The Magic of the Magdalene Key Page 12

by Patricia Iris Kerins

Marianna was worried about Adam. She hadn’t heard from him and he was well overdue. She felt uncomfortable, and yet, she knew he would be OK. She wished he was there, that his calming and reassuring influence was with her.

She didn’t realise it but a very senior Italian policeman was at that time vouching for Adam and Benito as they came before the judge. They were given bail, and would be summoned to appear before the judge at a later date. They were not to leave the country and passports were confiscated. The senior policeman seemed to disappear just as quickly as he had appeared after their freedom was gained.

Adam and Benito were now on their way to join Marianna at her safe house with her host. Adam was so distracted he did not notice that they were being tailed all the way back to the house. It would seem that the benign senior policeman had in fact wanted their release so that he could recover the rest of the stolen artefact. They were aware of the removal of significant pieces from the box - that being more important than them being locked up. At all costs, the box and its contents must be returned to and remain undiscovered in the vaults, or life would indeed be unbearable for most.

  Chapter 31

  Uncle Charles

Marianna was already planning how she would get out of Italy with the Magdalene information. She knew there was an urgency to this because those who were missing it would be all out to recover it and hide it away.

She decided to call her Uncle Charles who lived in Scotland beside Loch Lomond in a beautiful restored castle, Buchan Castle. She hadn’t seen him for a while, but he had always taken a keen interest in her progress through life and occasionally she sent him a postcard or an email to update him. It was a few Christmas’s ago that they had met and enjoyed a weekend together in his beautiful home.

His fortune had apparently been amassed in India many years ago. She wasn’t quite sure from what or where. She simply accepted that this was his heritage and had mused often at how lucky he was and how lucky she was to be able to visit with him and escape from the sometime pressures of day to day survival that she experienced.

Uncle Charles was delighted to hear from her and looked forward to having his driver meet her at Glasgow Airport. She was just to call and give arrival times, and of course, Adam, and any other members of her party were most welcome. He was also looking forward to hearing all about this mysterious adventure she was on.

Marianna replaced the receiver with a sigh of relief, which was accompanied by a dull flat feeling in the 3rd power centre of her body around the solar plexus. She dismissed this as being worry and anxiety about Adam.

As if by theatrical cue, Adam entered into the room, swept her up in his arms with a sheepish Benito following along behind.

“Thank God you are safe”, he said and kissed her thoroughly, “as are we”.

Benito was shifting from foot to foot rather embarrassed at the outward expression of love, with a little hint of lust, in front of him.

Marianna blurted out all that had transpired at high speed. She announced that they were to go to Uncle Charles to get space to work out what to do when Virgil finally cracked the code, which she felt he would do any time. He was nearly there.

  Chapter 32

  Virgil

Virgil was mystified. He could decipher most of the written Hebrew and yet there were one or two symbols that he just couldn’t get. He came into the room with Marianna, Adam, Benito and the couple who were the hosts of this rather odd gathering. They were in the lounge by this time having tea and relaxing as best they could, as they awaited his pronouncements.

“There is a sign in the middle of the writing, an odd looking thing. I don’t know why I am saying that, but I feel that this sign could be an ancient musical symbol, one that I could only get the information about at the Conservatoire of Musical History in London. I will make haste there”.

He had said all of that as if he was hypnotised, not addressing anyone in particular. Virgil slowly finished his tea and then began to take his farewells.

Marianna said to him, “After you have found what you are looking for Virgil, please bring your findings to Buchan Castle just outside Glasgow in Scotland. It’s my Uncle Charles’s place, we will be safe there. It is not something you can disclose over the phone or anywhere else. Then, we need to decide what we do with the information. My guidance tells me the message will be put out through social media. It will go viral, not through what we might regard to be the usual channels”.

Virgil nodded and smiled. “Will do” and left. They waved good-bye to him through the lounge windows. Marianna wondered if he would be safe, if he would survive, as he sought the Truth for Spirit.

Adam, reading her thoughts, put his arm around her shoulder, “faith and trust, always faith and trust. We are working as one with the Highest of the High. We will all prevail, and that includes Virgil, on whichever dimension he chooses”.

“How are you going to get out of the country without your passport?”, Marianna stared at Adam, he had forgotten that the documents had been held by the police.

“Good question”, he replied. “We might need to get to the UK by more unorthodox methods. We don’t want to raise suspicion that we are moving on. They would instantly cover all the ports and airports and we would be apprehended once again”. Adam had a faraway look in his eyes as he pondered this next challenge.

  Followers

The two bruisers sitting in the car had almost fallen asleep when they saw Virgil in his car. He came out of the drive of the rather run down old house that Adam and Benito had led the way to only a couple of hours ago. They decided to alert their friends who were situated down the road, and the senior man patched a call through to VM to update him. They knew that this guy could get out of the country. He would lead them to the next part of the puzzle, whereas the others were well rooted to where they were.

“Boss, the guy who is doing the decoding has just left. We are following him, looks as if he is heading for the airport. What should we do? Do we let him go or what”? He listened intently to the reply, which affirmed that there were agents waiting for him at the other side of the road. They thought his destination to be London.

“Get back to the house and keep an eye on the others. This guy will be picked up wherever he flies, trains or drives to. They are just waiting on him to book his tickets”. The orders had been issued and the thugs complied.

The car swung around and went back to the old house, the shambling cottage that stood at the side of the road. They found a place to hide where they couldn’t be observed from the house. Little did they know that this ploy was really unnecessary as those who had been within had gone. As soon as the slim opportunity had presented itself, all had flown the nest.

  Chapter 34

  Flight to Scotland

They arrived at the small abandoned airfield about 15 miles from the safe house. Marianna had taken care to pack the contents of the pouch securely and placed them in her handbag. Everything was intact, apart from the paper that Virgil had taken to London. All was well.

Marianna had phoned Uncles Charles to say that they couldn’t come in via ‘normal’ routes, as Adam was now without passport and papers, and they wanted to keep a really low profile. He had agreed to have them met at an obscure little field, offering his own personal jet, although Marianna felt he had hired this one for the journey, as it wasn’t up to his usual opulent standards. The plan was to refuel at Montpellier, in France, and then fly on over to Scotland to a small airfield near the West coast where they would decant.

Everyone was safely on board, doors closed, seatbelts fastened. They enjoyed a rather bumpy take off, and then settled down, for what would be a fairly long flight in such a small plane. For a while they could all lie back and relax and review what was to be done next.

Marianna was feeling so grateful that she had the perfect assistant in Adam to get the message
out globally. He was great with computers and the social media, so he would have no problems getting it all set up to put out the message - whatever form it may take. Getting it to go viral was another challenge. How would he do that? One could not be assured that it would be picked up. It needed to be accompanied by some kind of sensationalism to draw attention to it. Such was the sad truth these days.

Adam was a step ahead of Marianna. He had already arrived at that point in his ruminations, and his brain was whirling trying to find answers to this challenge. Marianna could feel the electricity from him, as his mind searched every avenue of his brain to find answers.

She smiled, as she knew that answers would come from his Heart’s mind and the Heart and Soul of the Highest of the High - when the time was right. Everything was always in Divine Right Timing and it would go out and would be received in all different manners of way.

She closed her eyes, just for a moment. She would rest and let go and allow her brain, her mind and her heart to free fall and clear. That way, it would open to receive any guidance that her higher authorities were trying to present.

Adam took a leaf out of Marianna’s book and closed his eyes. He closed down his struggle to find answers. He began to muse over how he was where he was in this precise moment. He had gone on a holiday, met Marianna again and since then, his life had taken off, totally on fast-forward.

How often he had thought that his life was complete by spreading his spiritual knowledge and wisdom. Showing others the way, and yet he had known there was more to it than that. A way that flashed to him occasionally, just out of his reach. It had actually come into being. This is what he was destined to do. The difference he was meant to make and bring to humanity. Supporting, protecting and nurturing this Divine Feminine Energy not only within himself, but also protecting its purpose on the outside, as it makes it way towards restoring balance on the planet.

The Masculine must balance with the Feminine. This balance had to be brought in soon. How long could Mother Earth sustain the abuse and destruction that was being meted out by profit seeking corporations who couldn’t give a shit about tomorrow, as long as they get big bonuses today? The elite of the world couldn’t care less. In fact, they distorted life for their own ends, keeping people in fear through mass hypnosis on the TVs and airwaves of the world.

Hunger and starvation, abuses of all kinds were being delivered, not only to humanity, but to the animals and the earth as well. Balance, common sense, love, compassion, understanding and peace needed to be restored. He believed that they were well on the road to delivering this through this something, this key, message - whatever it is. Ancient wisdom it may be, but never more needed than at this time, this day.

He believed that over time the integrity of humanity’s DNA had been compromised. The original thirteen helix DNA was distorted, so that humans had come to believe that they were their bodies - and that was that. No spiritual content, no understanding of the eternal flame within and the soul’s purpose. Separation and a shallow ‘dog eat dog’ attitude prevailing for survival, power and greed.

Would your average bunny get the message? Would they understand? Would they pay attention? Would they ridicule? Would they literally die laughing at it, as food runs out? This would undoubtedly happen when there are no bees to pollinate the flowers for fruit, vegetables and grains.

What if the water becomes so polluted, so acidic, there is nothing to drink? The chemicals used on the earth polluting the air we breathe, toxicity inside and out reaching unliveable survivable levels.

Tears were falling from his eyes, yet it was his heart that cried out.

“World! Wake up! Listen to your heart beat. You can’t eat money. You can’t breathe or drink money. You need to change and shift your beliefs. Let us believe in peace, not war, in equality, integrity and honesty, and let go of the corruption, poverty and squalor. What can we all do to make people awaken to their plight? We are all one. It is a common responsibility. We are all in this together. We are the generation who holds the survival, the future of Homo sapiens - and this beautiful planet, in its hands.”

Adam opened his eyes, wiped the tears away, and looked out of the window at the azure blue sky that they were soaring through. Not long till touchdown and the next steps of the adventure. He realised that he didn’t often allow himself to go to that place where he acknowledged what was going wrong in the world. He usually kept to the positives, however, he also realised that saying nothing and remaining passive was not an option. The world had to address these issues, and soon, or his children, should he ever have any, and grandchildren, simply wouldn’t survive. Humanity would go the way of past civilisations, down the pan and a lot sooner than those worried about their next pay cheque could possibly imagine.

He drew himself up in his chair. That’s enough of the negativity for one day. He turned to Marianna as her head began to move on his shoulder. She too was coming around, and back into the present moment. He smiled deep into her eyes connecting with her soul. Acknowledging silently, tenderly that they were twin flames, soul mates and here for a purpose. They were delivering their contract on time, and in tandem. He squeezed her hand in his. Not long now - not long now. The words didn’t have to be said - they were implicitly understood.

The touchdown to refuel in France went without incident. They disembarked for a short while to stretch their legs and breathe in the pleasant summer air, and catch some of the sun’s beautiful rays. Scotland was only a few hours away now and they were feeling more rested and ready to go forward to meet the next segment of their journey.

  Chapter 35

  Uncle Charles

The black Rolls Royce awaited them as they landed at the small airport near the seaside town of Helensburgh.

Bradford, Uncle Charles’ man, escorted them to the vehicle before stowing their gear away in the boot of the car. The others were ushered into another car positioned further away from where the aircraft had landed.

They arrived at Castle Buchan about 45 minutes later, and Uncle Charles greeted them on the front stairs. Laughing and joking, asking what on earth they were up to that could possibly cause all this clandestine behaviour. He would hear all about it over cocktails later in the day. Meantime, he left them to go to their rooms and settle in before exploring the castle and its gorgeous grounds. It even had a golf course that was open to the public, although membership was very exclusive.

As they strolled in the gardens, Marianna shared with Adam that she was impatient to hear from Virgil about what the next step or clue was on their quest.

“When do you think he will arrive?” she asked Adam, who smiled indulgently at her.

“Que sera sera, Marianna, we have to wait until he has the information. You know Virgil. He will be studiously pursuing his goal. He will be in touch as soon as he can. Anyway, I thought you were the psychic?” He was laughing as he turned to look further down the fields.

Adam pointed at some deer standing still not a few hundred yards from where they stood. They fell silent, observing these magnificent beasts, stately and steadfast in their gaze towards the couple as if assessing them for some purpose.

Binoculars from one of the upstairs windows were just as steadfastly focussed on Adam and Marianna, observing their every move, every nuance of their behaviours and if the observer had been a lip reader all the conversation could have been noted down. As it was, Uncle Charles could see the couple were very much in love, absorbed in each other and felt this could be a good thing, something that could be used perhaps as leverage later. Life was like a game of chess and he excelled at chess - and bridge for that matter.

  Chapter 36

  The Cocktail Hour

It seemed quite odd that Uncle Charles still observed the pre- dinner cocktail ritual that had been passed down through generations. Everyone had assembled all spruced up, although not in the elegant finery perhaps of the Downton Abbey era. They we
re certainly all tickety boo as Billy Connelly would say.

Drinks were handed around with canapés, and everyone seemed at ease, conversing and chattering. Adam and Marianna were joined by their immediate Magdalene friends. Uncle Charles had called in some of his local worthies from the villages nearby. They were fourteen in all, and ready for a welcome dinner.

They went through to the dining room about half an hour later. The seating was deftly organised by Bradford who held Marianna’s chair for her as she sat down. She admitted to herself that it was lovely to be treated with such respect in a world where there was a lot of pushing and shoving and a ‘me first’ attitude. It was simply refreshing to be treated so well.

Uncle Charles exuded his ‘bon homie’ charm and it was obvious that he had quite a few of the local ladies wound round his little finger.

He cast his eyes Marianna’s way as he enquired, “Marianna, what is all the Hoo Ha about, leaving Italy with such undue haste and under a cloud”?

Marianna smiled, took a deep breath and said, “Well, we are involved in a bit of research for something important and very dear to my heart, and we are hopeful of resolving the whole thing in the next few weeks. I can’t say any more than this at the moment, as it is really confidential at this stage”.

Uncle Charles beaming across at her and said, “Can’t I help you, why not share a little more? You could have the entire Hampton machine at your disposal young lady, to uncover whatever you need to complete your quest”.

Marianna had never before felt the degree of discomfort she was now feeling in her Uncle’s presence. Intuitively, she felt he knew something more than he was saying. She had no idea how. She was getting a feeling in her stomach and gut that was warning her. It was her on board alarm system, and it was fully operational at this moment, and she had learned the hard way not to ignore its loud call.
