The anger and frustration of being separated from her siblings was compounded by Lundyn's placement with a suburban white Christian family. Away from everything and everyone she had ever known and being thrust into a world of comfort only reinforced Lundyn's anger - Why didn't her mother love her enough to stop using drugs? Why couldn't her siblings stay together? Who was she to deserve being placed with a loving foster family?
