by Abby Knox

  It was Samuel.

She spoke to him without moving her lips or using her vocal cords.

  “Thank you.”

  “Ada, drop the ball.”

  She giggled. “Absolutely not.”

“You’ve been up there long enough.”

“Doesn’t matter. Time is a phony.”

Her lover’s voice grew stern, but she didn’t care. “You need to come down, this is too much for you.”

“No, this is what I am. A piece of dust floating in space.”

“Ada, don’t make me come up there.”

Ada’s shoulders began to shake uncontrollably as laughter erupted from her belly.

The laughter only made the vibrations inside her even more intense, which increased her laughter, and soon she was twirling and howling, head over heels.

  “Come on, Ada.”

“Haha, nope. I live up here now.”

“All right, I’ll come to you then.”

“Whatever,” she sighed, her laughter barely subsiding.

And with that, Samuel was floating next to her. Her giant captor’s size looked irrelevant up here.

  Size truly did not matter.

“Did you drink from the little bottle labeled ‘Drink Me,’ friend?” she asked lazily.

  “No. Now come on.”

As soon as she turned to face him, she lost her nerve and began to fall. But he had her.

Samuel’s massive arms had her back down to earth in a moment and she punched away from him as soon as her feet hit the floor of the nave and reality overtook her.

He forced the crystal away from her and placed it back on its pedestal.

Then she understood what this was. She was feeling the same thing as the others, she had to guess, by the looks on their faces.

The crystal had opened her up. It had vibrated her open. It had opened up all of them, opened them up all the way. Enough for them to take what they wanted, and receive what the giants wanted to give to them.

“Oh,” she thought, sensing the pleasant, magical tingling between her legs. “I get it.”

  Chapter Twenty-Six

  Samuel

His lover giggled in his arms as he sat her down on the cushions in the courtyard.

“Are you OK with this? With doing this here? It is our tradition but if you don’t want to be outside in the courtyard with everyone else nearby, we can…”

Eyes wide, Ada babbled her answer in her euphoric state. “My whole body and soul has opened up to all the possibilities of the universe; I don’t even understand what it means to feel embarrassed anymore. So the answer is yes, whatever it is you’re asking me, yes.”

Samuel hovered over his flushed, ripe female, caressing all of her peaks and valleys as he kissed her neck. “Your scent alone makes me as drunk as you feel right now, Ada.”

She laughed. “What was that crystal ball thing? That was intense. I’m going to need more of that in my life.”

Samuel sighed and kissed down her chest, his enormous hands petting and gently squeezing with her breasts.

“Yael already told you,” he murmured. “Were you not paying attention?”

Ada mewed as the giant’s fingers teased her nipples into tight peaks through the fabric of her dress. “Not at all,” she answered, reaching one leg up to try to pull the hulking creature closer to her. “I was watching the fucking ceiling open up like a can of sardines. Or like a retractable roof at a fancy new sports stadium.”

She continued to giggle like she was as high as a kite.

“I didn’t know the crystal would have this effect on you. If I had, I would have kept a closer eye on your sneaky fingers.”

She cocked her head to the side and leveled him with her crooked smile, full of ten times the usual amount of mischief. “What did you think would happen?”

“I thought it would do its job. Get you ready for me.” As if to demonstrate that point, the giant hiked up her dress and cupped her bare pussy. He watched her cheeks flush a deeper red as he slowly bathed his hand in her sweetness.

Ada looked at him as thoughtfully as she could manage. “So that thing, that holy sphere you keep on an altar—the altar—in this cathedral, is nothing but a magical stretching machine?”

“Well, when you put it like that.” Samuel chuckled and nuzzled her neck, stroked the insides of her thighs, and felt his heart beat faster with every sound of enjoyment he provoked from her. “But the sphere gives us what it needs. Whoever touches it, it connects us to the universe. It gives energy, it can restore magical energies, and for humans, it can heal the body and the mind and also when necessary, prepare your body to accept…me.”

“Prepare my human vajeen for the big magical wand?”

Samuel buried his face in her breasts. “Fucking gods, woman.”

She pressed on, “Well, that’s what we’re doing here, ain’t it, cowboy?”

As Samuel was about to continue his sensual massage foreplay, a sudden surge of magical power tore through the tiny woman and lit him up.

  “Ada, what…”

He was on his back on the cushions before he knew what was happening. He thought he’d try to help his human proceed gently, cautiously, but in fact, the sphere had infused Ada with so much power that she overtook him.

Samuel was laid out on the cushions, his tunic no match for her newfound strength. The human rent his garment in two with her bare hands.

  “I don’t understand what’s happening,” he said.

It meant one thing, that by being there—whether it was simply the experience with the crystal, or eating his food, ingesting water from the fountain of youth—she was growing in strength. It could be a problem, he thought. But any caution quickly vanished when Ada lifted her dress and took the giant rod in her hand. His heart hammered in his chest when he looked down and saw the tip—the massive tip of it—so close to her human-sized entrance.

Her small hand wrapped around it and teased her wet folds. It was happening. It was happening for the first time in how long? He couldn’t say. But it was unreal, and somehow too real, the feeling of his actual, giant-sized cock entering her slick, warm pussy. Her lower lips trembled with the magical forces infused in them by the crystal. Everything went hazy as the blood rushed to his cock, inch by aching, throbbing inch.

“Oh my gods. Fucking yes, that’s my girl,” he heaved.

With one of her hands on his chest to balance herself, and her knees spread wide, she lowered herself down on him completely, enveloping every last bit of his twelve inches, and she smiled.

“It hardly seems possible but…” Her words trailed off as her eyes rolled back in her head from the pleasure.

To Samuel, it was comical, how little he was responsible for giving her so much pleasure, and how much intense heat and pleasure she was giving him in return. The fact that her mind was not influenced to remove her fears and inhibitions made the pleasure that much more intense.

They climbed the mountain of bliss together and it grew with every thrust, every touch. But still, he wanted more. The noises coming from all corners of the courtyard only heightened his arousal. Moans, giggles, cries of ecstasy engorged him inside her. His sheer size in comparison to her allowed him to touch her everywhere with ease. He teased her with his rough hands. His body pushed him to flip her over and drive into her, to take control, but there would be plenty of time for that. His thumb grazed over one nipple while his middle finger of the same hand grazed the other. It made him smile.

“Lick your lips slowly for me, angel,” he growled. She obeyed, and as she did so, squeezed down on him.

Samuel let out a curse of exhilaration as her juices flowed around him.

“I like it when you curse,” she hissed, riding him with more intensity. “I love it when you’re frustrated. You get me so fucking wet when you look at me like you’re about to lose your temper.”

“Ada,” he breathed. “Slow down. We have all day to get there.”

  But she only rode h
im harder. She was enjoying her newfound physical power, and Samuel could not deny her that. He let her have that moment of dominance over him. He loved her like this and it only made him enjoy her more.

The intoxicating effects of the sphere still had hold of her. Her pupils were fully dilated, so the color of her irises was undetectable. Her skin was flushed from head to toe. And whether she was aware of it or not, the aftershocks still rolled through her. The next one was due in a few minutes.

He reaped all the benefits of her magical abilities, thrusting in unison with her on top of him. Her hand reached back to play with his balls, his ass, his thighs, her other hand stroking his vee lines, teasing his navel, his stomach, pinching his nipples—until they exploded together.

His cum filled her so full it gushed back out again when she screamed out her release. He memorized the moment, burning it into his brain.

To be buried to the hilt inside her, finally, in his true form…this is what they were built for. It made no difference the their bodies didn’t line up. It didn’t matter he was a giant and she was a human, nor did it matter that magic had to intervene to make this happen. Together, they created something so perfect, everything else was details.

The spurting was relentless, as was the clenching of her inner walls around him. Her cascading release gripped him, milked him beyond what he had thought possible. Still she bore down on him, and he continued to give her everything she demanded. Samuel held her hips tight against his body as he answered every jerk of her muscles with another surge of his seed, until both of them were soaked in sweat.

When his lover, finally spent, fell against his chest he pulled her up to eye level to kiss her. “There you are,” he whispered. “I’ve been missing those lips.”

Ada smiled through his kisses and hummed her appreciation, her body splayed out limply across his chest. He could have stayed this way and held her as she slept, but the giant was suddenly overcome with a sense of protectiveness. He didn’t want anyone else to see her like this.

Samuel nimbly rose and carefully flew her back to his suite.

As he tucked his lover into bed, he wrapped her up in his wings and caressed her hair. She shivered and chattered. Samuel murmured to her as he petted her body. “What did you see up there?” Samuel asked.

“I think it was a hallucination. Like somebody gave me some next-level magic mushrooms and this entire place is a hallucination, including you.”

Samuel laughed. “So you think I’m regular-sized and this is an illusion?”

Ada laughed sleepily. “Oh no, you’re the real deal, and so is that post-hole digger between your legs.”

Samuel held her tight as he sensed another wave trembling setting upon her.

“Oh no,” she said, shaking. “What is this?”

  “Aftershocks,” he said.

“I’m so sleepy,” she said with a yawn, stretching her little body out.

“They’ll pass quickly,” he whispered, kissing the top of her hair.

Samuel nuzzled her through the remainder of her aftershocks, and later, studied her face as she drifted off to sleep. Memorized it, etched it into his memory, because he knew it was to be cherished. Because he knew their time was short.

And not only because of Malek.

But because her abilities were becoming stronger and more disruptive to the order of things, which could only one day bring terrible destruction upon both their heads. If her power was discovered, the demons and the archangels alike would come after her. Come after all of them, deal or no deal with Malek the Seraphim.

And that was an even bigger problem than The Authorities.

  Chapter Twenty-Seven

  Ada

“What do you mean, I missed the concert?”

Ada had awakened in her bed—which she’d started calling their bed—alone. But she wasn’t alone for long. Within seconds of her waking up, Samuel returned to her with the news that she’d slept through the entire concert portion of the Bacchanal.

She was off the bed and glaring up at his sheepish expression. She’d been looking forward to the concert. For science, for her own experience. So far, the Bacchanal business was pretty awesome, and she didn’t want to miss a second of it.

Samuel picked her up in his arms and held her against his chest to meet his eye. “I missed you.” He placed a tender kiss on her cheek because it was all he could reach as she writhed.

“Put me down!” She struggled against his grip and grunted, pulling out a laugh from his throat.

With a grin, he asked, “Would you prefer I ruin my back leaning down to talk to you?”

She pushed at his chest but he gripped her tighter. “You’re immortal. You don’t get bad backs.”

Samuel laughed again and she had to work hard to keep from smiling as she flailed her legs. He held her firmly by her ass. “Did you find that out in your scientific research, that immortal creatures don’t get aches and pains?”

She snorted and could no longer resist. “Ugh, why are you such an ass?”

Relaxing his grip on her as she settled in against him, he replied, “Because when you’re as old as I am, you learn to make your own fun. Humans are entertaining. You especially are entertaining when you’re angry with me.”

Ada huffed and blew out a breath against his shoulder. “Fine. Set me down on the bed then, and I can stand up to talk eye to eye. Are you going to answer my question about the concert?”

He didn’t set her down on the bed, and Ada knew why. Samuel may be immortal, but Ada recognized that this was a man in the early stages of love. Still reeling from almost losing her to that snake bite, he didn’t want to let go of her.

“You slept through it, love,” he said tenderly.

“Then why didn’t you wake me up?” Her legs started to slip, and for a moment Ada thought he was going to finally put her down but he hitched her closer to himself.

“Because based on your reaction to the crystal, I had suspicions that without mind control you wouldn’t be able to handle the concert. You would have passed out cold witnessing the music, anyway.”

“How dare you assume I couldn’t handle it,” she retorted, squinting at him.

“Have you ever heard planets singing?”

She answered, “No, because planets don’t sing.”

“Yes, they do. Did you not learn anything from your little episode with the crystal? Did you not finally learn that you know nothing?”

Ada touched his scar and felt him shiver. “I learned that you guys have access to some good hallucinogens, so no wonder this place is a secret.”

Samuel shook his head. “What am I going to do with you?”

“I’ll tell you what you should have done,” she said, “let me go to the Concert.”

Ada examined his face and noticed something different about his eyes. They were brighter, even though to her human eyes they had been plenty bright before. His arms felt bigger, thicker, stronger than before, even though he was already a fucking giant.

“Next time, my love.” He placed a kiss on her lips. It was soft but sensuous. Something felt different though.

“Why do I get the feeling you don’t think there will be another one in four months?”

He smiled. He tried to sound chipper, or about as chipper as a ten-foot brooding giant could sound. “Never mind all that. Let’s go get you something to eat.”

She tuned in to her body. Everything still felt a little light and tingly. Her nether region was sore from their repeated bouts of thrusting last night. Or was it days ago? She couldn’t tell; she’d lost her phone after the snake incident.

“I am hungry. But I don’t think I can walk.” A wicked smile crept across her face and she burst out laughing when Samuel registered what she’d meant.

“Don’t be so proud of yourself,” she muttered with a smirk as they ascended the stone staircase, her still attached to him like a toy gnome on the end of a pencil. His wings flew them up and out of his suite and across the ab
bey, but slower, lazier than usual. Ada took in her surroundings, mentally noted the beauty of the sweeping arches, the perfect geometry of the windows, the tapestries, the sculptures, and the artwork. She felt a strange grip in her stomach as if something was telling her to take it all in and enjoy it because she might not ever experience anything like it again.

She knew her time was short in the abbey, and whatever Malek had planned for her, it would likely mean she was never coming back.

In the center courtyard was a large round stone table laden with fruits and vegetables of all kinds, berries, and apples and strange succulent orbs all new to her.

All the cushions from the orgy were gone. Around the table were seven tall marble thrones.

In her former life, Ada might have had the urge to form a snide opinion about anyone needing to sit in a throne to eat, but she recalled the things that she had learned from her reading, from talking to the others, and from Samuel. The sad truth was, the giants, in their in-between lives, would never access their birthright. They were entitled to glory. They were entitled to be kings, but it was never going to happen. They would never be permitted to enter their ancestral home. And for that reason, they had created pale replicas of heaven on earth. It made her feel…not sad but indignant on their behalf.

She had learned to keep her mouth shut and pay attention. And soon her questions were answered. Zave took a seat first, with no companion, and Yael followed, and his intimidatingly gorgeous companion sat on his lap and he immediately began feeding her with his fingers. Everyone followed suit, including Samuel.

“I have a question,” Ada said to the group. “Why do you all not eat meat?”

Zave glowered at her as he took a massive loaf of bread and bit off a chunk of it like a predator tearing into a zebra on the savanna.

She looked from Zave to Atlas, who bristled but then quickly had his attention drawn back to his pouty-lipped companion who was feeding him grapes one by one with her manicured fingers.

Reus, whose purple-clad companion was feasting on fruit salad, replied, “It’s a party. We don’t need to talk about that.”
