  “Thank you,” she whispers.

With her coat off I can see that she has a deliciously thick and curvy body. Some might even say she’s a “big girl”. But not me. I’m six feet four and I’m bigger than just about anyone, so to me she looks to be the perfect size in all the right places…

She sips her tea, and twirls some of her beautiful blonde hair with her free hand.

“I don’t mean to sound rude, Aidan. You must hate me. I’ve just been through a lot lately, and none of this is helping very much.”

“No worries at all, Miss. Somersby. I understand completely.”

“Well, you don’t—because you don’t even know half of what I’m going through. There’s no way you could understand.”

I make my own cup of tea and sit down on the couch. I stretch my long legs out in front of me and then realize I’ve forgotten to cover my crotch. If she were to look at it, she’d get quite a surprise. I grab a pillow and lay it across my lap.

“Why don’t you try me? Tell me what you’ve been going through. I think you’ll find me a lot more understanding than you think I am.”

  “I—I don’t know…”

“Try me, Elyse.” It’s not a request. It’s more like a command. I can sense that the girl will respond to something like that.

  She sighs heavily. “Ok…”

I don’t know what comes over me, but I pour my heart out to this strange man.

As I give him the whole story, I can’t help but pause now and then to just take a moment and let myself be mesmerized by him. Aidan is a huge muscular man with wavy dark hair, intense and mysterious brown eyes, and a beard that has distinguished specks of grey throughout. He looks like he’s been through a lot, and I guess maybe that’s why I’m able to give him the whole story of my terrible ex-boyfriend, and why I decided to come to this mountain in the first place.

Aidan nods and seems to be listening very closely as I tell my story. Finally, I let out a deep sigh as I finish.

“That’s it,” I say. “You asked for it. I hope you’re not sorry about that.”

“Not at all,” he replies. He rests his index finger on his chin and smiles. “I think Chase didn’t understand what he had with you. You deserve a man who will appreciate you and never take you for granted.”

“Well, thank you. You don’t know that I’m worth all that though. I could be a terrible girlfriend. You only got my side of the story.”

“Yours is the only side I want. I know all I need to about Chase. He sounds like a worthless heap.”

“Ok, well, you’re sweet,” I reply.

“So, the novel you’re writing. Are you planning to work on it while you’re here?”

“Um, that was the plan, but I think things have changed a bit. I don’t think I can concentrate.”

I’m not sure if I can’t concentrate because of all the horrible things that have happened to me or because of the intense stare of the startlingly handsome mountain man in front of me. My legs begin to bounce as if of their own accord, and I have to push them down and hold them there. When I look back up at Aidan, I notice he’s still looking at me with the same intense look.

“You are beautiful, Elyse,” he says.

“I just broke up with my boyfriend. I’m not looking for a man to say that to me right now. I know what you want, and you’re not going to get it.”

“What do you think I want? I was just letting you know how beautiful I think you are. My compliment comes with no expectations. Learn to accept such things, and I think you’ll start to feel better.”

I shiver and look around for a blanket, but there aren’t any.

  “I’m cold,” I announce.

Aidan pats the couch cushion next to him. “Come here and I’ll help you warm up,” he says. Now I know I was right about him and what he wants. He’s probably plotting to get me into his bed — after all, I’m the wounded girl who needs to be told that she’s beautiful and just needs the right man to make it all better, right?

“I’ll be fine over here,” I reply.

“Suit yourself,” he says. “How about some more tea?”

Before I can respond, Aidan gets up and comes towards me. I hand him my cup, not sure whether I even want any more tea. But I can’t seem to fight him on this for some strange reason. I’ll let him take care of me in this way and this way only. Even though I’m starting to wonder what it would be like to sit next to him and snuggle up close. It is pretty cold in here right now, even with the fire going, or maybe it’s just my body’s way of trying to convince me that I need to get closer to him.

I look back at Aidan as he refills my cup and returns to the living area. He hands me the steaming mug and I immediately place it on the small table next to me.

“What about you? You’ve listened to me ramble on about my problems. Why are you on this mountain? Don’t you want to be among people or find a girlfriend or something?”

“When I came back from Afghanistan, I was a mess. I had seen too much death and destruction. I needed peace. This is where peace lives as far as I’m concerned.”

“That’s it then, huh? An escape from the horrors of war?”

“That’s all there is to it. I’m happy here, and I think that in order to live our best life we should just do what makes us happy.”

“You sound like a new age self-help book.”

He laughs and sits back down. “You won’t find new age anything here, sweetheart. In fact, I’d say I’m rather old school.”

  “You definitely seem like it.”

He pats the couch cushion again as I shiver once more. “I won’t bite, sweetheart. I promise.”

There he goes again — constantly defying my request not to call me “sweetie” or “sweetheart”. And I think it would be much more infuriating if I didn’t feel so drawn to him for some reason…

“Maybe I want you to bite me,” I blurt out. “I could be kinky like that.”

Oh my God, Elyse. Why the hell did you say something like that to him? Where did it even come from? This isn’t like you at all!

As I contemplate where my bizarre outburst came from, Aidan chuckles. “You’re a funny girl. I think you don’t even know how funny. It’s been a long time since I’ve laughed this much.”

All of a sudden, I get a sinking feeling as it finally hits me — tomorrow is Valentine’s Day and I’m on a mountain snowed in with a stranger. There will be no Valentine for me this year. That’s not so unusual though. Before Chase I was always single on Valentine’s day. My phone is still on the couch where I tossed it earlier. I have the urge to grab it and text Chase about what a horrible man he is for breaking up with me right before Valentine’s Day, but I can’t do it with no signal up here. I’ll have to stay strong and focus on something else—something like the handsome mountain man right in front of me.

“Do you know what tomorrow is?” I ask him.

“I hardly even keep track of the days of the week anymore up here, sweetheart. No need to.”

“Well, it’s Valentine’s Day. I tried to forget about it, but I just remembered.”

  “Is that so?” He asks.

  I nod.

“Well, I’ll have to make us a special dinner tomorrow night.”

“I hope I’ll be back on the road by tomorrow afternoon,” I reply.

“I don’t think you understand your present situation at all, Elyse,” he says.

His fingers tap the couch cushion beside him, and I wonder if that’s some subtle signal to call me over to sit beside him. I bring my knees up to my chest and hold them there in an effort to stay in place. I can’t give in to my desire to get closer to him.

  “Damn, it’s cold in here.”

“The fire is going at full blast, and this cabin isn’t that large, sweetheart. I’m very warm right now. My offer to heat you up still stands.”

I find my legs sliding back down and my feet reach the ground. It can’t hurt to sit next to
him. That’s all I’ll do. There will be no kiss or anything else. I’m stronger than I realize. I can resist him.

I get up and walk slowly to the couch. I sit down on the opposite end from Aidan. I move my phone to the table beside me, because I’m afraid this big man will sit on it and crush the thing.

Aidan scoots in closer to me and wraps his arm around my shoulders. My breathing quickens, and I can feel my heart pounding against my chest. He’s going to try something. I just know it. I can’t trust him…I can’t trust…

Maybe I can’t trust myself. I move in closer to Aidan and rest my head on his chest. The next thing I know his fingers are moving slowly through my hair and he’s twirling my hair around them. It feels so good and relaxing. I feel warmer already as I let myself sink into his hard body. This is crazy. I’m losing my mind. I shouldn’t be doing this, but for some reason I just can’t stop myself.

“See, it’s not so bad, right?” His voice is deep and soothing. I can imagine listening to him tell me stories about his life’s adventures and just letting myself be carried away on his entrancing words.

“Aidan, you’ve been in love before, right?” I ask. I want him to tell me about his life. He’s so damn mysterious. Maybe hearing him tell me about all the women he’s been with will knock some sense into me and I’ll see him for what he is — some mountain lothario who probably lures women up to the mountain and takes advantage of them. Yeah, that must be what he is.

“Only once,” he says. “But I think I just thought it was love. I was young, and foolish. She broke my heart. Ran off with my best friend! I’m pretty certain now that she was using me to get closer to him. She never loved me, and I just liked the idea of being in love. You know what I mean?”

Damnit. He’s not at all what I thought. He’s a sensitive and sweet guy.

“Ok, well, surely you must have dated other girls after her, right?”

“I went on a few dates, yes. But I never felt the spark I was looking for, so I never went on a second date with any of them. Then I joined the military, and when I came home, I moved to this mountain. There’s not much of a story to my love life.”

“Do you think you’ll ever feel that spark again?” I ask. My eyes close, and I take a deep relaxing breath. Damnit. I feel so much better being close to him.

“I’m sure I will,” he says. “In fact, I’m willing to bet I’d feel it right now if you let me give you a kiss.”

There we have it. This man is smoother than any I’ve met in my life. We’ve been building to this point since I got here, and Aidan has probably been carefully planning it the whole time — just waiting for the right moment when my guard will be down.

“You want to kiss me?” I ask.

“You sound so surprised,” he replies. “I’ve already told you I think you’re beautiful. In fact, I think you’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.”

“You can’t be for real,” I whisper.

  “Let’s find out,” he says.

I sit up and rub my eyes. I turn to look at him. Our eyes lock and we just sit there in silence for a few moments. I should say something — something like “No, I don’t think it’s a good idea if we kiss.” But I can’t find the words. Part of me really must want him to kiss me.

Aidan’s warm hand presses against my cheek as he leans in and places his lips over mine. I try to keep my mouth closed — to show some sign of resistance. But all it takes is his hot breath on my lips to make me open up and accept his tongue. Everything is so damn slow at first — a tentative touch of our tongues here, a quick swipe across each other there. And as this tease continues, my thighs begin to quake. I have to admit to myself that I’m attracted to this man and this kiss will just be the start of it.

I think I’m in big trouble now. And as if to confirm it, his kiss becomes more intense and searching. I gasp into his mouth and let him take my breath away in a blaze of passion.

Yes, that seems like the sensible thing to do…

I won’t be gentle with her.

I can tell just from my short time with her that she wouldn’t want me to be.

Her seemingly innocent comment about wanting me to bite her — I’m certain that’s a sign she likes things a little rough, and that’s just what I’ll give her.

I grab both of her wrists roughly as we kiss, and I pull her against me. I get the sense she wants to pull away—at least stop to take a breath. But I won’t give her that chance just yet. She needs to feel the full force of just how much I want her.

Her gasps and moans have turned to soft whimpers in my mouth.

I lean forward into her and press her against the armrest of the couch. My tongue pushes deeper inside her mouth and explores every corner. As I kiss her my manhood grows harder — more than it ever has been, and it’s all because of her. I want to plunge it deep inside of her and spread her little wet pussy out as far as I can. I want to hear her scream. There are a few people on this mountain. Some of them may even be here now. But there’s nothing to stop my sweet little Elyse from screaming at the top of her lungs up here. We’re at least a mile away from my nearest neighbor. Most likely no one will hear her but me.

I pull back from her to give her a moment of rest. And then I stand and pull her up with me. The couch is ill suited for what I’ve got in mind.

“Where are you taking me?” She whispers.

I don’t answer. I just lead her to my large comfortable bed.

  “Sit,” I command her.

She sits down on the edge of the bed, and I get down on my knees in front of her. I pull her fuzzy boots off first and toss them to the side.

“I’m—I’m not going to sleep with you yet, Aidan,” she says.

“That’s fine by me. But I’m not going to wait another moment to taste you,” I growl.

“What?” She asks. “Oh, I—I don’t know—”

  “Just relax, sweetheart,” I reply.

  “Ok.”

With that she leans back onto the mattress, and I go to work undoing her jeans. I am not slow about this though. Once unbuttoned, I yank her pants down to her ankles. Her panties are next. She does nothing to stop me, but she does reach out and touch the top of my head. The connection from her makes my body jolt. I can feel my need for her in every muscle of my body. I’m right on the edge of erupting into a full body quake. It’s coming and there won’t be anything I can do to stop it.

With her panties off, her honey scent floods my nose as I move in closer. Her wild and natural bush draws me in, and I take a deep sniff as my hands grasp her hips. I dig my fingers into her flesh and feel the wave of surprise that rolls through her body.

She jerks in my hands and cries out as I circle my tongue along her pussy lips.

“No one’s ever done this to me before,” she cries out as I move on to pushing my tongue inside of her. I open her up and she gushes onto me. She was already sitting here all wet for me—just waiting for me to take her. I knew she wanted me as badly as I wanted her. From the moment we set eyes on each other, I’m certain that this was inevitable.

She tastes sweet and perfect to me. I can’t get enough of lapping up her juices as they flood my tongue. Her delicious virgin moans give pleasure to my ears unlike any sound I’ve ever heard.

I flick her clit and she trembles so hard the bed shakes. I get a tighter grip on her and lash out at her swollen pearl with a furious desire. She moans louder and in between those moans her breath falls into a pulse pounding rhythm.

My cock swells up and stretches as I devour her. It beats against my jeans. But I will have to be patient. All I will have right now is this taste of her. I will make her scream with pleasure and then let her rest. Later I’ll claim her as mine and there will be no turning back for either of us.

Her thighs squeeze around my head and her body rises off the bed as she lets out her loudest scream yet.

  “Aidan!” She cries out.

  I don’t slow down
. In fact, I speed up and increase the fury of my assault.

“Oh my God! How many times are you going to make me cum?” She asks.

I could answer her, but that would mean having to take my mouth off her delicious honey pot, and I’m not about to do that.

She thrashes about and screams again and again as I lead her from one orgasm to the next. I’m not sure how long it’s been, but eventually Elyse cries out that she can take no more. I reluctantly lift my head from between her thighs and smile wide for her.

“What was that?” She asks as her body trembles from the remains of her orgasms.

  “Just the beginning,” I reply.

I climb onto the bed and lie beside her. We are both so silent that I can hear her heart beating rapidly.

“Well, I’m warmer now,” she says with a chuckle. “Did you feel the spark you were looking for?”

“Yes, and I’m damn sure you felt it too,” I reply.

  *

I roll onto my side beside him and lay a hand on his hard stomach. I let his breath carry my hand up and down as his stomach rises and falls. And I slowly slide It across his body till I reach his belt buckle. I let my hand wander farther down until my palm is cupped over his crotch. I get a surprise as his thing slams against my hand. I jerk it off quickly.

“Not what you were expecting?” He asks.

“Just a bit of a shock,” I reply. “And I shouldn’t do anything more than this, anyway. I’m not going to sleep in your bed tonight, Aidan. I have to leave tomorrow.”

“You’re trapped here with me. We might as well make the best use of our time together,” he growls.

I wonder if he plans to keep me hostage here. The sound of the wind whipping outside reminds me that the weather is already holding me hostage. But I still plan to try to leave tomorrow. This is no longer my family’s cabin, and I don’t feel right about staying here. I can’t believe I just laid back and allowed him to eat me out like that. Maybe my earlier walk through the snow warped my brain. Maybe there’s just something in the air up here that gets in the way of my good judgment.
