Sasha unshackled the latches on her helmet, then pulled it off her head. Her eyes were closed as she stepped over and down into the abyss.

Ediha stood at the pier, fishing rod in hand, line in the water. He focused with all his might on the cork, struggling to not lose sight of it. The sky was filled with blue, and what little clouds were out here in the Gulf of Mexica were reflecting off the water and confusing his vision.

“Aw shit!” Stef yelled. “Get a load of this chonker! That’s a new record, right?”

“Stef,” Nick said. “That’s a baby fish, throw it back.”

  “But it’s big.”

  “Compared to freshwater fish, sure.”

“I’m gonna eat it,” Stef said triumphantly.

  “Throw it back,” Nick warned.

  “I’ll throw you back.”

Ediha fell into laughter. “You seem to be taking this well.”

“Yeah, man,” Stef said. “This is awesome. I don’t have to do jack shit anymore but play games and fish or anything else that comes to mind.”

“And we can’t even die,” Rika said. She was sunbathing on the pier, trying - and failing - to ignore Stef’s loud outbursts. “Not anymore at least.”

Nick threw out his line again, then stepped over to Ediha. “So we can do anything here, right?”

Ediha nodded with a smile. “Anything.” Nick tried desperately to suppress his grin. Ediha grew playfully suspicious. “What do you have in mind?”

Nick shook his head and walked away. Stef answered for him. “He’s gonna make a nuke with caveman tools.”

“A nuke?” asked Ediha. “Is that a baked good? Like a pastry? It sounds like a pastry.”

“We need to play with science,” Nick said, his smile now semi-permanent on his face. “How else are we gonna explore the stars?”

“Dude,” Stef cut in, fish still flopping around on his hook. “Let’s make nukes tomorrow.”

Ediha smiled. He took a deep breath of the fresh spring air and said, “They asked me to put you to sleep until it was your time. I take it you want to play some more.”

“No need to rush,” Rika said with a laugh. A ship bearing French flags eased into view from the other side of the island. On it, friendly, familiar faces. She smiled. “We have all the time in the world.”

  DOWN WITH THE PLAYERS

Alex finds herself on the shore of a distant place - a world unfamiliar.

A world of fantasy and magic. A world that is a game.

NPCs and players all insist she is an NPC, a part of the world. A part of the code of the game. A part of the fantasy to entertain the players. She rejects the idea, for her memories can't just be lies. Could they?

Alex sets out to establish herself in the sandbox fantasy world, to find her identity, and to weather the storm between the coming players and the inhabitants of the new world. Now on Audible!

  MISTAKES WERE MADE

Obi Imsi enjoyed his life as an overpowered paladin tryhard filled to the brim with beautiful women who loved him unconditionally for all the wrong reasons.

Everything was going great until he tried to woo the wrong one and was polymorphed into a literal trash can. Starting back at level 1, he must find some way to regain his power and hopefully return to his real body.

He soon finds that his new life won't be easy, and he embarks a fantastic fantasy adventure that's so bad, it's good (terrible).

★★★★ “Bizarre, yet brilliant. A very fun read and I laughed through most of the ride.” – LitRPG Re-Roll

★★★★“Shorter story, skippable harem start but lots of good laughs” – LitRPG Podcast

★★★★“I enjoyed it, but hated myself for it!” – Goodreads Reviewer

★★★★“Adventure minus the slow bits.” – Amazon Reviewer
