Hard as Rock Page 22

by Stephanie West

She stroked his cock faster as her finger delved deeper into his quivering puckered opening. She reached a sensitive spot deep inside and Roc shuddered, his cock jerking in her hand.

“Sacrament! I give.” Roc grabbed her hands, forcing her to pull out and release his cock, as his tail retreated from her own ass.

“Oh,” she pouted in disappointment. “Things were just getting good. So, does this mean no strap-on?” Meline asked, her lips twisting into an evil grin.

Roc smirked at her, then his expression softened as he stroked her back.

“I was serious about us making love as much as possible, but there’s a good reason, not just me being a randy pervert.”

“Is that so?” She traced his washboard abs, waiting for him to continue.

“I’m in love with you and want you in my life for as long as possible.”

“I love you so much, Roc.” Meline wrapped her arms around his waist and hugged him tight. So, this was where he was going. Roc was still worried about losing her. “You know, handsome, there’s no guarantees in life. But if we worry about tomorrow all the time, we’ll miss today.”

“I know.” He nodded. “But the more I love you, the longer you’ll live. You’ll heal faster and resist illness.”

“That’s what’s been happening!” She gaped in shock and felt her forehead where the gash had been. It wasn’t completely healed but it was certainly much better. “And this is because we have sex?”

“Yes and no. There’s a gland in my mouth. I guess the hormone spreads through my bloodstream. It never responded to anyone, then I met you.”

“Oh.” She smiled at the notion she was special to him. She knew she was, but this somehow confirmed it.

“I didn’t know it until my sire told me, but you’re my mate, my Hondassa.”

“Roc?” She stared up at him. Was he telling her what she thought he was?

Roc knelt in the pool. He was so tall the water still barely came to his chest. She started to hyperventilate as he took both her hands in his large palms. Behind him, the iridescent northern lights were an undulating curtain banding the sky, with the stars dancing like little diamonds. It presented an amazing backdrop for what she felt coming.

“You’ve been mine from the moment I heard you say such wildly silly things in your sleep, and you know I love you, but will you do me the honor of being mine?”

“Yes!” Meline cried as she wrapped her arms around his neck. “You didn’t even have to ask!”

“Oh, yes I did. The sex on demand thing didn’t work out so well for me, I wasn’t about to screw this part up,” he chuckled, then planted his lips against hers.

She sank into the warm water, and he shifted so she was straddling his lap as they kissed. The tingling sensation his kiss evoked was all the more pleasurable because she now knew what it meant. The idea they were going to spend a long, long life together filled her with unspeakable joy. Her tongue explored his mouth, stroking his canines, then retreated to nibble his lips.

“Mmm,” Roc groaned into her mouth, his hands roaming her body, squeezing her hips, stroking her sides, caressing her breasts.

She wanted to be closer to him, as close as two people possibly could be. Meline ground her hips against Roc, rubbing her pussy over his stiff cock trapped between them. Each time her clit struck the ridges on his engorged shaft, a spike of pleasure coursed through her, making her stomach do little crunches. Roc broke their kiss as his tail coiled around her waist and lifted her up.

“Do I have your permission to make you scream?” he rasped against her lips, his voice thick with desire.

Meline barely nodded when Roc swiftly tugged her down. His cock drove deep into her pussy, stretching her slick walls. He swallowed the keen that burst from her lips. The ridges lining his girth abraded her sensitive flesh as he steadily pulled her down, impaling her on his length. It was such sweet torment. Meline gripped his wings, her nails digging in as he buried the last inch inside her, shoving at the recesses of her quaking channel.

“Yes,” Roc groaned as she trembled with ecstasy.

She threw her head back when Roc rotated his hips. His lower stomach grazed her clit and the head of his pulsing cock lit up the nerves lining her channel.

  “Roc.”

Her voice was part moan, part cry when he latched onto one of her nipples and sucked deep, giving it just a little nip, the sensation going straight through her. Meline spasmed, squeezing his cock. Roc jerked inside her.

“Fuck,” he growled, his hot breath teasing her nipple.

With bruising strength, Roc gripped her hips tighter and started thrusting as he resumed tormenting her other nipple. Her fingers speared into his hair, holding on for dear life as his pace increased. Roc’s lusty deep growls vibrated her nipple, making her reel from the resulting bliss. She panted, moaned and cried out as the pleasure swelled. His cock hammered in and out of her slick pussy, forcing past her rhythmically clenching muscles.

“Yes, fuck me harder.” She tugged his hair as she writhed.

Roc snarled and turned feral. He pulled nearly all the way out and stabbed back in, grinding against her clit as he went wild. Her whole body shuddered, her legs squeezing his waist as her overheated body started coming apart at the seams. Suddenly his tail was working its way into her ass. The feeling of it sliding over the ring of nerves had her quaking harder.

“Roc,” she screamed into his damp hair as the orgasm shot through her.

Roc burst. His pulsing cock flooded her channel with the liquid hormone that was unadulterated passion. Her pussy milked him of every last drop, but he didn’t let up.

“More. Not enough.” Roc attacked her mouth. He was an insatiable, lust-driven animal.

Roc spread her cheeks wider and his tail started fucking her ass in earnest. It pistoned in and out, pressing deeper than ever before, while his cock abused her needy pussy. She contorted in his grip, her orgasm raging on, building into maelstrom. He rumbled in warning as she struggled in his grasp, fighting the impending eclipse. His mouth found her shoulder and bit down to keep her still. Meline convulsed at the delicious bite of pain, her heels digging into his clenching ass.

Her eyes flew wide when she felt a gust of cool air. She looked around in awe and discovered they were midair. She was so hot the arctic breeze felt good against her skin. This was a first, then again everything with Roc was a first. The way he turned her inside out and possessed her with such abandon made her feel alive in a way she never imagined possible.

He said he knew she was special that first night he broke into her hotel. It was the same for her. When she saw him in the bookstore, the daunting knight coming to her rescue, she knew then there was something different about Roc. It had nothing to do with him being a gargoyle, no, this was different. It was like something inside her woke up and sat at attention, finally having found the one.

  Roc

“I love you,” Meline breathlessly chanted, ecstasy making her contort in his arms.

He never imagined three little words would mean so much. There wasn’t a single thing in any of his vaults that could buy something so precious.

“You are my whole world,” he mouthed against her shoulder, holding her tight as they made love high above the steamy pool.

Abruptly Meline stilled. This was the part he liked the most. The calm before the storm. Roc thrust harder and faster, her shallow staccato breaths and subtle trembling spurring him on. With each press, his tail undulated in her ass. His little angel was made for pleasure, loving every wicked thing he did to her, and it made him insanely hot.

He groaned into her shoulder when she grew painfully tight around his cock. He curled his hips, forcing his way deeper into her slick pussy. Then abruptly, like a clap of thunder, Meline burst with a ragged keen. The spasms that wracked her pussy and spread through her whole body were glorious. She was so unbelievably beautiful when she flew apart in his arms.

  His shaft swelled, an
d his balls tightened up, as her silky heat gripped him with wave after mind-altering wave. He roared in ecstasy as the nirvana burned through him. His cock jerked uncontrollably, again bathing her sweet pussy with his release. For the first time in his life he hoped it took root.

“Don’t move. Please, Roc, don’t move,” she begged while convulsions continued to assail her.

“I’m trying,” he panted as he landed back in the warm pool.

They sat for a long while in silence, holding each other and catching their breath.

“This is really beautiful.” Meline nodded to the flickering green lights rolling over the snowy mountains. “I never imagined seeing such a sight, much less making love to an awesome guy in a place like this.”

“I’m going to take you to see so many wonderful places, Paris, Rome...” He squeezed her tighter, his wings folding around her back, careful not to obstruct her view.

“Roc?” He heard the question in her voice.

  “What is it?”

“I lost my family and I know how hard that is. But you still have your dad. Are you sure you’re okay with him leaving?”

He looked into her hazel brown eyes and saw how sad she was for him.

“I asked him to stay, but he wouldn’t be happy here. It’s okay, you are my family now,” he reassured her.

“I know, but have you thought for just a moment about going with your dad? You wouldn’t have to hide or worry about being hunted.”

“No! There’s no way I’d leave you.” Roc shook his head adamantly. “I can’t believe you’re even suggesting it.”

He pulled away from Meline, suddenly frustrated and hurt.

“No, no, no.” She wrapped her arms around his neck before he could get far. “What if—well—what if I went with you?”

His gaze shot to hers. She was serious. Taking her to Duras was something he’d never considered.

“I’ve always wanted to travel, and if you’re not being hunted then I would be safer, too,” she quickly added.

Meline presented a convincing argument, knowing full well her safety meant everything to him.

“Petronus did say Duras welcomed other species,” he said thoughtfully.

“Then it’s settled.” Meline hopped up, scrambled out of the pool and started dressing.

“Are you sure about this?” Roc followed her and threw on his clothes.

  “Yes, and we better hurry!”

Roc was still stunned by the time they got her bundled up and they lifted into the air. He would do anything for her and she truly looked excited at the prospect of seeing a new world. She was braver than he was. As he flew north, he couldn’t help wonder if they were jumping from the frying pan into the fire.

“The GPS says we should be there,” Meline hollered, her mouth obstructed by the sleeping bag.

He panned the slopes then paused, seeing a recognizable shape sitting on a rocky outcropping. He swooped in and set down several yards behind the figure staring into the distance.

“Most of the others have already gone. You better get going, time is almost up.” Petronus waved him off without bothering to turn around. His sire thought he was someone else.

Why is he just waiting here?

The answer came to him as he noticed the way his sire’s wings hung at his back, his tail lax, not even a single twitch. Petronus looked conflicted, alone and profoundly sad. His sire was always the biggest, baddest, unmovable piece of stone he’d ever known, and yet over the last few days he’d learned differently. The uncertainty about whether this was the right decision instantly fled.

Roc glanced down at Meline to confirm she was still okay with this. She smiled then nodded toward Petronus.

“You think there’s room on that ship for two more?” he asked.

  Petronus spun around. “Rochelle!”

  “Yeah.” He grinned.

“What about your Hondassa?” Petronus looked at Meline in concern.

“I’m going, too.” Meline nodded inside her fluffy bundle.

“If that’s allowed.” Roc was suddenly nervous.

“Well, none of the other Earthians were rejected.” Petronus looked around the mountainside, as if confirming there were no other humans wandering about.

The comment about other humans intrigued him, but Meline was the only one he cared about.

“And she’ll be treated well on Duras?” He had to ask the important question.

“We are not a closed society.” Petronus nodded.

“Then let’s do this,” Meline chimed in eagerly, making Roc laugh.

“One more thing.” He frowned, recalling his old friend.

“Yes?” Petronus looked suddenly nervous, thinking perhaps he changed his mind.

“Is there’s any way I can get a message to John? Everything will easily transfer to him if not, but I don’t want him to worry and I’d like to say goodbye.”

“Oh yeah. I’m going to miss John and Jen. Maybe I can send her a message, too.” Meline snuggled into him, her eyes suddenly misting.

“I think we can find a way.” Petronus nodded.

“Okay. I’m ready if you are.” Meline cast him a brave smile.

“You never cease to amaze me.” He squeezed her against him.

  meline

“Hold onto me,” Petronus said, and Roc gripped his wing, while tightening his arm around her.

I can’t believe this. Meline was so excited as she watched Petronus swipe his hand across the jeweled surface of the sigil.

The blustering snow and rocky mountainside flickered, and her stomach felt like it was doing somersaults. She bit her lip to keep from retching. Her eyes widened when everything came into focus again, her nausea instantly forgotten.

She stared at the inside of the spaceship, mouth hanging open in amazement. It looked like metal and stone had grown into a ship, if that was somehow possible. Her neck craned up to take in the vaulted ceiling. The rock, or was it metal, spidered across the walls looking like the veins of a leaf, but was probably conduit or something. Her gaze darted to the Khargal who stepped away from a group of others.

“I think that’s Traver. Looks like he’s captain of this rescue mission.” Petronus stepped forward and greeted the Khargal in a language she didn’t understand.

“Don’t worry. This is new for me, too.” Roc set her down and peeled off the sleeping bag.

“I’m not worried, more excited than anything. It’s wild to think I once dreamt of seeing the world and now I’m going to see worlds.” She smiled up at him, barely able to contain herself.

“So, it looks like I’m keeping my promise to show you exotic places after all.” Roc hugged her against him.

“It does, but you know, none of that really matters.” She stroked his chest, feeling how strong his heartbeat was.

“Why is that, angel?” His liquid silver eyes held her gaze as he cradled the back of her head.

“I don’t really care where we go, or what we see.” She leaned in and brushed her lips against his. “As long as I have you by my side, my love, my Roc.”

And she was right, everything else faded away as Roc enveloped her in his wings and kissed her.
