you deserve to be used.”

Connor came dangerously close to her lips but stopped short of kissing her.

“Not at all,” she said, flinching and trembling. Her voice even cracked on the last word.

  “Kiss me,” he repeated.

  “No.”

“Then I’m going to kiss you. And you’re going to let me. Because deep down, underneath your armor…you know you want this. You need this.”

Stephanie sighed softly, closing her eyes as Connor again moved in closer to her lips.

“You need this. Because you do still love him. But you need this for you.”

Connor took his time, enjoying the sensation of watching Stephanie shut her eyes in shame. He softly moved his lips to hers and gently sucked her lips in closer to his.

Stephanie exhaled in stress. Her entire body tensed up. Connor finished the kiss, taking a firm embrace and tasting her breath joyously.

He slowly let go, looking into her eyes to what she really thought.

She frowned and slapped him in the face. Damn him for making her feel something.

He looked at her a long moment…seeing her chest rise and fall, her adrenaline peaking. Her breathing became shallow and she looked at him with angry, pleading eyes. The same way they all looked when they realized they hated him…but had to sample his dick to be sure just how much they fucking hated him. Connor’s dick hardened up like a rocket.

She didn’t block Connor when he moved in again. But she did manage to say…

  “Don’t you dare kiss me…”

Right before she turned away from his face, she exposed her neck and shoulder.

Connor obliged and grabbed her by the hips, roughly spinning her around. He shoved her upper body down, leaning her on the bathroom sink.

“Ugh!” Stephanie said, looking at their reflection in the mirror. She watched in huffing disbelief as Connor unbuckled and pulled her pants down.

Connor gripped her voluptuous ass with his strong hands, craving this moment. Touching her every curve. He saved the best for last. Christa was just to fuck with John’s mind. But this time it was all for him.

As her pants fell down her legs, her black panties shined, tightly snuggled in her butt.

“I knew you had black panties. I asked John what color they were.”

“Ahhhh,” she moaned in response as Connor began rubbing her asshole down to her taint and just barely grazing her pussy. She was so wet, the wettest she had been in months. Between the blind hate she had for Connor and the repressed hate she had for her two-timing husband, all she could feel was her body tingling, her face blushing, and her pussy soaking.
