Luke saw the longing in Molly’s eyes. He knew she was afraid they would never have children and decided to call the doctor the next day. If he was the reason, she didn’t get pregnant, he would never forgive himself.

Lucy walked to the garden where the chairs were still lined up. It looked prettier yesterday when she watched the wedding. She picked up a flower that was lying on the ground and pretended she was a bride walking down the aisle. She was almost to the end when she noticed someone sleeping across a row of chairs.

“Hey mister, wake up, are you hungry? Everybody is eating breakfast inside but I’m too full.”

Lucy was frightened when the man didn’t move and wanted to tell her daddy about him. She ran into the restaurant and told Travis there was a man sleeping in the garden.

Travis walked to the garden with several of the others following him.

He was lying face down and Travis had a sinking feeling he was ill or worse. He touched his hand and knew right away the man was dead.

“Brooke, take Lucy inside and call the police.”

  Brooke did as he asked.

“Who is it Travis? Was he a guest at the wedding?” asked Jenny.

“Travis turned the body around showing the man’s face.”

Laura looked over Jenny’s shoulder and covered a scream with her hand. “That man is my father!”
