Chapter 9
Trystan Ian Carson-Alexander~
I looked around making sure no one was around. Once I was certain I was in the clear, I knocked on the door. Her voice came through, if a bit muffled, “Yes?”
“Are you alone?”
“Trystan?” Sabrina asked, the surprise evident in her voice.
“What other man would be knocking on your dressing room door on your wedding day?” I questioned.
“Well, let’s see, since you’re not supposed to see me before the wedding, I’d say Julian, Chase, Nick, George, my dad or any one of your random nephews,” she countered.
“Answer the fucking question, Sabrina. Are you alone in there?” She was Sabrina when I was serious, but she was Breana the rest of the time.
“Yes, I am,” she hissed. “Why?”
“Open the door, baby,” I instructed.
I heard her gasp. “Trystan, no! You are not supposed to see me before the wedding. It’s bad luck!”
“Open the door or step aside while I break it the fuck down,” I ordered. I knew what the tradition was, but I wasn’t going to go the next few hours without touching her.
I heard the click of the door lock and I stood there as the door opened and Sabrina stepped aside so I could walk through. I looked back at her as she relocked the door. “You’re not even in your dress, so it’s not bad luck.”
She crossed her arm over her corset clad chest. “Tradition says-”
“Fuck tradition,” I snapped. “Luck has nothing to do with how long our marriage is going to last. I was never planning on ever letting you go and a ridiculous superstition isn’t going to affect that.” If there’s one thing I learned from Uncle Julian, it was to hold on tight to the person who soothed your soul.
“Trystan, what are you doing here?”
The edge of my lip lifted and I couldn’t control the cocky look that took over my face. “Why do you think I’m here, Breana?”
Her eyes rounded to the size of dinner plates. “No! Trystan Alexander, just no! You are not going to ruin my hair and makeup or my underwear before the wedding.”
Another thing Uncle Julian taught me…well, all my uncles taught me…never let your woman forget that you’re the man in the relationship. “I promise to leave your hair and makeup alone. I can’t make any promises about your underwear though.”
“Trystan, please! Your entire family and mine are roaming all around here. Any one of them could knock on the door at any minute.”
I huffed. “I can’t speak for your family, but I can guarantee you mine are all busy fucking each other.” She eyes got even bigger at my statement. “You think I got them all private dressing rooms because I’m fancy like that? I got them all their own dressing rooms so they’d be too busy with each other to come bothering us.” I had no illusions about how the men in my family felt about their wives.
“Trystan…” she whispered.
I walked up to my beautiful bride and took her face in my hands. “In a couple of hours I’m going to make you mine forever in front of all our friends and family, Breana. It’s going to be the most perfect moment in my life. But unless you want me to bend you over and mount you in front of said friends and family, you’ll let me in your sweet pussy now, because I can’t wait until tonight, baby.”
“I love you, Trystan,” she proclaimed.
“I love you more, Sabrina.” And I proceeded with showing my bride just how much.
Chapter 10
Teresa Emilia Alexander~
The wedding was going to begin in less than an hour, and here I was, staring down most of my children like the reckless, sex crazed fiends they were. Never mind that they were almost knocking on 50’s door, but these nine (it’s really ten, but I was giving the bride a break since it’s her wedding day) acted as if they were still horny teenagers.
They stood before me all lined up with their heads bowed. “Did you all really think I would think it was just a random coincidence that your gowns are all wrinkled in the same area and in the exact same fashion?”
Chase jerked his head up and pointed a finger at Trystan. “It’s all his fault, Momma. He’s the one who got us all private dressing rooms. I mean, really, what else could we do?”
The girls wisely kept quiet, but their significant knuckleheads started mumbling in agreement with Chase. “You could behave properly. That’s something you men could have done,” I pointed out.
Trystan decided to defend himself. “Hey! I didn’t force any of you to drop your drawers. I was just trying to be a gentleman and make sure the women had the privacy they needed to get ready.”
“Trystan Alexander,” I chastised. “Don’t think that just because it’s your wedding day I won’t pop you one! Sabrina is lucky she’s the bride or else she’d be lined up right next to you.”
George chuckled behind me when Trystan tried again. “Awe, come on, Mom! What do you expect when they,” he pointed up and down the line, “are the ones who raised me? It’s really their fault for setting such a poor example during my young impressionable years.”
It was so hard to control my facial expressions when out came a chorus of shock and threats. And even though I knew he was just trying to play me, the boy did have a point. He never stood a chance against Kane, Chase, Nicholas and Julian.
My sweet, sweet psychotic Julian.
“Why you little…” Chase caught himself just in time.
“You little twerp!” Quinn exclaimed.
“I’ll show you impressionable, you piss-” Julian threatened.
“You’re lucky it’s your wedding day,” Isabella pointedly stated.
“Wait until there are no witnesses,” Nicholas promised.
“You’re lucky I like Sabrina and I don’t want to ruin her wedding day,” Avery huffed.
“They’ll never find your body,” Kane murmured.
“Better have your will in order,” Kam uttered in support of Kane’s threat.
“Enough!” I can’t believe these are actual grown-ups. “I sent all the kids to go find their seats, and what I’d like is for you group of sex fiends to pretend like they have respectable parents and pretend as if we are all just helping Trystan get ready.”
“Momma…”
I held a hand up to silence Kane. “All eight of you sex addicts head on over and get seated for the ceremony. I want to have a word with Trystan.” There was a mix of smiles and smirks and a ‘someone’s in trouble’ as they turned and walked in a single file out of the groom’s dressing room.
I waited until George closed the door behind him before addressing my dear, sweet Trystan. “I know you and I know what you did and why you did it, young man.”
“But Mom-”
I smiled down at this boy who is mine no matter what DNA said. “Trystan, I hope you always fight to be with Sabrina the way you did today. Just like all my other boys fight for their wives to this day,” I encouraged. He threw his arms around me and I hugged him back. “Let’s go get you married, sweetie.”
I followed Trystan out and watched as he took his place at the altar. He stood tall and proud as the music started and the bridesmaids were making their way down the aisle accompanied by the groomsmen. As I stood back and watched all my babies take their places, I thanked God that Sabrina chose family over friends for the wedding party. When I asked her why our family and not hers, she had simply stated that she wanted her wedding blessed by real genuine lasting love.
Looking at my family, the girl clearing knew what she was talking about. I will leave this earth one day, but I will be leaving it knowing all my children have known the miracle that is true love.
What more could a mother ask for?
Epilogue
And they all lived happily ever after! Even the children and the children’s children!
The End.
