“I’ve gained twenty pounds,” I snicker. “Perks of recovering from an eating disorder.”

His hands slide over my full breasts and then over my stomach and backside. I’m curvier than I was, but that’s a normal physical progression in a woman’s life, eating disorder or not. The crinkle of the fabric fills my head and I nearly drown in the sensations, lost in his aura. Maybe we are soulmates, and we were always destined to know each other. And perhaps it was hopeless, our attempts at living separate lives.

“You’re perfect,” he says and then twists me around so that he can take my breast into his mouth. His hot tongue swirls around my nipple, and I throw my head back, arching into him. He hikes up my skirt, unzips his pants, and places me onto the side table in his entryway in harsh movements, and then our bodies merge. He takes me, staring into my eyes; aggressively thrusting into me as I moan; his name like a spell on my lips.

Because we will always be the lonely souls we were, claiming the things that we’d always denied ourselves, but always deserved.

Now we are claiming happiness. Claiming health. Claiming freedom. Claiming life. Claiming love.

  Now, it’s all perfect.
