Jewel Johanssen had run from her marriage eight years before, and made a
new life for herself. She's now a doctor with the GAO (Global Aid Org)
and her mission is to provide care for the indigenous people of Brazil.
The last person she thought she'd ever see again, esp. in the Brazilian
jungles was Roque Aguiar Da Costa her ex-husband. Only according to
Roque he never divorced her, and he's taking over the GAO mission. When
Jewel threatens to leave the mission, Roque declares that he has enough
power with the GAO to make sure she'll never have another mission in
Brazil. Working so closely together, Roque quickly realizes he's under
estimated Jewel's dedication to her work, and that their chemistry is
even more explosive now than it was eight years before. He needs to get
her out of his system, so he begins his seduction. Jewel bears deep
emotional scars from the loss of their baby years ago, and the secret
that she can't bear children is one that bolsters her resolve not to
