Not My Prince: A Dark Bully High School Romance Page 24

by L V Chase

“How’d you get into Roman Academy?” I ask. They both turn towards me. “Financially, I mean.”

“You remember the company my brother started?” he asks.

  I nod.

“I’ve been working with him,” Damian says. “It’s been doing exceptionally well. He decided I should get my diploma, officially, instead of a GED, and I should get it from a decent school. So, I came here.”

“Your brother’s company?” Jay asks. “It’s not nepotism, if it works, right? You have to look out for those app startups, though. They tend to burn bright before going bankrupt.”

“It’s not an app startup,” Damian says to Jay, but he’s smiling at me. “It’s a media company. Writing on the Wall. And we’re going to make Voss burn.”

Cin and Grayson’s story will continue in the sequel Not His Pawn. If you enjoyed part one of Roman Academy Rules, please consider leaving a review on Amazon. Your support makes a big difference to small-time indie authors.

If you haven’t read it yet, you might also want to check out my other series, Hate to Remember. It’s a finished two-part series that you can get HERE.

  Thank you for reading!

  About the Author

I love stories that are fast, twisted, heart-wrenching, and alive, because the happiest ending can only take place after the most delicious struggle.

After years of being a bookworm, I finally got around to writing down all the things tumbling in my head. I have plenty of more contemporary, dark, and new adult stories planned!

I swear nothing in these books is remotely related to my actual life, which mostly involves mundane suburbia interrupted by the antics of a growing toddler.
