  No doubt, It’s a destruction of my own doing. I could have said no—and maybe I should have said no—but they are the only ones who understand what has been happening to me. I should be dead. Like, dead dead. But I’m not. Or at least, I don’t believe I am. I’ve returned from the dead, and although my purpose is unclear, I’m sure about one thing.

  I was brought back for a reason.

  One of Tigris’ fondest memories, was in the sixth grade, when her teacher read her story, “The Case of The Missing Pepperoni”, out loud to the class.
