“No, I didn’t know that, but I do now.”
“So, that means that you and Paul can do something.”
“Stace––” Jake says, but I cut him off before he can continue.
“Listen, Jake. A stag do doesn’t mean that you have to get blind drunk. You guys can just hang out here if you don’t want to go out. Don’t be such an old fart.”
“Old fart?” Jake’s eyebrows raise, and I burst out laughing. His expression grows serious and his eyes begin to darken. I cease laughing at the look of desire in his eyes. “Why don’t I show you that I am anything but an old fart, as you so kindly put it.”
He stands up and stalks around the table. He is looking at me like I am his prey, and I love it.
Unfortunately, this prey is going to make him work for his reward.
I quickly push my chair back and run around the table and out of the kitchen door.
“You’ll have to catch me first,” I shout as I run up the stairs. I can hear him following me and just as I reach our bedroom, his hand comes around my waist. I let out a squeal and am lifted off of my feet before Jake throws me onto the bed. I laugh as I try to regulate my breathing.
“This old fart is raring to go. You ready?” he asks as he leans over me and lets his lips hover over mine.
“I was born ready,” I whisper. Jake’s mouth touches mine and sparks fly. He makes me crazy. Crazy for his mind, crazy for his body, and crazy for his touch.
I can’t wait to see what he has in store for our wedding night.
Chapter Sixteen
Stacey
My hen night consists of Lydia, Martin, Bonnie, Susie, Chloe and myself. I am more than happy with it just being a small group of us. We arrived at The Den at seven o’clock, and we have been here for an hour already. The drinks are flowing, we have a VIP table, and I have been made to wear a bride-to-be sash. I also have on a tiara and a couple of ‘L’ plate signs are attached to my back and front. It may seem tacky, but I love the cheesiness of it.
I didn’t want too much fuss, but I have to say that I am enjoying the fact that my closest friends want to celebrate with me. Well, I wouldn’t call Chloe one of closest friends, but she is my agent, so I felt that she needed to be invited. Maybe being in a social setting will help her to loosen up a little bit? She seems like she needs to let her hair down more.
My evening started off with Lydia and Martin surprising me at home with my outfit for the night, which consists of white tailored shorts, a sparkly white vest top and white stiletto’s. Lydia referred to it as the virgin bride look. Luckily, I quite like the outfit, so I didn’t argue with her. My hair has been styled into a mass of curls, but I fully expect it to look frazzled by the end of the night.
Jake wasn’t allowed to see me before I left, and Lydia roped in Paul to keep him away from me. I was a little disappointed that I didn’t get to say goodbye to him earlier. I didn’t even have time to grab my phone or anything, so I can’t even text him.
I take a sip of my cocktail and give my head a little shake.
For goodness sake, Stacey, you’re going to be seeing Jake later when you go home. Just enjoy yourself.
I smile as I look to Lydia who is dancing with Martin. She is wearing the most gorgeous green baby-doll dress. She also dons a sash with hers saying ‘Maid of Honour.’ Martin was most displeased that he didn’t get a sash of his own. He is wearing a hot pink suit with a black shirt, and black shoes. Where he got the outfit from, I have no idea, but at least the colours don’t clash on this occasion. It certainly is a classic Martin look.
Susie and Bonnie are deep in conversation on the other side of the table from me, and Chloe looks like she is completely out of place. She is wearing one of her business suits for goodness sake. She sits just along from me, her back straight, and her head poised high with her nose in the air. I roll my eyes and decide that I should make some effort to speak to her on a friend level rather than an agent level. I move to sit on the stool next to her.
“You okay there, Chlo?” I say, shortening her name. She jumps slightly and turns to look at me. I can’t quite read the expression on her face. It seems to be a cross between a grimace and a look of pure confusion.
“Oh, yes, I’m fine, thank you,” she says sounding as bored as she possibly can. I grit my teeth as I try to think of some way to get her to let her guard down.
“Want a shot?” I ask her.
“A what?”
Oh good grief.
“A shot, Chloe, would you like a shot?”
“What is a shot?”
She can’t be serious?
How can she be in her mid-twenties and have never heard of a shot before?
“You know what, I’ll just go and get some so that you can see for yourself.” With that, I leave her sat at the table and make my way to the bar. I get served quickly, seeing as the workers know exactly who I am, and I hardly fade into the background with my outfit. I order two shots of tequila for each of us, along with lemon and salt.
Whilst I wait for the drinks to be poured, I take a look around. I still feel a sense of sadness that I no longer work here. I wouldn’t give up the success my book has had for anything, but I miss the daily routine of this place.
Darren is the one serving me, and he finishes pouring the shots and tells me that he will carry them over to our table. I try to tell him that I can manage, but he refuses to listen as he picks up the tray of drinks and makes his way out from behind the bar. I follow him to the table and resume my seat next to Chloe. She looks at the tray of drinks and her eyes widen a little.
“Don’t worry, they’re not just for us two,” I say, wanting to put her mind at ease.
“Here you go,” I say, handing her one of the shot glasses. She takes the glass off of me and gives me a questioning look. “Okay, Chloe, this is called a shot. It’s a shot of tequila…” Before I can finish speaking, Chloe has downed the shot and is sat there with her face screwed up from the taste. My mouth hangs open as I stare at her. She grabs the remainder of her cocktail and takes a few sips.
“God that is gross,” she says, turning to look at me.
“Well, you’re meant to do the shot with salt and lemon, but you didn’t give me a chance to tell you that part.”
“Oh.”
“Don’t worry, I ordered two each, so there’s another one for you,” I reply with a wink. I then show her the correct way to drink a shot of tequila, and she does her second shot with less fuss than the first one. Lydia and Martin come back over to the table and both drink their shots in quick succession.
“You having a good night so far, baby girl?” Martin shouts to me over the table. I nod at him and am about to suggest that we all go dance together when the music stops, and the DJ starts to speak.
“Stacey Paris,” the DJ says into the microphone. I freeze on the spot and my eyes fixate on Lydia, who is grinning like a Cheshire cat. The whole place is silent as every other person in the building looks to see who Stacey Paris is.
“Come on, girl, you’re needed on the stage,” the DJ continues. I immediately let my gaze narrow on Lydia and I can see that she is struggling not to laugh at my reaction. I told her that I didn’t want a big fuss.
“Go on, babes, don’t keep everyone waiting,” she says, the grin still firmly in place. I scowl at her and allow my legs to walk me around the table. I see eyes start to turn in my direction and I feel so uncomfortable.
I gulp as I move forward, wanting to reach the stage as soon as possible and get whatever is planned for me over and done with. I reach the stairs and on shaking legs I climb each one until I am stood beside the DJ booth.
“Everyone give Stacey a hand,” the DJ says, leading the whole room into a clapping frenzy. I force a smile, but I am trying so hard not to cringe that I imagine that I probably look a little bit deranged.
My table of hens and Martin are all hollering and whooping. Except for Chloe of course. She is just sat there taking everything in.
“Now, we were told earlier this evening that Stacey is getting married in two days’ time.” Some of the crowd cheer at this point, but I hear one voice shout out that I “Must be mad.” A few people laugh at this and I allow a genuine smile to grace my lips. “Congratulations by the way,” the DJ continues, aiming that comment solely at me. “Your friends thought that they would send you off into married life in style…”
The music starts up again and “Peaches and Cream” by 112 plays through the sound system. I stand routed to the spot, not knowing what the hell is coming next. I can see that Martin is jumping up and down, clearly unable to contain his excitement of what is coming up.
I look around and the crowd start cheering loudly. It isn’t until I feel two hands land on my shoulders from behind me, that I realise why the crowd is cheering so much.
Well, the women are at least.
I turn around and come face to face with some guy that I have never seen before. The guy, dressed in a grey suit and wearing dark sunglasses to give him a suave look, leads me over to a chair that has been placed in the middle of the stage. He doesn’t speak to me, he just smiles as he turns back to face the crowd. He leads the crowd into a frenzy and then from out of nowhere, two other guys join him on the stage and then they start to dance to a choreographed routine.
I watch as women scream, and men start to back away from the front of the stage. It is at this point that it finally dawns on me that my friends have got me a stripper. No, they haven’t just got me one stripper, they have got me three!
I cover my face and start to laugh as the three guys turn around to face me and they start to take their suit jackets off. They then make their way closer to me as their shirts come off, and then their trousers.
I let myself scream along with the other women as I get swept up in the atmosphere of the moment. The music continues with a sexy beat as Usher, “Love In This Club” starts to play. The strippers are dancing around me in just their thongs at this point.
I let my eyes roam the room for a moment to find that Lydia and Martin have made it to the front of the stage and they are cheering away. I smile at them and am thankful that I have great friends who want to make sure that I have fun going off into married life. I blow them both a kiss as the strippers continue to gyrate around me.
I don’t worry about Jake being annoyed that my friends have gotten me strippers for my hen night. He will just see it as a bit of fun.
In fact, it has given me an idea for what I can do when I get home…
Jake
It’s just gone two in the morning when I hear the front door open, quickly followed by the laugher of two drunken women. Paul and I are sat in the dining room just finishing off a game of poker. Eric joined us for a couple of games earlier, but he left just before midnight to go home. Stacey refused to have Eric pick her up tonight as she wasn’t sure what the plans were going to be.
Paul looks to me as we hear the girls coming down the hallway.
“They sound like they have had a good night,” Paul says as he takes a sip of his beer. I just smile at him. Drunk Stacey is certainly entertaining to see. I sit back and am about to continue to play my hand when the girls come bursting through the kitchen door.
“Shhh, Lyd,” I hear Stacey say as she struggles to control her laughter.
“I am shushing,” Lydia replies as she tries to walk in a straight line. Lydia notices Paul and I sat at the dining table before Stacey does and she starts to walk over. I say walk, but it is more like watching a toddler attempting to walk for the first time.
“Babe,” she shrieks as she barrels her way towards Paul and flings her arms around his neck. Paul has to be quick with stopping his chair from toppling backwards. I stifle laughter as Paul struggles to gain control of a drunken Lydia lounging on top of him. Paul’s eyes are wide, but his mouth is curved into a smile, so I know that he finds this whole scenario just as funny as I do.
I turn my attention to Stacey who is stood, leaning against the kitchen island, her eyes trained solely on me. I stand up from the chair and walk over to her, seeing that her eyes are a little glazed over as I do so. When I reach her, I place a light kiss on the end of her nose.
“Good night?” I ask her.
“Yeah. We had so much fun. What about you guys, what did you get up to?” she asks, her words sounding slightly slurred.
“Oh, we just played some poker and had a couple of beers. Would you like some water?” I ask her, figuring that she could probably do with some before she goes to bed.
“Yes please.” I grab her a glass of water and she drains it all in one go. “That’s better,” she says as she puts the glass down on the island. She then wobbles her way over to sit at the dining table. She flops down in my chair and lays her head on the table.
“Um, Stace?” I say, making my way over to her. She mumbles something and closes her eyes. I smile and look to Paul who still has Lydia led on top of him. “Do you guys just want to stay in one of the guest bedrooms tonight?” I offer as I think he may struggle to get Lydia into a taxi.
“That might be the best idea,” he says as manages to stand up whilst keeping hold of Lydia. “We need to leave at about ten in the morning to go and pick Amber up from my mum’s.”
“That’s okay, I can drive you to yours to get your car.”
“Cheers, mate.”
“No problem.”
Paul proceeds to leave the room and make his way to the first floor. He knows where the guest bedrooms are, so I have no need to show him where to go. I pick Stacey up and lift her up the stairs to our bedroom, kicking the door closed behind me when I get there. I lie her on the bed and make my way to the ensuite to use the toilet. I wash up and get undressed, so that I am only wearing my boxers. I decide that I should try and get Stacey out her hen night attire. She can hardly sleep with a bloody tiara on her head.
I exit the ensuite but am surprised to see that Stacey is no longer led on the bed. My eyes scan the room but there is no sign of her. I frown as I wonder where the hell she has gone. I am about to make my way out of the bedroom, and my hand is on the door handle when I hear faint music coming from the walk-in wardrobe.
Puzzled, I pull my hand away from the door and I wait to see what is about to happen.
Stacey
I did a pretty good job of pretending to be so drunk that I fell asleep on the dining table. I smile as I watch Jake through the crack in the wardrobe doors. His hand is resting on the door handle and I take that as my cue to start playing the music that I have chosen for this exact moment, Ariana Grande, “Everyday.” I turn it up slightly as Jake pauses and removes his hand from the door handle.
As the beat of the music kicks in, I appear from behind the wardrobe doors. I strike a sexy pose and lean against the side of the door, with one hand on my hip.
“Stace? What’s going on?” Jake asks me.
“Well, I thought that, seeing as I had three strippers for my hen do, it would only be fair for you to have at least one.”
“You had three strippers?” he asks, his eyebrows raised. I nod at him slowly and I start to saunter towards him. His lips start to twitch as I make my way closer to him.
“I thought that I would surprise you,” I say as I throw the tiara off of my head and onto the floor. He looks to where the tiara has landed, and he has a wicked glint in his eye. “I thought that I would pretend to be drunk, and then I could give you your pre-wedding treat without you suspecting anything.”
I reach him, and I place my hands on his chest, letting them slowly trail down his body until I reach his hands resting at either side of him. I take his hands in mine and I pull him over to the bed, indicating for him to sit down on the edge, which he does willingly.
I start to do a provocative dance to the music, slowly taking my clothing off as I go along. First, I take my top off before bending over and facing away from him, so that he has a perfect view of my ass. I let my shorts and knickers fall to the floor and I continue to gyra
te in front of him. His arousal is evident, and I decide to give him a bit of a lap dance for good measure.
I straddle him and rub my body against his as I reach behind and unclasp my bra. I pull my bra off of my arms and then throw it behind me as I grind my hips into his. His hands come to my waist and as much as I want to continue this little role play for him, I can’t wait any longer for my lips to touch his. I lower my head and push myself against him as our lips connect.
Jake lies back on the bed, with me on top of him. I kiss him slowly as I want to take my time. I move my hand down and snake my fingers into his boxers, wrapping them around his full length. He gives a groan at my touch. I break my lips from his and just hold his gaze as I begin to pleasure him.
The music ends, and another track starts up. Rita Ora, “Body on Me,” starts to play and it makes the moment so much more heated than it was a second ago. Before I know it, Jake has flipped me so that I am on my back and he makes quick work of undressing, so that we are both fully naked. He pushes against my opening and I jerk my hips up for him to enter me. He kisses me as he does so and then he begins to slowly pull out and push back in.
I wrap my arms around his neck as we make love to the music. Our bodies are so in tune with one another. We hold each other’s gaze the entire time. I have never been shy about making eye contact with Jake. I think it makes our love making more intense.
Our breaths mingle together and we both try to hold onto our release for as long as possible.
I never want to be without this man. Ever.
He owns me, and I am going to do everything in my power to make sure that I am the best wife to him that I can possibly be.
Chapter Seventeen
Jake
I am standing here, in my wedding suit, and I am waiting for my wife-to-be to walk down the aisle. It feels like I have been waiting for hours, but in reality, it is probably only a few minutes. I know that it is the bride’s prerogative to be a few minutes late, but it’s making me nervous.
