Read Trinity: Military War Dog Storyline:
A year ago in Afghanistan, Green Beret Heath Daniel’s career was destroyed. Along with his faith. Now he and his military war dog, Trinity, train other dogs and their handlers. Though his passion is to be back in action, the medical discharge has forced Heath—and Trinity—to the sidelines. Military intelligence officer Darci Kintz is captured while secretly tracking the Taliban. Only one dog can handle the extreme conditions to save her. Trinity. Only one man can handle Trinity. Time is running out on the greatest—and most dangerous—mission of their lives.Review"Dangerous mysteries drive this moving and compelling military dog story. So vivid and contemporary that it could be happening here and now!"- Kathy Tyers, author of the Firebird series"If 'care about the protagonists' is the essential element of good fiction, Trinity is masterful. A war dog, an intrepid, multiethnic girl and a healing former Green Beret mix it up with the enemy on the mountain cliffs of Afghanistan. Ronie Kendig has penned a page-turner of the first order."-Eric Wiggin, author of Skinny Dipping at Megunticook Lake and Emily's Garden"Dodge bullets, cling by your fingertips to an icy cliff—then fall heart first for a wounded hero and his incredible military war dog. You won't sleep, but please remember to breathe. Ronie Kendig's rapid-fire fiction: Oorah!"—Candace Calvert, author of the Mercy Hospital series and Trauma PlanTrinity will capture your heart right away and will not let go until the last person is saved. I didn't realize just how important these dogs were to the military (sorry, I have a very limited scope of what our military does!). I did't realize that MWDs earned ranks along with their trainers. Trinity has a higher rank than her faithful friend Ghost. I have a much greater appreciation now of the military and the training that takes place because of what Ronie has written into her books. She is a "military brat" who extensively researches her subjects before writing on them.Thank you, Ronie for yet another great book and for helping me to appreciate MWDs and other beautiful creatures even more!(Julie Johnson My Own Little Corner of the World 20120706)Trinity is a poignant and contemporary novel overflowing with suspense, mystery, and danger. Ronie Kendig returns as strong as ever with her new series, A Breed Apart. The author brings to life the worries, fears, and the sense of loss so many service members experience after an injury while serving in the line of duty. Heath’s journey to rediscovery is one of heart-wrenching emotions with a hope-filled conclusion.Strong writing and vivid descriptions place the reader in the middle of the action. Within a span of a few minutes, I went from choking up, to laughing out loud, to feeling like my heart would leap out of my chest, and then the cycle would begin again as I experienced the characters’ stories as though they were my own. With so many men and women currently serving overseas in the military, Trinity felt like a window through which I could peer into their world and catch a small glimpse of the struggles, fears, and hopes they face every day. I strongly recommend this novel to suspense fans.(Elizabeth Olmedo Fiction Addict 20120703) Book DescriptionReeling from the effects of a traumatic brain injury that ripped his military career from his hands, former Green Beret Heath Daniels struggles to find new purpose with his war dog, Trinity.
