Savage Possessed: A Reverse Harem Urban Fantasy Adventure (Twin Rivers Possession Book 2)

She’s still coming as Valor shouts through his own climax. It rolls through him and shoots down Sophie’s throat while she strangles me. Finally, finally, the warmth collects and explodes out of me with a roar that’s purely animal. It fills her insides, connecting us with something permanent that keeps coming and coming.
But the heat doesn’t stop in her tight channel. I thrust and jerk and feel the quaking inferno that filled me moving through her whole body, changing her every bit as much as it changed me. It’s still connected to me—this sensation, this magic, this moment—even as it moves through her. I feel like I’m inside her very being, that there’s not a particle of her body that isn’t attached to mine.
Her skin illuminates with a golden glow that makes her appear otherworldly. It’s a thread that starts at where we’re joined and travels outward, shooting through her body and mine. We’re shimmering now, and beneath my pleasure, there’s a note of panic that sneaks through me at the changes that feel too significant and overwhelming to harness.
The gold isn’t satisfied with consuming Sophie and me; it bleeds into Valor, as well.
I sit up when Valor’s cries of pleasure mutate into shouts of distress while his member softens in her mouth. I thrust again, and Carrigan and Jonas are similarly struck with howls of confusion that sound like alarm. All of us are glowing with brushes of gold now. I realize then that my bear isn’t stopping at Sophie, but runs through them all in one final undulating shot, crashing through barriers to get where he knows he belongs, and tagging all of them along the way.
I grit my teeth and give my last offering inside my honeycomb, no doubt bruising her hips. Then I fall back, spent and content.
When squishy breasts press into my chest, my arms go around my woman to hold her to me until I’m soft enough to pop out without hurting her and disrupting the high she’s clearly drunk on. I’m content to be still nestled inside of her while she clings to me with rubbery limbs. She exhales against my neck, and I’m suddenly struck by how very simple life seems in this moment. She breathes and my chest expands, like we’re one fluid body moving in perfect synchronicity.
Valor collapses on my left, and I can’t even bring myself to care that his junk is limp against my thigh. I’m not sure I would care if the whole world burned outside the bedroom right now. Everything is peaceful for once, and I love the thrill of completion that rolls through me.
Carrigan takes the spot on my other side. His arm rests atop Sophie’s back to soothe her through the earthquakes that are still toying with her nerve endings as she moans softly. Her slick channel vibrates with the aftershocks of her orgasm, and I love every torturous squeeze. Cary lightly scrapes his fingernails over the curve of her ass, and I think to myself how very natural it all feels. She shivers against me, and Jonas covers us all with a flip of one of the blankets that’s fallen on the floor. When Jonas takes the spot on the other side of Cary, we all breathe as one body, one unit.
One pack.
We’re supposed to be finding something. Going somewhere. Solving some grand mystery. Seeking out some great quest. There’s a reason I wasn’t supposed to make love to my woman. I don’t remember a lick of it and decide that whatever the consequences are, I can deal with them in the morning. This feels too good. I’m finally relaxed after a lifetime of struggle to calm myself down. She was the one thing I was missing, and I vow never to deny her my body ever again. As often as she gives herself over to me, I won’t hold back. It’s not that I’m in sync with her; I’m in sync with myself after living for so long on the outside of any sort of comfort zone. Something’s shifted in me now; I’m not sure I could deny her if I tried.
“What did you do to me?” Valor mutters, his eyes closed.
Sophie stirs, and I’m indignant that anything might entice her to move from off my chest, where she so clearly belongs. “She blew your brains out. Now shut up and let me sleep.”
“Not her.” Valor’s lips go slack a few beats before he works out another syllable, which takes him far too much effort. “You.”
Carrigan’s hand is slumped on Sophie’s ass, both their bodies lifeless and defeated by pure pleasure. “I feel strange. Hagan, what is this?”
Jonas whimpers and rubs his chest, as if me coming inside of Sophie did something significant to his own body, though I didn’t even touch him. I don’t get what they’re all whining about, so I ignore them and focus on my honeycomb. Her limbs are lifeless and splayed out, engulfing me with femininity that makes me wish I had the stamina for a second round right now.
“I feel you,” she murmurs, her eyes closed.
“Yeah? Well, I’m still inside of you, so that’s a good thing.” I twitch in her tight channel, chuckling when she shudders with another wave of pleasure.
She pouts, as if I’ve gotten it all wrong. “I feel all of you. You’re breathing in my chest.” She demonstrates with a few deep breaths that move my ribcage with hers. Jonas, Carrigan and Valor all mirror our inhales and exhales. It’s odd, for certain, but I’m too spent to investigate. “What is this, Hagan?”
“This is happy,” I murmur, my eyes drifting shut.
“Something’s wrong!” Valor whimpers, but between the booze and the orgasms, none of us are all that with it. “Make it stop! This is bad, this is very bad.”
Sophie’s hand settles clumsily over Valor’s shoulder, and he instantly calms. When Carrigan starts twisting with his dueling need to sleep and also freak out over whatever it is that’s going weird with him, Sophie’s other hand lands on his chest. The moment she touches him, his entire body deflates, a boyish coo pushing out the last of his tension. She’s calming them with something other than just being herself.
There’s something deeper at work, and I see it clearly when Jonas seeks out her touch when the anxiety starts to claw at him as well. My eyelids are starting to droop, but I can see clearly his increasing upset deflate with a sigh the moment he touches her skin, spooning Cary in the process.
It’s the same way Louis used to soothe the nerves of his pack when they got too worked up. Only Sophie’s not a shifter. None of them are. But the medicine of her presence fills us all with a deep sigh I’ve gone far too long living without.
My bear isn’t restless anymore. I wonder if this is what true bliss is like. My mouth curves into a stupid smile when she lets out a “hmm” that sounds like complete submission to the pleasure that’s taken us all over. It’s connected us on a level I still don’t quite understand.
I’m not supposed to have sex with her because… because…
My bear circles three times before collapsing in a heap of contentment in my chest. “Mate,” he coos, finally at peace. “Mates.”
