The King's Captive: A Sci-Fi Alien Romance (Rialan Kings Book 2)

"What the fuck?" Kinu asked aloud.
The Rialan laughed, "I'm surprised that you actually were scared. From the looks of it you two didn't seem to be able to be afraid of anything at all."
Domon laughed for a bit and crawled through the dirt over to sit next to Kinu and Saradi. They didn't seem to mind his presence, after that encounter he was about as threatening as a newborn pup in comparison to Gulvan.
"He usually comes for the women." He stated with seriousness as Saradi's eyes widened and she averted her eyes.
Great...just what she didn't want to happen as happening. "No no!" someone shouted in the distance as Gulvan walked through, the young woman and her child that were in the same area as them, placed her head in her hands and began to weep with her baby. Saradi wondered where they came from, whether the father had died in battle or if he was some criminal rapist or a Rialan even.
The child seemed human so she excluded that last bit.
"You better hope that he collects his fill by the time that he comes around here because you certainly don't want to be around for him collecting you. It's the most frightening thing that you could ever imagine." Domon remarked.
Saradi felt herself down to see if she had any weapons and Domon made a smart remark about her doing so which earned him a glare from her. Her knife had been taken and she cursed the king and his guard for doing so. She had no way to jab her blade into that bastard's eye now.
And then she heard it.
He was getting far closer to them.
"Now, now, I think I saw something that was worth taking back here!" shouted Gulvan as he stepped into their small section of the camp. A small circular pen that had a small mouth of an opening that led to the rest of the prison camp.
He looks over each and every one of the residents, his grin seemed to be well-intentioned but anyone that had an iota of sense knew that that wasn't the case. This man was truly depraved, there was this crazed look in his eye that easily told you what kind of person he was and what his intentions with them were.
Saradi scowled and turned away, attempting to avoid looking him in the eye.
He sniffs the air and watches the refugees cower at his feet and smiles. Gulvan had that sort of grin that made you want to vomit on sight, the kind of grin that only belonged to men that were, in every sense of the word, depraved. He walks up to the mother and her child and grabs her arm, sniffing her as she begins to shiver. Saradi swore that she even saw some piss collect on the ground out of fear from the woman.
"Looks like we have a live one." Muttered Gulvan has he grabbed her and whisked her to her feet.
"Leave the child." He muttered.
Saradi's eyes widened. Even Domon looked indignant at the suggestion and Kinu looked like he was about to smack the king.
"You bastard!" Saradi sprung to his feet just as he was leaving and he suddenly lets go of the mother who rushes back to her child. He turned to her with a look in his eye that was unlike anything that she had seen up to this point.
"What." He muttered to himself in a low voice, it was almost inaudible if you didn't know to listen
She pauses and glances him over, thinking that it might have been better to just sink back to her knees and avoid him but she looks to the mother and steels herself for the child's sake.
"You heard me you fucking creep. What gives you the right to bully the poor woman like that?! And in territory that's not even yours too!" she shouted at him and raised her hands in case he came close enough to attack her.
And unexpectedly, he begins to laugh. He begins to laugh as he motions for his guards to step back, their blackened eyes stare her down as Gulvan begins to walk forward.
"I like this one." He remarks as he begins to pace back and forth in front of her, "Let's take her."
Oh hell no.
Gulvan approaches to grab her and she takes a swing at him but he dodges her and grabs her, pinning her down on the ground with her hands pressed into the mud. She looks up at him and quivers in fear as those fierce gold eyes glare down at her. His ornamental armor sways and its gold plating glimmers in the soft setting sun.
He releases her but not before drawing his blade.
"Not so tough are you now human? You should have never said anything and let me take the bitch, now I'm gonna mutilate you and take you both! I'm gonna chop off your tongue to make sure you never speak out of line ever again." He growled.
Saradi raised her hands, she had to fight back, she had to do something. But alas she knew that it was probably useless and merely stares at Gulvan as he begins to bring the blade down on her arms that were blocking.
She expected to have her arms cut off and feel a pool of blood collect on her face. She felt like she was to burst from the sheer amount of anxiety rushing through her but instead of the blade cutting through her something intercepted the strike.
Another sword, it was smaller but somehow more elegant and refined, she looked to its wielder and saw Koigo, much to her surprise.
"Gulvan." He snarled out and the cruel king grinned at his brother flicking his blade back and sheathing it.
As much as it looked like Gulvan wanted to fight, it was probably all bullshit for Saradi's perspective. After all, if he were that much more powerful why didn't he do something to attack Koigo just then? But then again it made little sense to her why the king had suddenly jumped in to defend her of all people. Why had he intervened for the lowly lives of some prisoners?!
Or perhaps he just didn't like getting shown up by his brother.
"This is my slave, I claimed her, she's mine so don't interfere." Gulvan remarked with that cruel grin on his face but Koigo narrowed his eyes, he knew better.
"They are not slaves." He rebuked, "They're refugees and they're not for you to slaughter as you please and take."
Gulvan chuckled and stepped back, shaking his head, "Of course, of course, but they'll go to waste if they just go to a work camp."
He steps towards the mother threateningly with a glint in his eye.
"Why not have some fun first."
Koigo seized up and exhaled sharply, "Do not test me Gulvan. You do not take my prisoners and that is final. Leave at once." He demands.
"Oh so hasty brother, where was this anger last time? I took your prisoners and you didn't say a word.” Koigo gritted his teeth, he had gotten careless that time and several humans had lost their lives, his green skin flushes and his gold eyes glimmer with a glint of rage as he steps towards Gulvan threateningly, he still had his blade drawn.
He could kill the bastard right now. He could end his life.
But with the guards here it would be an effort done in vain.
"These are my refugees no matter what and you can't claim them or do anything to change that."
"Such aggression Koigo, I wonder why." He remarked as he turned his eyes towards Saradi who had been staring at the two. Koigo had occasionally been looking over at her with this nervous glance and apparently, Gulvan had picked up on it.
Koigo wanted to curse himself, this wasn't the way that it was supposed to be. If Gulvan found out about the mating link between him and the girl then there was no telling what he would do, he had to act.
"Every person in this room is going to work in my keep, that's why I interfered. As for those that you collected outside of this room then you know the drill, they need to work in my camps." Koigo remarked, it was the best that he could think of on the fly and he hoped that it would work out smooth enough.
Gulvan raised an eyebrow, "Oh? Well, I'm sorry to interrupt then. But you at least have to give me something for my troubles." Koigo grit his teeth as his brother snarled right back at him, he jabs his finger in the direction of one of his guards and shouts some instructions to bring Gulvan a "offering."
Minutes later Gulvan was leaving the camp with a bag full of treasures that had been taken from the battlefield as well as a fair amount of credits.
Saradi could barely believe it, had the king really just s
aved their lives after all? Why had he even done so? The lives of a few paltry human prisoners were surely nothing to a king. As for the mother, she began to profusely thank the king who said nothing and simply began to walk out of that section of the cell.
"What bullshit, I was hoping for another prison break." Domon muttered.
Kinu rolled his eyes, "Well living in a castle doesn't sound too bad, might be even better than living under occupation."
Saradi shut her eyes and rested her forehead against her knees, far too much had happened today and she needed some time to process it all.
But strangely enough, she couldn't stop herself from thinking of him and how he had saved her. His bulging muscles and that ferocious look in his eye. His firm stance above her, that fierceness that he had displayed when protecting her.
Just what kind of person was he?

CHAPTER SIX
He sighed, today was the final day that they had spent on that moon before his troops went home and he along with them, it was the final day that he had to attend to any business, and it was the first day of accepting the new guests into the keep.
It was something that he had wanted to avoid but his brother had forced his hand.
He sat in the command room of his ship, grunting instructions to his crew as he watched his planet come into view. Limura, from this far away you wouldn't notice the border that was drawn on it, dividing it into halves for each of the brothers to dwell in.
It was a damn shame.
"Excited to be home Yaki?" he asked his guard who nodded in affirmation.
"My child....I haven't seen him for quite some time." Koigo chuckled, "Well I'm sure you didn't miss much, we couldn't have been gone that long."
After all he only had taken a trip to the moon about three times a year to check on the progress of the war. He had left everything back there in the hands of an advisor once he was done doing his inspections and this time was no different. He sighs and runs his hands together, the green skin slightly stained with some soot from the engine room. He glances over his claws and thinks about the girl that he had taken along with him.
The girl whose life was in his hands now.
"Yaki." He speaks suddenly to get the thoughts of his mate out of his mind. He didn't need any distractions and he didn't need any attempts by his brother to use his mate against him. After all, there was a reason that neither had families yet, it would give the other ammunition.
"Yes my lord?" asked his guard.
Koigo grins, "I'm going to give you a gift for the child."
Yaki immediately refuses but Koigo shakes his head.
"Just some credits, come on, a little bit never hurt and having a new child is expensive. Please, accept it."
Yaki didn't live that far from the keep due to his job and Koigo had seen how the man had lived. A stone home for a family of his wouldn't cut it and Yaki knew it but was too prideful to ask. Koigo asked him where the money from his wages had gone and Yaki had admitted that he had to offer it to a relative that was practically leeching off of him. Yaki hesitated before nodding and allowing the king to transfer the money to his account.
"I swear I would have sent it even if you told me not to."
Yaki shoots him a rather disappointed look and he only laughs.
"You know, go see your daughter early. I'll be fine."
Yaki stiffened, "You still need protection." Koigo shrugged. "Hardly, I don't think there's a foe besides my brother that I couldn't best."
After some more arguing they finally arrive back on their home, Limura was the same as it ever was with the rolling hills of grassland and the occasional tree. The land here was dry although not to the same degree as Merim, it certainly seemed far more comforting than the long deserts that the war had been waged in. At first Koigo thought that he would be returning and going back to his keep without any further preparations but that had all changed when he had agreed to take in the prisoners as his servants.
He didn't know what he was thinking but if it meant that their lives would be spared then he would allow it.
His guards march them to the keep and Yaki travels downhill from the landing site to his own home while the king is left to stand there, watching the horizon for a second. The red sun dips below the hills and the world is painted an incredible shade of orange. It was as if gold had doused the land and its presence was now ever-present. Koigo stares at the handle of his blade, fiddling with it for a second and wondering to himself:
"Just why did I intervene so readily?"
He had never thought of himself as overly sentimental. The humans were his prisoners and deserved life but he wouldn't stress over his brother killing one as much as he did when the girl had been targeted. She was his mate after all and perhaps...perhaps that was an idea that he had taken a liking to far more than he had initially thought. She certainly was quite something.
Perhaps he should let go of the fears that were holding him back from it.
After all, what could be so bad if he were to do so in secret?
He shook his head, what was he thinking? Would he jeopardize all of the years that he had spent opposing his brother just to have the chance at satisfying some of his urges? No, that was not what he was supposed to do, nor who he was meant to be.
But as he watches her walk into the keep with her slouched posture, he reminds himself that even he was susceptible to mortal urges.
He retired to his keep for the day and let his servants handle every other little detail. Everything from training the new group of hires to giving them their quarters. Koigo assumed that he would not be seeing them for quite a while considering the fact that they were on opposite sides of his keep. But still, at night he found himself aimlessly wandering, searching for her and attempting to hold off his urges, but it hadn't worked, never had it worked.
He found her walking away from her room in the night, she was holding something in her hand.
He pretended to ignore her but made a mental note to keep track of her. They walked through the stone halls, the tinted windows shining into the room and reflecting off his green skin. This castle was built to Rialan specifications and must have felt massive to her.
He hoped that it would intimidate a fiery spirit such as her.
But it didn't. Because of course it didn't.
She hurls herself onto him and attempts to jam the knife into his back but he grabs her and pins her to the ground in the middle of the hallway. It was rather late and most would be asleep at this point. He glares at her before dragging her back to his quarters, all while she kicked him and tried to get him off of her.
"You're the one that tried to attack me human." He remarked with a raised eyebrow and she huffed before he grabs her and pins her down on her back.
She had changed out of that armor that she had worn and had bathed as well. No longer was her olive toned skin covered in the soot and blood that it had been coated in yesterday. Now she was....presentable, to say the least. But in his eyes he was so much more than that, she was...the most lovely thing that he had ever seen.
And it was making him harder by the minute.
He watches her, his cock hardens as he licks his lips and for a second she freezes as well, glancing up at him with those fearful eyes.
"You bastard. Let me go!"
"You tried to kill me in my own keep after I showed you mercy, you deserve punishment." He mutters as he tears her clothing off, it was just a simple tan gown but soon she was revealed to him in all of her glory.
Her skin had some scars but nothing that was overtly major. He kisses her chest and grabs her breast and she calls out to him, questioning him with a "What are you doing?" but she couldn't finish her question as he had already placed her left breast in his mouth. He continues to suckle her, toying with her nipple by flicking it back and forth, rubbing the flesh and pressing into her mounds with his lips as he pulled and allowed her to let out a loud moan.
"Oh god!" she shouts as he co
ntinued to massage her breasts.
She comes back to her senses, her face was flushed and she looks down at him, growling, "Just what are you doing?"
"Claiming you." He responds, it was as if someone else had taken over his body, someone that was far more ferocious and primal.
Someone that was not in control.
He grabs her legs and licks her thighs, causing her to grow wetter and wetter. She wanted to fight him but she knew that she had wanted this. Ever since she had seen him in that small cage with his rippling muscles and his powerful stance she knew that he had done something very peculiar to her.
He had made her feel like a woman, helpless, under control, aroused as hell.
"Oh fuck!" she nearly screamed as he licks her pussy.
He stares at her womanhood, her breeding slit was smaller than those in Rialan anatomy, at least from what he had seen in his education as a prince. He was taught in the most clinical manner how to please a woman and how to ensure the maximum amount of efficiency when using her to please himself.
But when he looked at her, all of that knowledge had gone out the window in favour of the primal urge that he was feeling now.
He pins her legs down and she growls out in frustration as his tongue plunges into her and she nearly moans to the heavens. Her short black hair dances over her face and her brown eyes rolled back as she felt his large green hands travel towards her breasts to massage them.
"More!" she shouts unintentionally, not knowing what had come over her besides this lust that was now trickling through her veins.
She grits her teeth together, hoping that he wouldn't make a fool of her. It was a dumb idea to try to kill a man that had easily stopped her from getting killed. He had appeared from seemingly out of nowhere. How was that sort of man susceptible to any sort of attack? Especially by a human girl with no mechanical aid?
She hadn't know what she had been thinking but she lets the thought subside as her urges begin to take over her mind as well and she shuts her eyes, hoping that she wouldn't embarrass herself too much.
