Daddy’s Kilted Friend

by Callahan, Kelli

Lachlan: Did you get in trouble?

Amelia: Nah, I wasn’t the only one that had to do the walk of shame after the Frat Party Crawl.

Lachlan: Hopefully, there wasn’t too much shame in yours.

Amelia: Not a single bit. :)

  Lachlan: Good. I miss you…

Amelia: I miss you too. I have a few sorority events this week, but I might be able to sneak away Wednesday night.

  Lachlan: It’s a date.

  Amelia: Cabin, or…

Lachlan: Do you want to go back there?

Amelia: That’s all I can think about right now.

  Lachlan: Okay, I’ll arrange it.

Amelia: Will you wear your kilt again?

Lachlan: Maybe. I need to get it dry cleaned. You made quite a mess…

  Amelia: Sorry. :)

  Lachlan: No, you’re not.

Amelia: Nope! I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Lachlan: I’ll put a rush on the dry cleaning.

Amelia and I texted for a little longer, but she had some schoolwork to catch up on, and I didn’t want to keep her from it. I had taken up enough of her time as it was. A quick glance at my emails revealed nothing particularly interesting. I had some confirmations that I had been entered into the system and was eligible to substitute if someone needed me, but that was a waiting game.

Maybe it’s time for me to just look at some other options. Teaching seemed like a good idea, but I can’t sit around and wait forever. Plus, being a professor at her college is basically off the table now—even if the job was an option.

I stretched out on the bed to contemplate my decision and reached for my laptop to see what kind of opportunities were out there. I didn’t have high hopes because part of the reason I settled in New York after college was due to the lack of job options in Georgia. There were some in Atlanta, but that was too far away—especially after meeting Amelia. There was no way that I was going to give up what we had, even if I had to blow through some of my savings to stay in Athens.

Fuck it. There are a few companies around here that are hiring. They won’t pay what I’m worth, but it’s better than sitting on my ass.

I polished up my resume and submitted it to the companies that were looking for someone with my talents. Technically, I was overqualified for every job I applied for. I didn’t relish the idea of becoming an office drone again, but the alternative seemed worse. My uncle was charitable and kind enough to let me crash at his house for longer than he should have. I was starting to feel like a bum, and I wasn’t cut out for that shit. If a teaching opportunity came my way in the future, I could always quit whatever job I got, but if I couldn’t work at Amelia’s college, I didn’t know if that was even in my future anymore.

Maybe I’ll get a couple of interviews early in the week, and I’ll have something to distract myself with until Wednesday night…

Once I was at peace with my decision, thoughts of Amelia immediately returned to my mind. I couldn’t even fathom how I had fallen for her so quickly, but I loved the way it made me feel. I had more internal energy and personal balance than ever before. The reasons we shouldn’t be together haunted me when I first met her, but they had reached the point of simply being mundane. I didn’t care if she was my friend’s daughter or a student at the university where I planned to teach when I first came back to Georgia.

I’m not giving her up. No matter what. Our relationship may be new, but it means too much to me.

  Chapter Seventeen

  Amelia

My sorority duties kept me busy on Monday and Tuesday, but I thought about Lachlan constantly. Everything I did seemed to be done with him in mind. I stayed up late to finish all of my assignments so that I wouldn’t have anything to do on Wednesday, and I pushed my sorority sisters to get as much done on our projects as possible to avoid an emergency meeting that I wouldn’t be able to get out of. While I had an ulterior motive, it appeared like dedication to Kira, who complimented me a couple of times. If working towards a nice evening with Lachlan kept me in her good graces, then that was a nice bonus on top of what I truly cared about.

“Okay, what is going on with you.” Chrissy walked into my room and sat down on the edge of my bed while I was going through my outfits.

“What do you mean?” I gave her a side-eyed glance and kept searching for the perfect outfit to wear on my date with Lachlan.

“You have been a ball of energy for the last two days.” She folded her arms across her chest. “It’s okay to relax—I’m pretty sure you’ve earned your spot. At this point, you’re just making the rest of us look bad.”

“I’m just doing what needs to be done.” I turned towards her and shrugged. “My spot may not be guaranteed. I’m not a legacy.”

“Fine…” She let out a sigh. “Don’t tell anyone I told you this, but I overheard Mallory and Kira talking. You made the cut.”

“Seriously?” I blinked a couple of times in surprise.

“Yes, Mallory even said that she’s going to be your Big Sister—apparently, the two of you had a moment where you bonded?” Chrissy tilted her head inquisitively.

“We talked…” My words trailed off as I remembered our conversation on the way to the Frat Party Crawl.

She must have been more open to my suggestions than she let on.

“It must have been a good conversation.” Chrissy smiled. “Especially if Mallory is going to be your Big Sister. I’m getting stuck with Lindsey. All she does is snap her fingers and repeat what Kira says—I doubt I’m going to learn much from her.”

“There are worse options.” I shrugged. “Lindsey seems to still be involved, unlike some of the others that are just coasting until they graduate.”

“True.” Chrissy nodded in agreement. “I’m looking forward to not having to worry about the hazing anymore. That will be a relief, even if it hasn’t been that bad lately.”

“Yeah, I’d prefer not to live in fear of her paddling us.” I rolled my eyes.

The only person I want to spank me is Lachlan, and I have a feeling that’s going to happen later tonight…

“Next year, we’ll have to watch all the new girls go through the same thing.” She sighed. “Unless Mallory decides to abolish it altogether.”

  “Who knows.” I shrugged.

I’m going to do my best to make sure that happens…

After Chrissy left, I finished choosing my outfit for the date and decided to check in with my parents. The main reason I needed to call them was because I needed to know if I should reserve them a spot for Parents’ Weekend at Pi Beta Phi. My mother said she would talk to my father about it, but she hadn’t gotten back to me yet, and I needed to RSVP for them if they were coming.

The conversation ended up being fairly brief. My mother wanted to come, but my father didn’t think they would be able to make it. She planned to talk to him and see if he would change his mind, but I knew it would be an effort in futility. My father usually made his decisions silently with very little discussion, but he didn’t slam the door on anything. He liked to leave people with a little shred of hope. I found that out when he missed a few of my important events growing up that he said he might show up for.

I was disappointed, but it wasn’t enough to ruin my evening. I was going to get to see Lachlan again, and there was nothing that was going to bring me down from that high. I finished everything that I needed to take care of at the sorority house, showered, and got dressed. As soon as it was time for Lachlan to pick me up, I walked outside and waited by the curb. A few minutes later, I saw his car approaching. I decided to throw my thumb out like I was trying to hitchhike—just to get a laugh from him. His car slowly rolled to a stop, and the window came down.

“Need a ride, lass?” Lachlan leaned over to look at me through the open window.

“I don’t know.” I bent down so I could see him better. “I’m not supposed to take rides from strangers.”

“Do ye normally hitchhike with people ye know?
 He raised an eyebrow inquisitively.

“Good point.” I grinned. “You seem nice enough—I bet you won’t do anything bad to me.”

“No.” He shook his head. “Unless ye want me too.”

“Okay, I’m convinced. You’re totally safe!” I laughed as I opened the door and sat down.

“Hey there, gorgeous.” He pulled me into an embrace and kissed me.

Lachlan’s lips always had a way of lighting a fuse inside me that burned to the most beautiful array of fireworks that could ever go off in my head. I melted into his kiss, and when it was finally over, I had to gasp for air just to stop my head from spinning. I wanted more as soon as I caught my breath, so I leaned in for another one before we finally pulled away from the curb.

“Do you kiss every girl you pick up on the side of the road like that?” I looked over him and grinned.

“Nah, just the ones I pick up in front of sororities.” He chuckled under his breath.

“Wait…” I looked down, and my eyebrows shot up. “You’re wearing your kilt!”

“Aye, I told ye I would get a rush on the dry cleaning.” He nodded. “We don’t have any stops before we get to the cabin, so it was safe to leave the house in it.”

The silly grin never left my face because I couldn’t stop looking over at him. He was so hot that my entire body felt like it was heating up once we got to the stretch of highway that would take us to the cabin. We made small talk. I caught him up on the latest activities at the sorority, and he told me that he was looking for a job—he had even gone to a couple of interviews. I was surprised to hear that since I knew how much he wanted to be a professor, but I understood his reason for looking elsewhere.

The road was totally deserted, so we were the only ones for miles, and a thought started to run through my head. There was no reason that we had to wait until we got to the cabin for things to really heat up between us. I moved closer to him, put my hand on his knee, and started slowly moving it underneath his kilt.

“What are ye doing, lass?” He looked down at my hand.

“I’m just showing a little appreciation since you were nice enough to pick me up.” I smiled and pulled his kilt up enough to lean over. “Rules of the road, right?”

“I don’t know about those, but…” His body went stiff when he realized what I intended to do, but he relaxed. “Yer definitely in a mood today.”

“I just don’t want to wait.” I kissed my way up his thigh, shifted his kilt, and watched as his cock became engorged.

I pulled the head of Lachlan’s cock between my lips and started to slowly suck on it while he drove. It took him a couple of minutes to fully relax, and the car swerved a couple of times, but he managed to keep it together until I settled into a nice rhythm. I loved feeling him throb in my mouth, knowing that I was making him squirm while he tried to stay focused on the road. I assumed he would warn me if we were in any real danger, so I trusted him to keep us alive.

“Damn, lass. Are ye trying to make me come before we even get there?” Lachlan put a hand on my head and gasped.

I gave him a muffled yes that was followed by a moan and started moving my lips faster. His cock started to throb harder and pulsate in my throat as his breathing got heavier. He was close, I just needed to keep going, and it was only a matter of time before he exploded in my mouth. Another mile passed before he started to twitch, then I could feel his muscles getting tight.

“I’m… Fuck!” Lachlan’s groaned and leaned forward—a second later, I felt his seed flooding my throat.

I swallowed until I gagged, then controlled my breathing, and swallowed what was left. A few more thick ropes of lust splattered into my mouth before he was spent. I slowly moved my lips along his shaft, licked the head clean, and lightly teased his cock with my tongue until I felt the car slowing down.

“It’s going to get a little bumpy from here.” He patted the top of my head.

“We can pick up where I left off when we get inside.” I moved back to my seat and smiled.

“Left off?” He grunted. “Ye finished me.”

“Once.” I nodded. “That doesn’t mean I’m done.”

“Ye really are in a mood.” He shook his head and laughed.

He was right. Losing my virginity to Lachlan had awakened all my sexual urges and took them to a whole new level. I loved spending time with him, but it was impossible not to want more. We only had the night, and I didn’t even know if we would get to see each other over the weekend. If Chrissy was right and we were really going to be initiated, then that could mean we were required to stay at the sorority house—I wouldn’t be able to sneak away like I did when we were just partying.

“It really is beautiful up here.” I looked around once we were parked. “I wish we had longer to stay…”

“Maybe we can spend a weekend or two here at some point.” Lachlan nodded and parked the car. “It’s very cozy in the winter—we might even see a bear.”

“A bear?” I looked around nervously. “Don’t they hibernate during the winter?”

“Not so much around here.” He shook his head. “We have very mild winters.”

“I think I want to go inside now.” I grabbed my things and waited for him to open the door.

“Don’t worry, lass. I can protect ye from a bear.” Lachlan opened my door and extended his hand. “All ye have to do is yell at them and make a lot of noise.”

“I’d prefer not to have to test that in order to find out if you’re telling me the truth.” I took his hand, and we walked to the cabin.

Lachlan arranged for our meal to be delivered and set up, just like the last time, so I was forced to behave for a little bit. I wasn’t very hungry, but I ate to be polite. I was too focused on what was going to happen once dinner was over. Lachlan managed to distract me from my surging libido with stories about Scotland and his clan—Clan Kinnear, the one his father was from, not the one his uncle was so proud of because of his famous ancestor. I could tell that he was proud of his heritage, and the clan colors on his kilt—for reasons other than how turned on I got when I saw him wearing it.

“Your uncle just ended his friendship with your father?” I raised my eyebrows in surprise.

“Aye.” Lachlan nodded. “My father was always a bit of a bastard to begin with, and so is my uncle, but ye know how it is—ye don’t want guys like that around yer sister.”

“It was sweet of him to be so protective, but people are allowed to make their own decisions.” I shrugged and reached for my glass of tea.

“Do ye think yer father is going to be understanding when he finds out about this?” Lachlan motioned to the two of us.

“Probably not, but I don’t really care.” My head snapped back immediately. “I love my parents. That doesn’t mean they get to decide what I do with my life. If it was up to them, I would be going to school in California and living at home right now.”

“Then I’m glad ye decided to be disobedient.” He looked down and laughed. “It seems to be yer nature.”

“Yes, but now I’ve got a Daddy who will make sure I’m only disobedient in the best way possible.” My lips spread into a devious grin.

“Aye.” He narrowed his eyes. “I know how to handle naughty lasses.”

“I’m feeling my pretty naughty right now.” My devious grin got wider.

  And I can’t wait to be handled…

My night with Lachlan was amazing in every way, from the spanking I got to start things off, to falling asleep in his arms after so many orgasms I lost count. The sun was our enemy, and when my eyes opened the next morning, I cursed it under my breath. I couldn’t stay with him as long as I did when we came to the cabin over the weekend because I had class. A quick glance at the clock confirmed that I needed to get up, so I nudged Lachlan until he was awake.

“Morning already?” A light growl echoed in his throat. “Fuck.”

“Yeah,” I sighed. “I need to get back to the sorority hous
e so I can get ready for class.”

“Aye, I know.” He sat up and reached for his shirt. “Do we have time for coffee?”

“I’d rather have a Red Bull, but coffee will work.” I nodded and watched as he walked to the kitchen.

We drank our coffee while it was still smoldering, and then we gathered our things so that we could leave. I hated not knowing when I could spend time with him again, but I knew we would make it just as magical as always. We spent the ride back to the Pi Beta Phi house sitting as close as possible, and I teased him a few times, even though I knew we weren’t going to be able to actually do anything.

“When can I see ye again?” Lachlan put his hand on my wrist to keep me from getting too close to his cock.

“I don’t know.” A sigh passed across my lips. “It may be some time next week.”

“I wish it could be sooner, but I’ll wait for ye, lass.” He smiled. “Don’t be so glum about it.”

“It would be easier if I didn’t already know how much I’m going to miss you.” I put my head on his shoulder.

“I’ll miss ye too.” He nodded and squeezed my hand.

We made it to the Pi Beta Phi sorority house, and I had a few minutes to spare, so we decided to spend them with our lips seared together—one final kiss before we would be separated for a few days—possibly a whole week. My heart felt like it was aching in my chest. I was past the point of falling for Lachlan. I had fallen so hard the idea of being apart from him hurt. I wanted to kiss him forever because we would be together until our lips separated, but I felt his phone buzzing, so I pulled away.

“Do you need to get that?” I looked down at his phone.

“It’s not my uncle’s number.” He picked up his phone and sighed. “It might be one of the places I interviewed—I’m sorry, give me a moment.”

“No problem.” I moved back to my side of the car.

“Hello?” Lachlan pressed the phone to his ear, and I heard a familiar voice—but I couldn’t place it at first. “Dean Stevenson?”
