  Magdalene

She stood in front of the cheval mirror scanning her body, thinking to herself, “This is by far the best body that I have used so far. I am tall and lean, almost boyish in proportion. I have a core strength that is enhanced daily by the way I feed this body, it responds well to my careful treatment”.

Marianna turned away from the mirror, she wondered just how many people on this planet would believe her if she said she had been here so many times before, in different lifetimes and bodies, yet her goal was not accomplished, in fact, there was still much to do to restore the balance that was so sorely needed on the planet.

The COL, the Councils of Light, her governing body, had sent her once again, as part of a group, to instigate the changes that were needed at this time, so that humanity would survive and live to tell another tale.

She had entered this body as the young woman who had incarnated into it, was leaving it, after a severe and terminal bout of typhoid. As that soul returned to home base, Marianna’s soul entered in seamlessly. She just walked right in. The weak and beleaguered body soon responded positively to her loving healing thoughts from within, that, plus the attention and care of the family she had walked into, recovery was assured.

Marianna could shape shift and blend into any situation and this was no exception. She was able to live the teenage and younger years through, without causing too much concern or having any notable differences to the previous occupier of this particular human vessel. The time would come, she was awaiting activation and receiving the transmissions that would undoubtedly arrive from HQ, she felt this quickening in her womb, the time had arrived, and the time was now.

Marianna gathered her things together and organised her handbag so that, at least, for the first few hours she would be able to find what was in it. It would no doubt become a mess during the day, as was its want, however, she started out well, with a smile to herself, organisation of said bag was never her forte. She was getting better though and she decided to focus on that. Only forty years in this body and she was learning how to manage modern day ‘stuff’ at last.

She checked her phone for messages and was relieved to see that nothing had come through. The mission was as yet undefined, the target unnamed. Feeling a bit like the female version of James Bond, she again flicked over her appearance. The gamin look, the sheer radiance of her skin and aura, she felt good. She was wearing an understated black tunic over leggings with knee high boots. This was her style, simple, classic, chic; she would blend into the streets of Paris with no worries at all. She had learned a long time ago in a past life that black was the colour to wear if you wanted to be invisible; it offered a cloak of protection. It was almost as good as the fictional Harry Potter’s magical cloak, yet she was physically fully present.

She left her room in search of a morning coffee and Danish pastry in the ground floor cafeteria. As she walked in to the cafe, she scanned the room, noting the different characters seated there, avoiding eye contact. She looked at the menu and then lifted a copy of the daily paper lying carelessly on the table. As she lifted it, a piece of paper fell out of it, a card, a flyer for a little café/bar in one of the Montmartre’s streets not too far from where she was staying. ‘Interesting’, she thought, she quickly looked over it for information.

Not one thing in her lifetimes had ever been a coincidence, everything had meaning and this was no exception, this was the place to go to. She quickly finished her coffee, gathered all her bits together, and took off at high speed for the door.

She went out into the wonderful, glorious sunshine, donned her shades and walked in the direction of the cafe. Cars were tooting and people were bustling to and fro, the smells from the café bars and restaurants rose up to swamp her senses. It was great to be alive on such a day. She tilted her head and face towards the sun. How could anyone demonise the sun and its vitamin-giving rays? It was a question of moderation, like everything else in life. Marianna was always careful not to get too much sun however today she allowed it to warm her, warm her bones to their very core. Living in Scotland as she did, she sometimes just missed that simple warmth at the centre of her being.

She first saw the little restaurant/bar, nestling in an alleyway, from across the street. She noticed that it had a colourful canopy and some tables and chairs outside. As it was only mid- morning there were but a few customers and those that were there were having coffees. She decided to sit down, selected a chair near the doorway and smiled at the wai
ter as he approached. ‘Bonjour Madame’

Marianna asked for her coffee, making a mental note that this was the second and final cup of that particular beverage for the day or she would be buzzing like a live wire with no particular place to go in very short order. Moderation, she remembered her own words to herself, but more importantly she was the caretaker of her vessel and needed to feed it the right food and beverages according to her blood type and DNA requirements. Sounded scientific but nothing could be further from the truth, Marianna simply felt it was common sense, living that way, her current body would last a lot longer and avoid debilitating dis-ease.

She was settling down into the chair and relaxing when the waiter arrived with her coffee.

“Merci Monsieur”, she said and as she turned her head back to her paper she caught the look of a gentleman who had been sitting inside but who had now decided to come out into the warmth of the sun.

He was tall, middle aged, handsome, grey-silver hair, cut short and neat. He reminded her of her Uncle Charles, a man of substance and distinction. He smiled. Marianna couldn’t see his eyes because his sunglasses were the very dark ones that somehow seem impenetrable and without the look in the eyes it was difficult to make a complete assessment of this man. The vibrations from his auric being were more than favourable. Marianna didn’t pick up anything untoward, however, the eyes are a window into the depths of the being, and she would have liked to be able to look deeper into the soul of this guy.

It was a possibility that he was the messenger being sent from the COL. She would wait and wonder. She didn’t have to wait long before the same guy dropped his napkin and as he bent down to retrieve it he made a remark over to her. “Beautiful day, isn’t it? Warms your whole being and brings a smile to your face”. Marianna replied, “Absolutely, I couldn’t agree more”.

“Mind if I join you?” he said and Marianna nodded her encouragement. She felt safe with him, she was listening closely to every message that her gut was providing her with and there were no alarm bells ringing. In fact, this guy seemed to be warm, comfortable and yet very powerful. She wished he would remove his specs, and in no time her request was granted as he took them off to clean them with his napkin. Marianna caught sight of the deepest cobalt blue eyes, a twinkle in them all right and a kindness. This was a deeply powerful, yet gentle man.

“My name is Michael, Archangel Michael to be exact”, he said in a gorgeous dark brown voice, as he held out his hand. “I have been waiting for you. It has taken you a while to get here, has it not?”

She knew now that she knew this being, at a different level, from a different dimension and time. There was a depth of feeling between them, a common purpose, a bond, almost as if they had known each other for aeons. She felt her gut smile within and relax.

“Yes, I suppose it has” she said quietly, “I have had to deal with an ordinary life, with all the challenges and chaos that presents. Although my life is devoted to the COL, it can be difficult to blend the day to day stuff with the bigger picture requirements”.

“I know. I just need you to know that I am here now working with you and at any time you can call me and I will be right here to help. Here are your instructions and the way forward. Take a moment, look them over, and ask any questions you need to right now”. He sat back and put his sunglasses back on and quietly sipped his coffee.

Marianna had taken the paper from his hand. He was super cool, very handsome and devastatingly attractive. Wow! Had she just thought that? Mills and Boon eat your heart out. Suddenly, Eddie Murphy’s voice rang out in her head saying, ‘Well Whoa, this is an angel we are talking about and lusting over, an angel. Are you for real?’

She was aware of all the feelings rippling through her. What was this letter going to say? She felt apprehensive. Would she be able to cope, had all the life times as a crusader for her cause prepared her well for this moment? She felt overwhelmed by a feeling of love for this guy, who, on the surface had only just turned up out the blue, and yet she knew that there was this connection, a deep soul connection. She also knew that he would be there for her no matter what. He, she knew, had the ability to materialise wherever he was needed. Without any doubt, his 12 strands of DNA were firing perfectly well. Bi-location and materialisation/dematerialisation was as easy as riding a bike to him. He was an advanced soul and some. She wondered what star seeding he actually came from, and then she was jolted back to reality as he said.

“Marianna, you haven’t even opened the letter as yet.” He took her hand in his, “don’t worry about whether you can cope or not or whether or not you are good enough to do the job. You are the one who was chosen a long time ago to deliver this message at a high level so they wouldn’t have made a mistake. You can do it, you are the one. I am here with a team to supply back up and support in whatever way that needs to be delivered and the going may get tough”.

“The opposition is lining up, they work in insidious ways to undermine the fabric of society and we have no reason to think that they are letting up in any way, shape or form. There is now urgency. The worst thing that the good people in society can do is ‘nothing’ and yet we know that the forces of good will always win out. Cheer up! Open it!”

Marianna opened the envelope slowly, hands trembling as she unfolded the paper, she scanned the writing. She read.

“Dearest Heart, You will remember you are an emissary, for, and on behalf of the Councils of Light. Now is the time to activate the transmissions that you were seeded with when you entered the earth experience in this lifetime. Go to Chartres Cathedral and enter into the Labyrinth there. Walk the labyrinth and allow the encoding to be activated as you do. You will be given your next instruction at that point. Understand that the Archangel Michael and his Legions of Light are working with you and are only a thought away. They will be at your side upon request. The Ascended Masters of the Council are also overseeing this event along with the ancient Order of the Magdalenes.

You understand, of course, that this event will affect humanity at the deepest level possible and raise the vibrations on earth to the highest available at this time. Your actions will add to the efforts of those who have gone before you however you are one of the completing catalysts.

Eat well and prepare for your journey it starts now. You will be guided from one instruction to the next. Go in peace, Go in Love and Go in the Name of the Highest of the High, Mother/Father God.”

Marianna put the note down on the table. Tears were streaming down her face. She didn’t really know why other than a feeling of love washing over and through her like a wave coming in and on to the shore. She turned to look at Michael but somehow, while she was reading the note with such great absorption, he must have slipped away. She knew now with even greater clarity exactly who he was, and knew that she could count on him at any time and call him to her.

As she continued to reflect and day dream, she realised that Archangel Michael reminded her so much of her Uncle Charles. He was handsome, distinguished, vibrant and always full of life and even as he had grown older he had seemed to get younger. He had always taken a special interest in her upbringing and was aware of her ‘alternative’ way of living and being. He had always gently teased her about it, asking her what she could do now, asked her if she was psychically channelling Shakespeare yet? They shared many silly jokes and jests about her abilities. He had the same kind of mannerisms as Michael, strong and true. How she loved him and how lucky she felt to have another, albeit from a different dimension, ‘Uncle’ like figure in her life, to look after her.

Marianna brought herself back to the moment with a start. So, there it was, she recalled the note, this was the job in hand, the mission. She felt both terrified and elated at the same time. Now she needed to get moving and make haste to Chartres Cathedral to activate the transmissions.

  Chapter 2

  Labyrinth

  The magnificence of Chartres Cathedral
rose before her like a mighty accolade and salute to God. Stonemasons, amazing craftsmen and architects, from centuries ago, had built this beautiful, timeless building. Love and a sense of real creative ability sang out from every stone. As she entered through the door into the seeming gloom of the large church she made her way to the front where the labyrinth appeared. She was hoping fervently that the labyrinth was not covered up by chairs as it could be on occasions, depending on what was taking place in the heart of the church. Tall pillars, strong and true, supported an amazing ceiling and the stained glass of the windows reflected pictures from another era, an outmoded time.

An era of religion where people, like sheep, were led along a certain path without being encouraged to look around or find out for themselves what life was all about. They were led along without question, however, with fear, judgement and retribution being threatened by the barrow load from a seemingly angry and intransigent God who guaranteed an afterlife of pain and sorrow. Without doubt, great ways to divide, dominate, manipulate and exploit the people of the world. Take away their personal power and put them in fear.

Ah, the good old days. Now religions had fallen by the wayside, the last bastion being the remaining Pope in the Vatican in Rome although it was felt that his days were numbered as the ability to control the masses had disappeared along with any credibility the church had ever had.

The tales of sexual abuse perpetrated by some of the priests as well as their materialism and greed being perhaps the last straw for the average man and woman in the street to take on board as being in any way spiritual.

Their days of dominance, manipulation and control were almost at an end. This church that had begun with such high hopes after the supposed death of such an avatar as Yeshua ben Joseph of Nazareth begun, apparently in honour of his name, had failed miserably to follow his simple word, which was and is: Love is the way. The Church of LOVE is within you. We are all equal, men and women, black and white, and all hues in between.
