Sign up and I’ll send it your way!
Y’know….
There’s something about that first smell of a barn once you’ve rolled up, slipped your boots on, and have grabbed a shovel, fork and broom… there’s something about it… that something is 100% love.
There’s room in the world of Serenity Stables for you. Because there’s also something wonderful about being and feeling connected… to belong to a place. I searched for the barns I needed my whole life… and I found them, at last, at last.
I created Serenity Stables as a way to be with horses that heal and with characters who clumsily and beautifully fall in love. The world of Serenity Stables is for you.
So, please, grab a cup of cocoa, put your feet up and dive in. You’re always invited… join me at Serenity Stables.
The Sweetness of Collaboration & Support
My world, both personal and fictional, has been supported by the following amazing humans and animals.
Elena Abbott, InkBlotter, Seattle, my friend, editor, and fellow pen-fiend. Gentle and true, I appreciate the heart and joy in both the work and the process. When I finish a book, we go out for breakfasts with milkshakes… a beautiful tradition.
Kari March, of Kari March Designs, cover designer and absolute pro who I’d love to someday meet and give a big bear hug. I saw a cover, bought the book, and hoped her name would be listed as designer. Oh happy day, and happy me, I found her!
My barn homes and communities, and, yes, there are two as of this writing: one where I am a volunteer, the other where I am a herd member. They feed this soul and teach me, each in their own way. The horses, whether rescued or owned, are my teachers. I learn about them and also, much more, about me.
My Beloved and biggest fan, for our life together, your love and support in helping me find the courage to open my whole heart -and time- to this writing. Your proofreading is stellar and appreciated as well, my babe. #yeahwosie
