  Surrender.

There was no decision to be made. She had thought there would be. She flowed into his arms and wound her own about his neck. “You made us think we had lost you,” she breathed. “Brody, we died.”

“I know,” he whispered and kissed her.

It was the sweetest kiss Taylor had ever tasted. She forgot to breathe. She forgot everything but that Brody was holding her and kissing her, when she had thought she would never taste his kisses again.

Then Brody pulled away from her. Taylor blinked and opened her eyes.

It wasn’t Brody doing the pulling. Veris turned him to face him and gripped his face. “Next time, you fucking clue us in.” He kissed him, his big hand sliding into Brody’s hair and holding him steady.

Taylor pressed her throbbing knuckles to her chest, as her heart did a little somersault. Her body pulsed as she watched the two men she loved sharing the most intimate of touches.

Veris broke the kiss, breathing even harder than before. He held out his hand. Taylor took it. She glanced over her shoulder at Marit and the twins. “Marit?”

Marit waved her away. “I’ve got this,” she said.

Veris found another soft gully between the salt grass dunes and turned to pull Brody back to him. He hadn’t let go of either of their hands as they walked through the maze of sandy paths. Now he let Taylor’s hand loose so he could grip Brody’s tee shirt and pull him even closer as he thrust his tongue into Brody’s mouth.

Taylor’s very human nerve endings stung with the intensity of the pleasure coursing through her as she watched them. Her eyes were wet, too. She dashed her hand across them and ignored the dampness.

Veris’ grip on the tee shirt intensified. The shirt gave a soft sigh and tore from the shoulders.

Brody flexed his shoulders. His chest rose and fell. “Show off.”

Veris tossed the rags away and gripped Brody’s jeans. He glanced at Taylor. “We’ll jump back to the bedroom.” He flexed his arm. The jeans separated with a low ripping sound, the side seams parting.

Brody’s cock was upright, throbbing with blood, the veins thick. Veris wrapped his hand around it with a low sound of pleasure and stroked.

  Brody gripped his shoulders, groaning.

Taylor moved closer, her clit pulsing. Brody gripped her wrist and pulled her between him and Veris and kissed her. As he did, Veris removed her clothes the same way as he had removed Brody’s. He tore them from her.

The first of the evening breeze brushed her naked skin. She shuddered and sighed into Brody’s mouth. His hand stroked her hips and pulled her against him. His cock was heated and thick between them. His kiss didn’t end, not even when Veris cupped her breasts from behind and she gasped into Brody’s mouth.

Veris teased her breasts, stroking the nipples and tracing around them. His cock nestled between her ass cheeks, driving her mad with the brush of his satiny flesh. Taylor shuddered and moaned between them, her pleasure building. She pushed her hand between her hips and Brody’s and gripped his shaft.

Brody at last released her mouth, with deep moan. He shook his head. “I will fumble this. It’s been too long and it’s too intense.”

“There’s always next time,” Veris said. His voice rumbled against Taylor’s shoulders.

Brody’s face shifted. For a moment, remembered pain showed. Then he nodded. “Yes, next time. For now, though…” He picked Taylor up, his hands around her waist, and laid her on the sand. It was warm and soft beneath her. Brody settled over the top of her, his cock finding her pussy and sliding a little way in. He paused, looking down at her. “I want to savor, as much as I can.” He pushed a little deeper and halted again. Then another small fraction of an inch. His shoulders flexed and he closed his eyes. “Damn it,” he breathed and rammed the rest of his length into her, with a shudder and a groan.

Taylor moaned, too. Having him inside her was glorious. She reached for his shoulders, to encourage him. Brody didn’t need encouragement. He thrust with hard, desperate little movements.

Veris stood over them, his cock in his hand. “This looks familiar,” he said, his voice hoarse. He moved around behind Brody and settled over him, a hand on his shoulder, too.

Brody choked. “Dear Christ…” he breathed and groaned as Veris pushed into him, his whole body quivering. “The top of my head will come off.”

“We can fix that,” Taylor whispered.

“We can fix anything,” Veris added. He worked his body against Brody’s. Brody’s hips shifted. He thrust with a helpless shudder, and grew taut, as his climax raged through him.

He closed his eyes as Veris thrust heavily, his body shifting against Taylor, until Veris also came with a harsh groan.

Brody looked over his shoulder. “Give me room, for a minute.”

Veris slapped his shoulder. “Romantic to the last.” He moved out of the way.

Brody smiled and lifted Taylor from the sand, his cock sliding from her. He flipped her onto her hands and knees and his arm snaked around her waist. With a quick movement, he rolled her over, so they were laying on their sides, her back against his.

“Join us, Northman,” Brody told Veris.

Veris’ smile was heated as he settled in front of Taylor. Their legs tangled. Veris settled his hand on Taylor’s hip. His eyes were very blue as his gaze shifted from Taylor to Brody. “This reminds me of something, too.”

“Jordan,” Taylor whispered, her body tightening as she remembered the occasion.

“I’ve been thinking a lot about that jump,” Brody said. “How close we came to losing everything.” He reached over Taylor and patted Veris’ cheek. “It was your fault, that time.”

“I guess it makes us even,” Veris said, his voice steady.

Brody shifted against Taylor. She could tell he had shook his head. “I’ll never be able to make up for this. Which is as it should be.”

Veris’ hand on Taylor’s hip drew her toward him. He lifted her thigh over his. “In Jordan, I was behind Taylor, so you’re wrong. Again.” His grip tightened as he slid into her with a single smooth stroke. She gasped.

Brody pushed up against her ass. He nudged inside her, separating the tissues and held still as she adjusted around him, then pushed deeper. Taylor moaned, her eyes closing.

“I love watching that look on your face,” Veris whispered. “As we take you together.”

Taylor’s breath shortened down to little pants. Like Brody, she wouldn’t last.

Brody adjusted his grip on her waist. “When we’re like this, I can feel both of you against me. Taylor squeezing me and you, right against me. I would stay here forever, only my heart couldn’t take it.” His cock quivered and he thrust.

Veris matched his rhythm, his eyes narrowing.

Taylor fell apart. The feeling of fullness and possession was unique—nothing else in this world was like the two of them taking her together. She was stretched and teased and stroked inside and out.

She came with a scream which tore at her throat. As she came, Veris bent forward and buried his fangs in her neck. Brody’s pierced her shoulder, right beside Veris’ cheek.

It was too much. It was her head which exploded. Black depthless nothing washed over her, highlighted by the pulsing of her body as the pleasure coursed through her.

She was still between them, still possessed by both of them, when she returned to consciousness. Veris smiled. “Welcome back.”

Brody kiss the nape of her neck. They had already healed the bite marks. The skin still tingled. “Mmm… The sweetest of wines.” He lifted himself up on one elbow and turned her chin so she could see him and kissed her lips. “Just in case you were in doubt, I love you, Mrs. Gallagher-Gerhardsson.”

“Good thing you married me, then, huh?” She held up her left hand, so he could see the green and red locked-together rings.

“You’re still wearing it?” Brody asked, shocked.

Veris groaned. “For a vampire, you have the shittiest observation s
kills, Celt.”

“I’ve been busy wrestling with time-stopping guilt, Northman, so take a pill.” Brody’s expression sobered as he looked at Taylor. “Really? You wear them still?”

“I took them off for a while,” Taylor admitted. “When I thought I had lost Veris, too. Veris made me put them back on. He put them on my finger. Both of them.”

She looked back at Veris. He was watching Brody, a tiny furrow between his brow, not speaking.

Brody reached over Taylor and slid his hand around the back of Veris’ neck. He stroked Veris’ jaw with his thumb. “And I love you, too, you mangy old magnificent soul.”

Veris drew in a breath and let it out. Taylor spotted a glittering in his eyes before he shook his head and said gruffly, “Nope, this is all wrong. This is not how we did it in Jordan. Brody, move your lazy ass. We have a lady to take care of.”

Brody grinned, his black eyes dancing. He kissed Taylor, then moved as ordered.

How to make a big difference!

  Reviews are powerful.

Authors like me, without the financial muscle of a sleek New York publisher backing me, can’t take advertisements out in the subways and billboards of the world.

On the other hand, New York publishers would kill to get what I have: A committed and loyal group of readers.

Honest reviews of my books help bring them to the attention of other readers. If you enjoyed this book I would be grateful if you could spend just a few minutes leaving a review (it can be as short as you like) on the book’s page where you bought it.

Bannockburn Binding, Book 1, Beloved Bloody Time series.

Time is theirs to keep. But it comes with a price

In the early 23rd Century, vampires learned how to travel back in time, and created a time-tsunami that threatened life as we know it, until they corrected their mistake. They created the Chronometric Conservation Agency, which is tasked with preserving history and therefore protecting humanity’s future. The Touring arm of the Agency offers trips back into the real past, with vampire guides, called travelers.

When Natalia (Tally) Marta, vampire and traveler, takes her client to visit the siege of Stirling Castle in 1314, she is caught and held hostage for ransom by Robert MacKenzie, a Bruce clansman. Rob finds himself drawn to the wilful, stubborn and very different English lady he has captured and the relationship becomes an intimate, highly-charged sexual pairing. Swiftly, Tally and Rob realize their bond is more than sexual, that the emotions stirring their hearts are true.

Christian Lee Hamilton, vampire, one of the last true southern gentlemen, and Tally’s ex-lover, knows the 1314 time marker enough to jump back and help Tally return home. His arrival at Bannockburn adds complications, for Christian finds himself drawn to Rob MacKenzie as much as Tally is. But neither of them can stay in the past forever. To do so means certain death.
