The Wild Child Page 16

  “Yeah, I know.”

Uncle Jalero shook his head with a grin on his face. “Niece, stop hating.”

I animatedly placed a hand on my chest. “Definitely not hating. Merely stating. And don’t think that you’re about to go out and cut up too much. Tammy is my fav and I gotta look out.”

He cut his eyes at me. “Alright, lil’ girl. Don’t start that snitching shit. Cause I got the biggest trump card and you don’t wanna go there.”

I arched my brows. “And what’s that?”

  He smiled. “My brother Jahrein.”

  ***

“Honey, honey. I can see the stars all the way from here. Can't you see the glow on the window pane. I can feel the sun whenever you're near. Every time you touch me I just melt away—"

“Here,” I spoke into Jeremy’s ear, as I handed him an ecstasy pill. Gloria had slid them into my palm and I was now sharing the love.

Back in Houston, I’d popped a few pills at a few parties. The white kids back in high school kept the narcos and X on deck. I also happened to know that Jeremy would indulge from time to time. Hell, he’d often give me a few of his mama’s Xanax and we’d get high together. So, I wasn’t surprised when he tossed the pill into his mouth and chased it down with peach Cîroc.

We were in the middle of Elevate Lounge, which was in a high-rise building, overlooking the city. The place was posh and chic. Therefore, my crew came through dripping sauce. Gucci was the designer for the night and I’d insisted on choosing everyone’s ensemble, personally, taking a move right out of my mama's playbook. Me and my bae matched perfectly. We both wore black Gucci jackets with the red and green rims. Of course, Jeremy had on black denim jeans, Gucci belt, and sneakers. I’d slickly worn my jacket zipped up, until we reached the club. I then revealed my bikini halter top underneath the jacket, which meshed well with my black jeans, red Gucci belt, and stilettos. My hair was bone straight with a part down the middle. I’d kept it simple with the accessories, wearing only diamond studded hoop earrings, one of Jeremy’s gaudy pieces and chains, along with a personalized Rolex watch flooded with diamonds that Jeremy copped for my birthday. My makeup had been done up by one the best in Hollywood, and nobody could tell me shit.

To say that I was enjoying life in Los Angeles would be an understatement. I felt like I hadn’t been living back in Houston. No, I couldn’t say that there was nothing to do back home, but my daddy kept me on a short leash. Then him knowing everybody every damn where definitely didn’t help. Unlike my brother and cousins, my daddy’s street fame worked against me. My daddy had deemed most places not good enough for me, and he’d lose his shit if I’d stepped foot outside of what he deemed safe. Yes, Jahrein Sr. was known everywhere, even out in Cali, but it was different. He didn’t have a million eyes on me, so I could fly free.

Having previous connections in L.A. through my daddy were beneficial as fuck, I can’t lie. He knew a slew of rappers, not to mention my Uncle Kevin had a record label. So, I was familiar with some of the hottest rappers around. Growing up, it had been cool to know them, but now…I could actually party with them. Tonight, there were several in the building and some were literally in my section. They were popping bottles with me, as the cameras flashed, making me feel important. I was all smiles, while concluding that this was the fucking life!

“Bitch, it is super lit in here,” Josairah spoke in my ear.

  I nodded with a smile.

  “And your girl…what’s her name?”

I arched a brow. “Gloria?” I tried to stifle a grin. Josairah was a low-key type of petty. She'd met Gloria before I’d stepped onto the scene, but refused to acknowledge that for whatever reason.

“Yes, Gloria. All these niggas in here and she’s all in fucking Jah’s face. The fuck is that about?”

I hunched my shoulders. “Don’t ask me. I tell you all the time. You see some shit, check some shit. That simple. We cool and all but that hoe knows not to play with me. I’ll have somebody waiting outside of her house, if she even glances at Jeremy too long.”

Josairah’s pretty face crinkled in confusion. She was my girl, but I wanted her to learn to cut up sometimes. It was necessary. Sometimes bitches liked to test boundaries and it was up to the guy to shut that shit down. And me…I was to be respected at all times, so if mine didn’t check a bitch, then I was checking his ass off the rip.

“Baby I can hear the wind whip past my face. As we dance the night away. And boy your lips tastes like a night of champagne. As I kiss you again and again and again and again—"

Focusing on my boo, I pressed our bodies together. “This is my shit, right here.”

Eyes half mast, he gazed down at me, causing a chill to inch down my spine. He was so damn fine that it was hard to put into words. Everything from those thick, silky brows and lashes to the wavy hair I was sure that our kids would inherit one day, had me going. The chain around his neck was gleaming, as he put any famous rapper in the vicinity to sleep. And he was all mine!

Feeling the love…or perhaps the ecstasy, pour from my heart, I had to sing to him, even if I could hardly carry a tune. “Jeremy, baby, it's you. You're the one I love. You're the one I need. You're the only one I see. Come on baby it's you. You're the one that gives your all. You're the one I can always call. When I need to make everything stop. Finally, you put my love on top!”

My hands were crisscrossed behind his neck, as he clutched my ass with both hands.

I giggled. “Alright now. Don’t say nothing if my brother or uncle tackles you down to the ground.”

He licked his lips. “I aint concerned.”

Smoothly, I eased my hand into his jeans, gripping his dick. “How about now?”

“It feels like you want me to take you home and fuck the shit out of you.”

While jacking him off, I tucked my lips into my mouth. “You promise?”

A few hours later, his words were brought to fruition, as Jeremy had me hemmed up against the wall on our balcony. It was five in the morning, and crazily there were still people hanging in our apartment, partying. However, we didn’t give a damn. Jeremy’s jeans and boxers were still at his ankles as he drilled the big fat dick into me. I held the back of his head, as I shoved my tongue down his throat.

“Ummmm,” I moaned, while my legs were wrapped tightly around his waist.

We could both hear his gliding through my gushiness.

“Damn,” he grunted. “Why is this pussy always so good? Huh, Jhyrah?”

  “Cause it’s you in it.”

“Cause it’s me, huh?” he huffed, as he slammed his dick into me.

  I nodded.

“That’s how it’ll always be, right? Tell me that you’ll never give my pussy away.”

My head fell back, as my toes curled. “I’ll never give your pussy awaaaaaaay.”

“You fucking better not,” he breathed, before attacking my neck.

My eyes rolled into the back of my head, as I decided that this was my best birthday yet.

The atmosphere at the Rose Bowl stadium was nuts. The damn football fans were going crazy, as Jeremy scored his fourth touchdown in the second quarter. Yes, my boo was killing it, and I was so proud. He was the superstar of the team, as all his opponents seemed more like armatures while playing against him. He couldn’t be stopped. Therefore, I was there cheering him on, as any great girlfriend would, while trying to conceal the fact that I was muthafuckin’ tired.

Time management wasn’t my strongest suit and I was paying for it, right then. The late-night fucking and hanging out was rapidly catching up with me. Seemingly, overnight, me and Jeremy had become the it couple. There wasn’t a party around that we weren’t invited to. Unlike several of his teammates who were in relationships, Jeremy was very vocal about our relationship. Those other cats usually wanted to keep their girlfriends off the radar, while they lived it up. Jeremy, however, loved for me to be right by his side. Therefore, we were commonly known as one entity,
as people followed us on social media to keep up with our latest shenanigans. Although, Jeremy didn’t receive payment for playing football yet, our popularity and social media platform was allowing us to cash in. From club appearances to endorsing online products, we were collecting checks due to our meteoric rise. Things had become so lucrative that my mama, who’d been having great success in managing, was now our manager. She was also helping me brand myself, as well as assist me with starting my own eyelash company. Unquestionably, I welcomed everything great that was happening in our lives, but I would be lying if I didn’t admit that it all could be a little overwhelming.

Then with everything we had going on, people were insisting upon us creating a YouTube channel to allow fans further into our private lives. They wanted us to vlog, the whole nine, but I wasn’t quite ready for that. It was one thing for people to dote on what they believed our love to be through pictures and one-minute video clips. However, filming us daily was a little bit too intrusive for me. Yes, YouTube was profitable, but it didn’t come without a price to pay. Monetizing our love couldn’t be healthy, therefore I wanted to protect what me and Jeremy shared. It was much too special to compromise. Nevertheless, we’d become socially elite within a short amount of time, leaving my head spinning.

Standing up in the stands, I wore tight distressed denim blue jeans, along with Jeremy’s specially-made blue and gold UCLA jersey, which revealed a nice portion of my stomach. I wore a pair of comfy Air Max’s, which matched my ensemble perfectly. Rocking my signature deep side part, my hair had been done up in an array of soft curls, giving me a frilly look.

“Jhyrah, your man’s killing it, girlfriend,” Jennifer, one of Jared’s freaks, offered, as she eased by.

I didn’t bother acknowledging her, as I hated when white chicks called me girlfriend. It was condescending to me, as she assumed that she was speaking my language with that bullshit.

“OMG, Jhyrah, I know you’re proud,” Julie, some Oreo black chick, expressed, as she tapped my shoulder.

I nodded with a yawn, struggling to keep my eyes open.

“Friend, wake up,” Gloria urged, a she shook my shoulders.

I pushed her hands off me, as I yawned again. “I’m trying, man. I don’t know how the hell Jeremy does this shit.” It was weird that Jeremy was always so energetic. Even after playing ball all day, he still could go rounds in the bedroom. I was always down to fuck, but I’d been exhausted, lately. Therefore, I was low key hoping that he’d be too tired, and that was unheard of for me.

“Well, I’m like Kevin Gates. I don’t get tired,” Gloria commented, as she twerked a little bit.

I shook my head with a smirk on my face. It was true. Gloria never seemed tired. She was always so energetic and bubbly. “Well, everybody can’t be you. I eat meat and shit, and that’s not changing. I’m from Texas, baby.”

She gave me a sneaky grin. “Oh, I eat plenty of meat. Just not the kind that you’re referring to.”

I giggled, before realizing that the game was going into half-time.

“No, but seriously,” she cleared her throat. “Let’s go to the car. I need a smoke break.”

Glancing out into the field, I made eye contact with Jeremy. As always, he blew me kiss, giving me goosebumps.

“Jhyrah,” Gloria uttered. “Are you coming?’

  “Uh, yeah, yeah, let’s go.”

Together, we headed to the parking lot. Along the way, we were stopped too many times to count. Mel was doing his thing as well, but everyone was mostly singing Jeremy’s praises. Once we reached Gloria’s Toyota, we slid in, and she wasted no time firing up.

I yawned for the umpteenth time, frustrating my own damn self. “God, please, just give me a burst of energy. I wanna go home and crash and burn so bad.”

Gloria tried to hand me the blunt.

“Nah, I’m good. That’ll really put me to sleep.”

She nodded. “You’re right, you’re right.” she dug into her console, producing a small baggy.

  I frowned. “Is that cocaine?”

Placing the blunt in her ashtray, she nodded again. She then used the sharp nail on her pinky finger to dig into the baggy, scooping up some powder. With absolutely no shame, she snorted that shit up her nose.

I could front and say that I was surprised but I wasn’t. Back in Houston when I did attend parties, there were a few white kids getting their noses dirty. However, L.A. was a completely different story. I could hardly name anyone who didn’t indulge. And contrary to the cautionary tales I’d heard growing up, I knew none of these people were cracked out. They’d do their thing here and there, get high, and live life.

For a second, I thought about how tired I’d been lately. Yeah, I’d pop the X pill occasionally, but with that you never knew what you were going to get. The pills were hits and misses, but I’d watch people snort a few lines and knock out their entire assignment work load. Shit, all the models did it. And I knew that nothing ever did me. I always did it. My mind was strong like that.

Throwing caution to the wind, I decided to say, “Fuck it. Let me try it.”

  Jeremy

After winning the game tonight, I was floating on a natural high. We’d celebrated like a muthafucka back in the locker room, before heading out. Although, I was hyped, I kinda expected shit to wind down once I made it home. I knew that Jhyrah had been exhausted earlier at school, therefore, I was willing to let her sit this night out. However, the minute we stepped into the crib, she was all over me.

Wasting no time, we headed to the shower, and lathered each other with soap. She thoroughly washed me, before dropping to her knees and hungrily taking me into her mouth. I found myself holding the shower wall as she made my knees weak. I mean, she was going in, not caring that her freshly done hair was now soaked and wet.

“Got damn,” I gasped, as I gazed down at her. “Why you gotta be so nasty?”

  In response she deep-throated me.

“Fuuuuuck,” I bit my bottom lip. “You showing out tonight. What, you want that new Louie bag? Tell me.”

She continuously took my down her throat, as I curled my toes, experiencing unspeakable pleasure.

“Damn, Jhyrah,” I breathed. “I don’t know what the fuck you did to be going hard like this, but whatever it is…keep doing that shit. Keep doing it.”

  Chapter 15

  Jhyrah

“Watch me, watch me walk through. I done made a few bans on a walk through—”

The club was rocking as they jammed a slight throw back. I was feeling it, as I waved a gold bottle in the air. I was the shit in a champagne colored cat suit. My hair and make-up were glammed up, as I showed Hollywood how girls from Houston popped it.

Rich Homie Quan was in the building, and was rapping over his own song, as he was posted up near the deejay booth. The scene was crazy. He’d invited me, Gloria, and a few other chicks into his section, and we’d been popping bottle after bottle.

I was hyped when my favorite part of the song came on. “Have your people tell promoters that I’m coming. Park me in the front. Leave the shit running. Here’s a hunnid. What up? If your bitch like a coin you better call it, nigga. She got a thang for a big dick ballin’ nigga.”

“What that nigga said, sis?” Gloria spoke into my ear.

“We love them big dick ballin’ niggas!” I boasted, being silly, while doing a light twerk.

  “Yessss, bitch!” Gloria praised.

I can’t lie. We’d done a few lines in the car and that shit intensified this partying shit. I was dancing through every song, while keeping it cute.

“Friend,” Gloria spoke in my ear. “Here comes somebody who’s been dying to meet you.”

“Huh?” I glanced around in confusion. “What are you talking about?”

Just then, a super handsome nigga approached us. His milk chocolate complexion was smooth. His fade was sick with the spinning waves. His thick eyebrows spread across his face like eagles’ wings. Had high cheekbones like T
yson Beckford or somebody. He had what I called a grown man’s build, which meant that he was far from fat, but definitely not skinny. His broad shoulders made me think that a bitch could hump his face while he stood up with no problems. I had to shake my head for even having those thoughts, because I was indisputably taken. However, I couldn’t deny his exquisiteness. Nigga was iced out, while rocking Givenchy, looking like a fucking snack.

“I’m talking about him. That’s Dorian Foster. He plays for USC. He has the biggest fucking crush on you.”

I cut my eyes at her. Yes, I found the dude attractive, because I’m fucking human. I know that Jeremy finds other chicks attractive, but I’d lose my shit, if one of his boys pulled this type of shit. Whatever that nigga felt wasn’t for me to know. I wasn’t cheating on Jeremy and even pretending that I was open to it was a no-go. That wasn’t me and she should’ve known that.

“Gloria, bitch, why would you tell me about this nigga liking me—” I got out before I was interrupted.

“What’s up, Glo?” ole boy questioned with a snarky grin on his face.

  “Heeey,” she sang cheerfully.

“And how are you, Ms. Jhyrah? The prettiest girl in the city.”

I placed a hand on my chest. “You know me?”

“Nah, not personally, but I’m definitely a fan.”

  I frowned. “A fan?”

“Hell, yeah. Who don’t know the finest freshman around? You’re the talk of the town, baby girl.”

I poked out my bottom lip. “Oh, okay. Well, tell me something. This is news to me, for shit sure.”

He chuckled. “Damn, your country accent is sexy as fuck.”

“Country?” I giggled. “You got me fucked up.”

He smiled. “They said that you have a little smart mouth, but it’s nothing that I can’t handle.”

I narrowed my eyes. “Who is they?”

He casually shrugged. “People. But never mind that. Can we exchange numbers? I’d love to take you around the city. Experience the city through a real L.A. nigga.”
