“My sister Ryleigh would be perfect for the job,” Jessie said, not noticing that Liv tugged on Jessie’s shirt again.

  “Mom?” Liv said.

  “Yes, sweetie?”

Liv leaned in and tried to whisper, but everyone could overhear her say, “I don’t want Ryleigh going to Tommy.”

Jessie stroked Liv’s long hair from her face and said, “Ooh, but you’ll still see Ryleigh, sweetie. Ryleigh is always going to be your aunt.”

“Why can’t I have Ryleigh as my nanny?” Liv said as she looked up hopefully at her mom.

“Well, we live with grandpa and grandma now, and grandma loves to help me with picking you up from school and taking you to dance classes.”

“But I want Ryleigh,” Liv said as she shoved her plate forward.

“We’ll talk about it when we get home,” Jessie said, and she gave a final nod. Liv pursed her lips and walked back to the twins. Tommy followed and Bree got up from her seat too to join them.

Jessie cleared her throat and passed a card over the table to Keenan.

“This is my sister, Ryleigh. She’s been real great with Liv. My absolute rock. I’m staying with my parents now, so my mom is eager to help with Liv. But Ryleigh is the best you could ever find as your nanny.”

Keenan perked up in his seat after picking up the card from Jessie. Declan glanced down at a postcard with a picture of Jessie sitting on a bench in the park, sitting and laughing with a younger woman.

Their faces seemed so similar, like they could have been twins. They both had wide, corn blue eyes, high cheekbones, and a pert nose. But if this was Ryleigh on the postcard, she had shiny, long red hair instead of blonde hair like Jessie.

Ryleigh’s hair wasn’t as fiery red like Bree’s sister Fianna. No, it was a more carroty red. With a copper undertone, making it more red than orange.

Keenan’s thumb caressed the side of the postcard, flicking over and over a laughing Ryleigh as he studied the card. Keenan cleared his throat. “How old is your sister?”

“She just turned twenty-one,” Jessie said.

Declan glanced over at Jessie, who studied Keenan the same way as Declan did. She held out her hand for Keenan to return the postcard. “But maybe you’re right, she’s young…”

Keenan didn’t look up from the postcard. “Could you give me her number?”

“Eh, well, I… I don’t know if she’d like that. I can give you my number? To eh, set up a meet?”

Keenan held out the postcard and held on a bit too long when Jessie grabbed it.

“Give her mine and please have her call me.” Keenan brought out his business card and placed it on the table. He stood and thanked Declan for brunch.

“It would be great to have some help with Tommy, Jessie,” Keenan urged.

“I’ll give her your number. It was nice meeting you,” Jessie said as she also stood from the table.

It didn’t escape Declan how his cousin tested Ryleigh’s name on his lips as he walked out the door. Bree walked back to the table with Ava in her arms.

“I’ve never seen Keen like this,” Bree whispered. She searched Declan’s eyes to get a read on his thoughts of Keenan’s odd behavior.

Declan’s upper lip pulled. Keenan Mills has just been knocked upside the head and kicked in his gut, with just one look at a picture of Ryleigh Walker.

  Acknowledgments

A huge thank you to all of the amazing readers out there who took a chance on reading one of my books! It means the world to me that you enjoy the characters like I do. Some even fell in love with the series and I'm happy to keep popping out Lucky Irish books for you! :)

Thank you to all the reviewers, ARC readers and bloggers who’ve helped me to get the word out! I’m so grateful for all your support!

Thank you, Tiffany Grimes from Burgeon Design and Editorial, for working with me on the fourth book of the series. It was again such a pleasure working with you. And your coaching helped me so much! I’m so happy that I’ve found you!

Dear Emilie of InkSlingerPR, thank you for being there for me! It’s so good to have you in my corner! And it’s so cool that you know a few Dutch words! Dankjewel voor alles :)

I loved writing about the five Ryan sisters and their family dynamics. I want to dedicate this book to Eline, my sister.

We drove the rest of our family of five mad with our bickering and petty little fights over who got the best spot in front of the mirror, while lip-syncing a song with our hair brushes in hand.

As we got older you turned into my true big sister who’s not only my rock, but also one of my best friends. <3

To my family, my husband and three daughters, you give me so much inspiration on writing about love and strong-willed heroines in particular. Every day, you make me feel so loved, and I can only hope that I’m making you proud.

  About the Author

Anna loves to write heartfelt and steamy romance series. She falls in love with her characters as they go through their ups and downs. Anna often laughs out loud behind her laptop as she writes the banter between siblings. Sometimes, she cries as a result from the real talk that comes with family. There
's no hiding from a nosy Pops ;-) Her books are for mature readers only because of their steamy content.

Anna Castor lives in a small town near Amsterdam, The Netherlands, with her husband and their three young daughters. When she’s not writing and has some time left between bringing her kids to school and picking them up from play dates or volleyball practice, she’s glued to her e-reader.

Anna is a former wedding photographer turned author. While photographing weddings, Anna loved being a part of the couple's special day to tell their (love) story through her pictures. Each wedding had a different story to tell: the histories of the bride and groom, their family dynamics, their challenges in life, and of course, how they met and fell in love.

And now Anna takes her readers through the troubles and hardships her characters may come across on their journey to a happily ever after.
