Read The Wizards 1: Combat Wizard Storyline:

Suppose an experimental training program produces something unintended, an ordinary human with extraordinary mental abilities? Psychokinetics, Telepathy, Precognition, and more?
What now?
What can be done with such a person? How can the investment of time and money be recouped?
And is there any way to control such a one, to convince him to follow orders, even shut down those talents if he rebels? Or shut down the rebel if he becomes disillusioned?
What to do with him?
Putting that extraordinary human into the ultimate stressful situation, one that has driven people crazy, is probably not the best idea…
From the Author
Most will read this book as adventure with a science/psionics premise that the characters can act against.
As with all my books, there's an underlying theme I try to explore; in this case, I examine how combat (and military service in general) changes individuals. If you want to understand more about how I perceive this topic, it's best not to concentrate on individuals and instead review the major episodes between characters in your mind. Did you find their behavior ordinary, something you might do? Is did they react differently? Was the reason for that obvious to you? If you had to think too hard about it, then it's likely that the character interactions have to do with my own experiences as a soldier and with other soldiers.
Yeah, in a twenty-one year career, I knew a lot of people. Some were better than others. Many I called friend, and I still do. But not all.
About the Author
Writing novels is my 'day job' in a sense, but I'm also a practicing scientist to an extent. I'm currently working on an improved experiment designed to show how the effects of global warming can be reduced. I expect to go public with that this summer and publish an essay describing the science behind the simple device, complete with photos, descriptions, and locations where a reader can examine the science for him/herself.
My other love is music. I'm an amateur but I perform at least weekly, most commonly for elderly people. I do this in Valencia County, New Mexico, where I've lived for the past fifteen years. I sing and play guitar most of the time, but I've also jammed with electric bass, banjo, and piano.
I'm a frequent commentator on Facebook with interests in world affairs, politics, economics, technology and science, and international relations. I also write occasionally on my two blogs, one devoted to writing and publishing, the other to nonfiction essays. The information is found in the About the Author section at the end of each book.
