Making Out with the Billionaire

“But he seems different with you.” There was hope printed plainly across Violet’s face.

“I think he’s always had this more earnest side, it’s just been buried under his wild behavior.”

  “Spoken like a true psychologist.”

Kerry shrugged. “It does help give me some insight, but I also happen to care a great deal about Dorran.”

Violet nodded, and Kerry had the feeling that she had passed some sort of test, or at least said the right thing.

“Good. I know that boy better than anyone, and I can tell that you are the kind of woman he needs to get his life back on track.”

She beckoned the shop girl over, handing her a purely black credit card. “We’ll take it all.”

Kerry began to shake her head from side to side. “Oh, no. You don’t need to do that. I’ll just pick a few things.”

“Nonsense,” Violet said. She wasn’t being dismissive, but Kerry could see that she wasn’t going to give in either. “It’s Dorran’s card, and you know he can afford it. He wanted to treat you today.”

Kerry stopped arguing, touched by his desire to take care of her like that. Besides, Violet was right, he could afford it.

After the boutique, they stopped into a small diner for lunch. Kerry kept the conversation light and found Violet easy to talk to. She didn’t seem like a woman in her eighties. With her quick wit and incredible fashion sense, it felt like she was talking to a woman much younger.

When they had finished their cobb salads and indulged in dessert, Kerry ordered a piece of pecan pie to-go, to take back the house for Dorran. She didn’t miss the approval on Violet’s face as she made the request.

  You’re killing it, Kerry.

It was nice to feel like things were finally turning in her favor. She’d come a long way from being dumped at the airport. Returning to the house, they found the boys in the driveway, playing a one-on-one game of basketball with a hoop that was mounted above the garage door. Violet chuckled and shook her head.

“I swear, those two can’t spend more than five minutes together without finding a way to compete over something.”

Kerry just nodded wordlessly, too distracted to provide a verbal response. Both men were shirtless. Dorran was wearing basketball shorts that sat low on his hips, showing off his chiseled physique and smooth, tanned skin that was glistening with sweat. He lifted a hand to brush his hair back from his forehead, the movement causing the muscles on the right side of his body to ripple appealingly.

She swallowed thickly, unable to tear her eyes away. He moved with a grace that made the space between her thighs clench with need. It should be illegal to be that good-looking.

Violet opened her door, and Kerry jolted at the sound, pulling her gaze away from the basketball game and flushing. She followed Violet’s lead, exiting the car and grabbing her shopping bags.

A voice spoke at her back, surprising her.“Did you have fun?”

Kerry turned to see that was Dorran there in all his glory. He was standing in her personal space, but she had no complaints. He was even more impressive up close, his shoulders so broad that he looked like he could bench press a Toyota Prius.

And she’d pay good money to see that.

“Yeah,” she replied as he took the bags from her hands. “You might have the coolest grandma in the world.”

“Tell me something I don’t know.”

“How about this, I got you pie.”

His face broke out in a wide grin. “Baby, you’re too good to me.”

“Speaking of that, thank you for giving Violet your credit card. I got some really nice clothes.”

Dorran pressed a quick kiss to her lips. She halfheartedly swatted at him when he pulled away. “You’re going to get me all sweaty.”

  “You love it.”

  She really did.

  * * *

Kerry couldn’t stop thinking about Dorran’s exposed body throughout the evening. It made it difficult to concentrate on polite conversation during dinner, especially since he had showered, and the enticing scent of his sandalwood body wash radiated out into the space around him. Apparently, that smell was directly connected to the juncture between her legs.

  I need to get laid.

That thought lingered in her mind as they retired for the evening. The room they were sharing was large, and the bed a king-size. Last night, she’d slept beside Dorran, wearing an oversized t-shirt and some shorts.

Tonight, she was going to step things up a bit.

In the bathroom attached to the bedroom, she ruffled her hair, attempting to make it look purposely messy. The black teddy she was wearing showed off her curves, and the swells of her breasts were fully visible.

She had brought this nightie from San Francisco just in case the timing felt right. And it did. In fact, it was long overdue. She’d been reluctant to take this step at first because she didn’t want to just be another notch in his headboard, a sexual conquest that was conquered easily and then forgotten.

Walking out of the bathroom, she found that Dorran was sitting on the edge of the bed, scrolling through his phone. Kerry made her way to the bed casually, keeping her eyes glued to him. He didn’t look up. Stretching out on her side of the bed above the covers, she shifted around until she thought she probably looked the most appealing, with one leg crossed over the other, her toes pointing, and her head held up on one hand, her chin jutting out just enough to emphasize her long neck. It felt uncomfortable, but she hoped it would be worth it. Trying to draw his attention, she asked, “What are you looking at?”

“Just checking my work email,” he replied.

Dorran glanced at her, then did a double-take. A powerful feeling of pride swelled within her body as his eyes darkened, running up and down her posed form.

“What are you wearing?” He asked, his voice a low hungry rumble.

Kerry smoothed her face as if it was nothing.“Just a nightie. A girl needs pajamas, you know.”

“And you’re saying this is something you regularly wear?”

“Sure.” She lied with a flirty smile.

“Well, in that case, I usually wear nothing to bed,” Dorran said, standing and pulling his shirt over his head. “So, I might as well get ready to sleep as I normally would, also.”

Her heart raced as she watched him unbuckle his pants, thinking it was the sexiest thing she’d ever seen. And he’d barely gotten started.

Dorran’s blood ran hot as he undressed. Kerry’s stare was so intense that it felt like a caress, running over his exposed skin. When his erection sprang free of his briefs, she sucked in a sharp breath. He wasn’t small, and some women looked at his cock for the first time with fear or trepidation. Not Kerry. She looked so hot for him that she might explode.

Electricity crackled in the air between them as he walked closer, his hunger for her increasing with each step. Once he reached her side of the bed, he lowered his body over hers, claiming her mouth with a fiery kiss even as his pelvis settled between her spread legs. The only thing separating them was the thin fabric of her panties, and he rubbed himself against her, feeling her heat along his shaft.

Kerry moaned, and he swallowed the sound, slipping his tongue inside of her. She gripped his arms as he continued to grind himself into her, making waves of pleasure course through her. He was getting too hot, too fast. He’d barely had time to explore her body yet.

Breaking their kiss, he trailed kisses down her neck, nipping and sucking the soft flesh. When he reached her chest, he used his tongue to trace along the lacy edge that covered her breasts. She arched her back and thrusted her fingers into his hair, pulling lightly. The sting on his scalp served to heighten his desire. He cupped her breasts, and they filled his palms.

“Fuck, Kerry. I’ve waited so long for this. Your body drives me crazy.”

“Then do something about it,” she commanded, and his erection twitched. Damn, her confidence was hot.

He didn’t need to be told twic
e. Sliding the straps of her teddy off her shoulders, he groaned when her full breasts were exposed. Smooth skin with dark tips tantalized him. Lowering his head, Dorran latched onto one pert little nipple while rolling the other between his thumb and forefinger.

His lips tugged, and his tongue lavished. Kerry’s responsive gasps and moans were music to his ears. Moving his mouth to her other breast, he slid his hand down her side, then between her parted legs.

The fabric covering her mound was soaked, and he pulled her panties aside. Her thighs quivered as his fingers stroked her.

“You’re so wet and responsive, baby. Is this what you want?”

  “God, yes.”

He slid a finger inside of her, making her entire body tense before relaxing. Fire blazed in her eyes, and he couldn’t look away as he worked his finger in and out. Kerry’s hands were all over him, tracing every inch of his body that she could reach.

Dorran added another finger, slipping it inside easily with how wet she was. He loved the power he had over her as she writhed on the bed, her face twisted in utter pleasure. He was dying to sink his erection into her body, but he wanted her to come first. He knew that he was big, and it could even be uncomfortable for a woman if she wasn’t properly prepared. An orgasm would ensure that she was truly ready. It was worth holding himself back.

So, he bit his tongue and focused on his girl. Pressing his thumb against her clit, he rubbed it in tight circles while continuing his pumping action with his fingers.

It didn’t take long for her to come apart at his touch, her orgasm slamming into her and pulling an unintelligible cry from her lips. Dorran couldn’t take his eyes off of her as he worked his hand against her a few more times. Her body had tightened everywhere as she climaxed, and now she was coming back down to earth.

He waited until she was limp against the mattress to pull his hand away from her weeping core. Kerry’s eyes were hooded when she opened them, but they widened when he brought his hand up to his mouth and sucked her wetness from his fingers while holding her eyes.

The taste of her was intoxicating, and he wanted to bury his head between her legs, but that would have to wait for next time because he was as hard as steel and couldn’t wait a moment longer.

“Dorran, I need you. Please.” Kerry’s voice was needy, and he loved hearing that. It made him feel like a fucking king.

“Don’t worry, baby. I’m nowhere near done with you yet.”

Repositioning himself between her legs, Dorran looked down at her, with her nightie bunched up around her waist and her breasts out, the little buds hard. Her hair was mussed and her lips red from his rough kisses.

He’d never seen her more beautiful.

And she was wet for him, so wet that she glistened. Dorran reached over to the nightstand and grabbed a condom, making quick work of rolling it onto his cock, which was incredibly sensitive. Lining himself up at her entrance, he began to push himself inside and was unable to suppress the shudder that ran through his body when the tip pushed past her lips, being swallowed by the warmth of her perfect body.

“Dorran!” She called out his name, and he couldn’t stop himself from thrusting forward, burying himself fully inside of her in one smooth movement. Kerry whimpered, but it wasn’t a sound of pain. No, it was glorious pleasure. Encouraged, he pulled back and thrust forward again, letting out his own sound of satisfaction in the form of a low groan. Kerry tilted her hips, allowing him even better access, and wrapped her legs around him.

Holding himself over her with his arms, Dorran didn’t take long to settle into a rhythm. He started pounding her into the mattress, primal instinct taking over. Kerry let out little noises every time he thrusted into her, and her pleasure was clear as she threw her head back, her face twisted. As for Dorran, he was barreling toward his climax, trying to hold it back until Kerry reached hers once again. He might be a selfish asshole sometimes, but he was generous in this.

Besides, he’d give almost anything to feel her orgasming around his cock.

“Dorran, I can’t believe it…I’m close again. I’m…Oh, my God.”

  Finally.

Increasing his speed, Dorran gave himself over entirely to instinct. He took her hard and fast, with her manicured fingers digging into his ass as if she was trying to pull him even closer, though that was impossible at this point.

“Come now, baby. Fuck, you’ve gotta come now.”

  And she did.

Dorran growled as he found his release at the same time, her pulsing core around his erection making it the most intense orgasm he could ever remember having. It seemed to last forever, but time didn’t matter, not while he felt like he was flying and coming back down to earth was the last thing on his mind.

He could hear Kerry moaning around his name, and it earned her a few more thrusts from him before he came back to reality, exhaustion creeping in after such an intense experience. He collapsed on the bed beside her, his chest heaving as he panted.

Immediately, he noticed that something didn’t feel quite right. Lifting his head, he looked down and saw that the condom had broken.

  “Shit.”

  “What’s wrong?”

  “The damn condom broke.”

“Oh. Well, I’m on the pill. And I’m clean.”

  “Me too.”

“Then, I’m sure we’ll be okay.”

Dorran nodded, taking off the useless bit of latex and tossing it into the trashcan on the side of the bed. As he settled down under the blankets and Kerry let her head rest on his chest, he thought that they were going to be so much better than just ‘okay.’

They were going to be great.

  Chapter Eleven

Kerry sipped her hot tea as she looked out over the city from the balcony of Dorran’s palatial high-rise condo. She suspected she’d never get sick of this view. It was early in the morning and she was wearing only Dorran’s cozy fleece robe. It was huge on her, brushing the floor as she walked, but she loved it because it was comfortable and smelled like him.

She hadn’t intended to stay with him last night, but he had taken her out dancing. She had mentioned a desire to go to a dance club once, and he made it happen. It was too bad that he was a terrible dancer. She smiled softly at the memory of him gyrating around the dance floor, not caring one little bit how he looked. He’d also been handsy after a couple of drinks, and she’d given in to his request that they go to his place right away.

“What’s put that smile on your face?”

She turned to see that Dorran had stepped out onto the balcony, his hair a ruffled mess. He yawned, and she thought he looked adorable.

  “Just thinking about something funny.”

  “My sick dance moves?”

She nodded as laughter bubbled up. Dorran sat in the only other chair on the balcony, looking still half-asleep as he turned his gaze to her, as if the city view wasn’t nearly as impressive as her face. He had a way of making her feel special in simple ways like that.

They had returned from his grandmother’s country home almost three weeks ago, and Kerry had been spending as much time with Dorran as she could. Unfortunately, she’d been swamped with work, and she couldn’t slow down, not right now. Her book was climbing the charts, and she was preparing to go on a book tour. It was the highlight of her career so far.

“Do you really have to leave on Monday?”

Kerry nodded. She acted exasperated, but Kerry secretly loved that he was unhappy about her going. It wasn’t that he was unsupportive, just that he enjoyed spending time with her.

“It’s only a week. If I’m lucky, it’ll help boost my sales significantly.”

It was her first book tour, a test to see how well she was received, so they were starting out small. She would be sticking to California and nearby states this time, including stops in Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. The last stop would be back in San Francisco at the end of the week, a coming home celebration of sorts. If it went well, her agent would plan
a much larger tour. It was sure to be a hectic week, but she was excited.

“What if I just boost your sales by buying a million copies myself?”

“Don’t you dare.” Kerry shot him an unamused look, making sure that he knew she was serious about this because she knew he would actually do it. The man was too used to getting his way.

“Okay, fine,” he grumbled. “But I want you to come to the Titans game with me on Sunday. I know you have a trip to prepare for, but I want one more date before you leave.”

“Worried I’ll forget about you while I’m gone?”

“Hardly. How could you forget this handsome face?”

His smirk made her roll her eyes, but he had a point.

“Okay, it’s a date.” She glanced down at her phone. “But I’ve got to go.”

“It’s Friday. Just skip going into the office and make it a long weekend.”

Kerry shook her head, standing and gulping down the last swallow of her tea.

“I’m not a reckless billionaire,” she said pointedly. “I don’t just skip work.”

  “You’re utterly incorruptible.”

Her mind flashed to the night before, when he’d bent her over his kitchen island and entered her from behind. Heat spread throughout her lower stomach.

“I wouldn’t say that.” She gave him a smirk that was wicked enough to rival his own.

Kerry left Dorran’s apartment building thirty minutes later. She still had to go by her townhouse for a shower, but her first appointment of the day wasn’t until noon, so she had time.

She was wearing the dress she had gone out in last night, which was obvious, as it was a sparkly silver number that was low cut and paired with stilettos. Not exactly the kind of outfit one would wear at eight in the morning. It was a classic walk of shame, but the driver of the Hail car that Dorran ordered for her didn’t look the least bit surprised. Kerry imagined that he saw this sort of thing all the time, but she didn’t like it. It made her feel cheap. She needed to start keeping a few things at Dorran’s place for times like this, until they were ready to move in together.
