  Dear Reader,

I hope you enjoyed seeing Anna and Noah come together and find their happily ever after. After going through the war, they certainly deserved to be happy, and I’m glad they had wonderful allies on their side like Niall. He was such an unexpected surprise for me as a character. And of course, the old Irish community was much like ones I knew about and experienced in my own way… The thing I loved learning the most about this fragile time in American history was how this war did unite people, whether it be through the Victory Gardens or the knitting groups just to name a few. Like Anna, I continue to hope we see everyone as people and that we don’t need a war to get there. Having served in the rebuilding of many warzones myself in my old career, I can tell you it’s a tough way to achieve unity and not always lasting unfortunately.

There are lots more stories cooking right now, so please make sure you’re signed up for my newsletter and connected to me on social media so you’ll hear the latest and greatest.

As always, I remain grateful for you and your support, be it in a book review or a kind comment on social media.

  Wishing you continued happiness,

  Ava
