Miles Of Pleasure: Chapter 1Look at him standing over there surrounded by all those women...acting all smug and showing off his chiseled body! He thinks he's Mister Perfect, and those women do nothing but feed his over-inflated ego, like it's not big enough already.Chapter 2"Dude! That was so fucking awesome!" Jayden yelled as he ran back into the dressing room. He felt like he was on a high.Chapter 3"I want nothing to do with you, anyway!" Ashton yelled at Kaylee as she fled to her bunk. Kaylee's angry, calm stare that had rattled him so badly a moment before now made him feel empty and not a little furious. His guilt quickly flashed over to anger, and that mixed with some alcohol made for a pretty messy cocktail.Chapter 4Brandon knocked on the door of the band'stourbus. He knew that he had some apologizing to do, and wondered if there was any way that he could ever make up for the night before. He was dreading the visit, and wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible. For all he knew, she wouldn't even want to talk to him.Chapter 5Another city, another concert. The excitement was gone for Kaylee. No longer was each new place an adventure; now it was something that struck fear to her very core. After each concert, instead of hanging out in the dressing room, she went to the bus to be alone. When she and the band were in large groups, she made sure that one of the guys was by her side so that nothing happened to her.Chapter 6Day by day, Kaylee started to regain her normal self. Though she was still hurting, she knew that she couldn't let the man who almost stole her innocence steal the rest of her life too. She knew that she would never forget that night, but little by little, she was moving past it.Chapter 7Kaylee rolled over to face Ashton. She felt his arms tight around her waist. She ran her hands through the back of his hair, and softly brushed her lips against his. As their lips touched, a thousand little shocks ran through her body.Chapter 8Kaylee got back to her room to find Ryver packing her stuff. "Hi," she said softly as she walked into the room.Chapter 9Kaylee and ashton were the last to get to the limo that was waiting for them in front of the hotel. They got in and Kaylee looked around. She saw Jayden and Colton on the other side of the long black limousine, semi-dressed up, along with their dates. She knew that Jayden had arranged their dates, in order for them to portray the right image, since neither one had any girls who they wanted to bring. The way they talked among themselves - a little too formal and careful - said that they were all complete strangers trying to make the best of the night.Chapter 10The next day, Kaylee woke to a relentless pounding in her head. She rolled over in bed, moving very carefully, hoping that if she moved her head to a different spot on the pillow, it wouldn't hurt so much.Chapter 11"So when do I get sprung from this joint? I can't wait to have some real food again!" Kaylee asked her brother after her third day in the hospital. He had just gotten back from talking to her doctorin the hallway.Chapter 12"I don't know Jenny. On one hand, he's such a player and he can irritate me no end. On the other hand, he makes me feel like I am the only person in the world when I'm with him, and I just get this rush." She paused. "He can be so sweet and caring sometimes; but there are the other times, and when they're bad, they're horrible. I just don't know what to make of the whole situation."Chapter 13The next week was good for Kaylee. She and Ashton spent a lot of quality time together, doing normal, everyday things. They watched television, hung out with friends, and caught up on some much needed sleep...together. For the most part they got along, with only a few mild spats peppered here and there.Chapter 14Jenny was walking down the hall from her bedroom to the kitchen the morning after the party when she saw Kaylee and Ashton come out of Kaylee's room together. It was very apparent that they had spent the night together, and both of them had just woken up.Chapter 15Two days later, Ashton, Colton, Jayden, and Kaylee sat in the recording studio with the band's manager, Cody. Emotions were running rampant, with no clear plan in sight. If only they knew if or when Noah was coming back.Chapter 16"So here's the deal...we need a way to get Brittany away from Noah, at least for a little while so that you can talk to him," Kaylee told Ashton.Chapter 17Ashton froze as soon as the words caressed his ears, and he gently moved her so that he could roll away. It was one of the hardest things he had ever done, but he did it, then sat up in bed.Chapter 18Kaylee felt like she had been floating since Ashton had made his declaration. She hadn't expected it, and it still didn't feel quite real. like In some ways, she felt it was too soon, but then she realized they had had feelings for each other long before they ever got together.Chapter 19The drive home seemed to take forever, when in reality, it only took ten minutes. Those ten minutes slowly ticked off the clock, the anticipation growing with each second that passed. When their destination was finally reached, there was a mad scramble to get in the house.Chapter 20The next morning, Ashton awoke and reached over for Kaylee's hand. "I'm sorry," he whispered into her hair. "I'm sorry for leaving when I should have stayed to talk. I'm sorry for drinking so much and staying out late. I'm sorry for whatever I said last night because I'm sure it was something stupid and incoherent. I'm sorry for holding you captive and making you sleep in the same bed with me, especially when I'm sure it was the last place on earth that you wanted to be. And mostly, I'm sorry that I am so bad at relationships and am a horrible boyfriend."Chapter 21The ride from the lobby to the 18th floor seemed to last forever. Trying to keep some semblance of propriety while in public, their need for each other made it hard. His hands trailed a path up and down her sides and stomach as he stood behind her. Her hand 'innocently' made its way between them, grazing his package that was poking into her backside.Chapter 22"Come on, let's get some lunch before we have to head to the studios," Ashton told Kaylee, dragging her out of bed by her hand.Chapter 23Outside of the hotel, Kaylee sat in the limo waiting for the guys so that they could leave to pick Janis up. They had been signing autographs for at least fifteen minutes now, and she was getting antsy. She understood that they had an obligation to the fans, but sitting in a limo all alone tends to get boring when there is nothing to keep a person occupied.Chapter 24Once the deal was sealed and Kaylee was the newest member of Miles of Pleasure, they realized that Janis's name was being called to the stage. She blushed but went for the stage quickly and pulled Noah along with her.Chapter 25Noah ran into the room to find his sister sitting with Colton, her shoulders shaking as she sobbed. Once Noah took over and pulled his sister into a hug, Colton went in search of Ashton.Chapter 26It had been five days, five very long days since Kaylee and Ashton had last spoken. One hundred and twenty hours had passed since their last exchange of words. In a normal world, it would have been undesirable, but alright. Living together in a house, it would have been annoying. But living together on a tour bus where the quarters were tight, five days of tension and silence was insufferable.Chapter 27By the time the rest of the guys got back later that night, Kaylee and Ashton were sitting at the front table in a heated game of Crazy Eights. They were laughing and joking, which was so refreshing to the other bandmates, though their choice of card games had the others confused. Also by Stephanie NicolePages of Miles of Pleasure :
