One summer Saturday, at 11:58 a.m., a minute turned up missing. Only the three Stolidmeyer children and their father noticed. Lily, age 12, Ivy, age 10, and Abacus, age 2, along with their parents sought to find answers. Unearthing a huge, mysterious object on the Stolidmeyer farm was only the beginning. The first order of business was to find out what the device was, and how it worked. Opening the device only led to more questions. What was this object? How did it get buried on the Stolidmeyer farm? How could they use it? The Stolidmeyer children rode their bikes down the two lane street of the small one stoplight town. Lily was towing little two year old Abacus, while Ivy peddled beside them. The day had been spent thinking of uses for this new machine. The children stopped abruptly as they passed the local detective agency. The sign in the window was exactly what they had been looking for. It read, ‘$100 reward for information leading to the recovery of a gold pocket watch’.
