Read All My Sins Remembered Storyline:

The known galaxy is ruled by four great empires: the Gadari Republic, the Multani Confederation, the Rejai Empire, and the Mandil. Three of the four Great Empires are so involved with bickering amongst themselves that they cannot be bothered with things such as technological development, or exploration. The real powers of the galaxy belongs to the corporations. Unhindered by petty things such as politics, they cross political lines with impunity, and sell their wares to the highest bidder. This new paradigm soon gives birth to a new movement. Those who choose to seek their fortune through hiring themselves out as mercenaries to one empire or another. Soon, the arena of conflict between empires shifts its focus from that of standing military forces trained and equipped by their respective empires to that of a military comprised of private military companies. Three of the four empires together decided to reform their militaries in what is now known as The PMC Accord, in which most of their standing armies were disbanded, to be replaced by PMC’s. The Mandil alone refused to participate, remaining isolated from the other Great Empires. Among these mercenary units, one man distinguished himself over the course of about thirty years. A man named Hawke Bakore. Born a Gadari, Hawke fought first as a Gadari Republic Marine for several years. When the Gadari Republic disbanded the Republic Marine Corps, Hawke, along with this best friend and mentor Nathan Schultz, went on to create the Hawke’s Talons, a Private Military Company that exclusively contracted to the Gadari Republic. After three more years, Hawke’s mercenary unit purchased their first spacecraft. In two more years, their unit was able to add space-based operations to their list of services. Hawke’s Talons grew in fame and infamy. They won major victories over their enemies, and their price tag went up accordingly. This went on for fifteen more years. Hawke is no longer a young man, reaching what is considered to be midlife at the age of nearly sixty. He has endured much, and sacrificed all in service to the Gadari Republic, but now he wonders if all of it was worth the price he has paid as Hawke’s final journey is about to begin, a journey seeking some kind of redemption. The Heaven’s Gaze, a massive capital class command carrier, is nearly complete, and Hawke and her crew will embark on a voyage of exploration, the first of its kind in nearly a hundred years. However Hawke’s final journey takes a few unexpected twists and turns. It all begins with one last mission he must complete before he can retire, and finally be done with it all. Maybe…just maybe…he can begin the process of buying back his soul, and rediscovering his humanity, but first he must find out what is going on in the Farstar Sector...**
