Undercover Omega: Billionaire Alphas Book 2 Page 16

by Richmond, Skye R.

“Alright, Riley, the baby is almost crowning. Are you ready?” Dr. Kelly looked up at his omega, his eyes kind. “We’ve got one more push to go. Just one more. Big one.”

“I can do one more,” Riley said, and it sounded like both a chant and a mantra. “I’m ready, I’m ready.”

  “Then here we go.”

Riley’s cries were so loud, Grayson was worried he would have hearing loss in one ear. His fingers were being clutched so tightly, he wasn’t sure there was any bloodflow happening, but he was definitely not about to complain.

Though, Grayson had a feeling he would become well acquainted with the sofa in their bedroom.

He watched as Riley squeezed his eyes shut, his face screwed up from the pressure.

Dr. Kelly was moving with Riley, talking him through it as he prepared to deliver the baby. “Good job, Riley. Keep going. Keep going!” Dr. Kelly encouraged.

“You’re perfect, baby, so amazing,” Grayson chimed in, adding support.

Apparently anyone’s voice was more acceptable than his at the moment. Riley’s eyes opened and he turned his head and glared at Grayson.

The saying ‘if looks could kill’ finally made sense to Grayson.

“You did this to me, so you don’t get to speak!”

Grayson wasn’t stupid, he knew when to shut up.

“Here’s the head. Just a little more. You’ve got this, Riley, You’re doing a great job.” Dr. Kelly said as he worked down south, but Grayson had decided it was best he stayed north of the action.

The baby was coming. He was going to be a father again.

“Here we are.” Dr. Kelly drew back at the same time that Riley sighed and fell back to the bed, his eyes opened, staring at Grayson, a beatific smile on his face.

  They had another son.

Grayson’s mouth opened, but no words came out. He leaned in and placed a kiss on his omega’s forehead.

Riley sighed and looked into Grayson’s eyes. “Love you, alpha.”

The tiny perfect person in Dr. Kelly’s arms was someone he’d helped bring into the world. Love, instant and irrevocable, washed over him, like it had the first time Max had been placed in his arms.

Grayson needn’t have worried that this child, would somehow make him love Max less, because Grayson felt his heart expanding with even more love, and he couldn’t look away from Riley and their new son. He watched as the doctor placed a bright red, impossibly tiny human on Riley’s chest.

Riley cradled the baby to his chest and dipped his hospital gown down off one shoulder to expose a nipple. It didn’t take much prompting for the baby to find and latch on.

Was there a more beautiful sight? Grayson knew how much this meant to Riley. He knew how much Riley had missed out with Max. Grayson had held his omega as he’d told him about the pain he’d gone through as the milk that should have fed their son dried up and the tears Riley had cried going home without his baby.

But this time he didn’t have to.

Grayson knew he would protect his family with every breath in his body.

Grayson leaned in to get a better look at his new son, and told his omega, “I love you, baby. You, Max and Kai are my reason for being and I swear, I will spend every day of my life making sure you know just how cherished you are. I promise to love you till the day I die, and forever after.”

Riley’s lip trembled, “I love you too, Grayson. My alpha... my forever,” Riley smiled and glanced down at the baby in his arms, “Want to hold your son?”

Now that was an offer Grayson couldn’t refuse.

His family… and no one could take them from him. Ever.

Then it was time for Max to meet Kai, and never had there been a more perfect picture as his two boys.

  The End.

  About the Author

Since she was a little girl, Skye R. Richmond entertained herself with any book she could get her hands on. She has written for as long as she can remember, and now she finally gets to share some of those stories with other people.

She loves a good happily ever after, because she believes love and light should touch everything. She is an obsessive reader and would never have considered writing if it wasn’t for all the authors who inspired her and the thousands of books she has devoured along the way.

When she’s not reading she’s caught up in all her guilty pleasure TV Shows, or catching up with her sibs wherever they are in the world, which usually involves long distance calling. She’s an introvert who will take a night in before anything else.

Made in Nigeria and raised in the UK, she’s an interesting mix of both cultures and appreciates both equally.
