Marianne Jones' work has won numerous awards. She lives and writes in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Married, with two daughters and two granddaughters, she enjoys acting, singing and theatre. Although not all her words are carved in stone, three of her poems are, having been installed at Prince Arthur's Landing in Thunder Bay. The Serenity Stone Murder is her fourth book.
