As Voltar pushed inside, expanding my muscles, the girth widening with every inch, I held my breath. The pain was the most intense yet exquisite I’d felt and within seconds, he was totally inside, filling me with his massive throbbing shaft. I was shocked that I liked it, even a little bit, but when I started to relax, I was actually smiling.

“Oh...” Stars floated in my periphery of vision and I was in some fantasy land, barely able to feel my fingers or toes.

When the two aliens began to pump into me, the beautiful erotic dance orchestrated, I relinquished control, nothing more than their fuck toy to use and fill.

Voltar smacked my ass once, twice, his hard fucking become even more savage. The effect pushed Degan’s cock further inside. As Voltar’s tendril began to explore, I gasped. How could there be any more intense pleasure than this?

I felt the weight of the bed change and finally managed to see Kodroth had returned, his throbbing cock even larger than before.

“Open your mouth, little human. Every hole belongs to us,” Kodroth commanded.

I did as I was told without any hesitation, accepting and sucking on the tip. I could taste remnants of my cream sliding across my tongue. He palmed both sides of my face, throwing his head back as he pumped his cock into my mouth.

There was no escaping their utter control, not that I wanted to. There was nothing but male and very primal sounds filling the room, the sounds of hard fucking like the sweetest music and within seconds, I knew every one of my masters was ready to explode deep inside.

“Do you want to come, little human?” Voltar whispered hoarsely.

There was no way for me to answer, but I knew he understand every quiver of my body.

“Then when I tell you, you’re allowed.” He pumped even harder and faster, driving into my asshole in the most amazing, brutal fashion.

When all the men tensed, I was rocketed into a place of bliss that I’d never experienced before. Voltar roared, “Now!” and the delicious climax roared up from the very depths of my being, curling my toes and driving me into utter ecstasy. I came in wave after wave, struggling not to gag as Kodroth filled my mouth with cum, strings spilling out on both sides.

When I was finally released, I was exhausted and more satisfied than I’d ever been in my life.

I felt the warmth of a wet cloth washing off the remnants of our combined cum, stroking between my legs. I was rolled over onto my stomach and when hands pried my ass cheeks apart, I whimpered softly. Another plug. This one was much larger.

I accepted, far too tired to even complain.

Voltar eased me under the covers. I was so surprised how gentle he was, taking his time to position the sheets under my chin. He was the stoic Centurion, my true disciplinarian, but I couldn’t help but wonder if I could fall in love with him.

I watched his eyes as they roamed over me, soft fingers brushing hair out of my face. “We leave for Skars tomorrow.”

“Why do I have the feeling you don’t want that to happen?”

He exhaled. “Nothing for you to worry about.” After a slight pat on my arm, he walked toward the door, flipping off the light.

“Voltar. Remember your promise. I will do anything you want as long as my family is kept safe.”

He hesitated in the doorway, the dim lighting of the hallway only illuminating his eyes. They glowed tonight, something I’d never noticed before. While he didn’t say anything to me, I could already see the answer in his luminescent gaze.

He would die trying to protect my family.

As I fell asleep, I could still see his face.

  * * *

  “Bring her, now!”

The voice was dark and riddled with anger. I backed away, trying to catch my bearings, tripping over fallen logs as I attempted to run. Hands immediately grabbed me, carrying me like a sack of potatoes toward the sound. How had I gotten lost? I knew these woods.

“No! Please let me go!” I screamed out, incensed as so many of the men began to laugh. I could see their eager faces, all human and all very... hungry. I was attached to poles, my wrists and ankles tied together, and I was carried deeper into the forest. I felt their burning desire as dozens of them walked next to me, chiding looks followed by lewd gestures.

I’d only wanted to find food for my family. Instead, I found pure hell.

I struggled the entire way and what had to be a full hour later, I was eased down onto hard ground. Only then were my bindings released. I scrambled to get up, trying once again to run. Massive hands caught me by the arms. I would never forget his face, his human face leering down at me.

“You can’t get away, little girl. You belong to us now.”

Suddenly, my clothes were ripped away and no matter how many times I screamed, begging to be let go, I knew that wasn’t going to happen. They’d captured their prey. When I was completely naked, I was led closer to a roaring fire and toward the shadowed face of the man behind the voice.

He turned toward me, yet I still couldn’t make out his features.

  “Get her ready.”

I could see something being placed in the fire. A stick of some kind. Soon after, the end glowed hot, the bright orange and red colors dancing in the licking flames.

“Position her. From here after, this bitch will forever belong to me!”

  Boom!

The single noise shattered my sleep, awakening me with a start. Jerking up, I tried to figure out where I was. The dream had been so real, so intense. The nightmare was always the same, even though it had been weeks since I’d experienced it. I’d never been able to see his face, the monster who’d branded me. I know I’d seen it as he’d stood over me like some king of the jungle. I’d heard the whispers of others, a man called the Demon. Why couldn’t I remember what he looked like?

Another sound jarred my attention. The entire compound seemed to be rumbling in the aftermath of whatever had occurred. I scurried out of bed, trying to catch my bearings. The only light was some blue glow coming from near the door. I struggled to find my way toward the light and for some reason, the collar seemed tighter.

I tripped over something and dropped to the floor with a hard thud, the breath knocked out of me. My eyes began to sting. There was a stench and I knew instantly what was going on. Smoke was rolling under the door. The compound was on fire.

  “Help!”

Alarms started to blare. I scuttled backwards, crawling on my hands and knees. I had to try to get away from the door. A wash of light came on in the room, blinking on and off, the warm glow allowing me to make my way toward the bathroom. We were under attack. Panic tore through me as I raced into the small space, grabbing as many towels as I could, wetting one for my face and nose.

I tried to remain calm, knowing in my heart that someone would come to get me.

That is, if they weren’t already dead.

  Oh, God. Oh, God!

The thought terrifying, I shoved towels under the crack and stumbled away, glancing up at the small window. There was no way for a human to fit through it. I could die in here.

Think. Think! The warrior girl inside tried to rationalize what, if anything I could do. Clothes. I had to find some clothes.

They’d left my bag in the room and I’d brought a few pieces, as much as I’d been able to fit. My entire body was shaking and I coughed, smoke continuing to find its way past the dense towels. I managed to get into some clothing just as I heard what sounded like heavy footsteps.

What if it wasn’t the Centurions? I bit back another cry and rushed into the bathroom, closing the door. There was nothing I had to block it. Nothing. I crowded behind the tub, the alarms blaring even louder. Covering my ears, I shrank down and for the first time in so very long, I prayed.

I heard nothing for a few seconds then an earthshattering crash as well as another series of footsteps. The dream rushed into my mind as well as the sounds of his laughter. No. No! No!

The face of the monster was suddenly there, in front of me. He was a
live. He’d found me. He was here to take me away, to keep me as his own. Looming over me, his massive figure was smiling down. “No!”

“Felicity, it’s me. Degan. You’re fine. I have you.” He gathered me into his arms, tossing me over his shoulder. “The compound is on fire. We have to get out of here. Hold your breath.”

I was so disoriented that I simply let myself be taken. I could feel the heat of flames lapping around us as Degan raced through the fire, moving down one dark corridor after another. The smoke was so thick and I had no idea how he knew where he was going. I kept the towel over my face, but within seconds I was wheezing.

“We’re almost there. Hold tight.” His voice was so comforting.

Everything was a blur as he bounded up sets of stairs. The power. That’s right. There couldn’t be any power. That’s why he’d burst into the room. Suddenly, everything was spinning and I couldn’t breathe.

“Felicity. Are you all right? Felicity?”

My legs and arms tingled, and I was cognizant of being laid down, the same face looming over me. I tried to take deep breaths, but everything was so cold and so...

  Chapter Thirteen

  Voltar

“What in the hell?” I yelled at the top of my lungs, even though there was no need. We’d been safely transported by several transport ships to the Stellar Enterprise, one of the finest in our fleet. The capabilities of this newer fighting machine were phenomenal and could allow us to remain in space for up to four years. The massive structure could also hold several thousand people if necessary.

I was shocked the High Council had allowed the ship to be used, which also told me there was much more going on than simply catching the bastard, Zayn.

“At least she’s all right,” Kodroth comforted. “All to the thanks of Degan, I might add.”

“Don’t remind me,” I glowered, feeling more guilt than I had before. I’d left Felicity alone, trying to find out the position of the marauders. “What about the false alarm regarding Colony 57?” The frantic call had come from one of the human soldiers, stating all the Watchers had been massacred and that they were being taken over by the marauders.

And I’d bought the line of bullshit, putting everyone in the compound, including Felicity in danger. There was nothing anyone could say to me that would console my fury. The intent had been to take the compound, capturing Felicity along with the attack.

Kodroth handed me a drink then patted me on the shoulder. “Relax. From what our soldiers told me, it appears that we took out all the leaders, including Zayn. We had help from two of our sister communities, who surrounded the ragtag group and eliminated several hundred of them.”

“I don’t buy it.” I swirled the liquor before swallowing the entire amount, the burn feeling fucking fantastic at this point. Kodroth and I had been lucky to get back to the compound at all. I’d never seen such organized forces. The marauders had been given explicit orders to annihilate almost everyone in our group.

  Almost.

“Come on, Voltar. Give it a rest. They all wore the same markings of the men from before. The person leading them was definitely giving the orders. I inspected the bodies myself before we left.”

I shook my head and walked closer to the expansive window looking out at the stars. “You don’t understand, Kodroth. There are things I haven’t been able to tell you.”

He flanked my side, remaining quiet.

I darted a look in his direction, curling my lip. “Orders. You know I couldn’t break them. Certain aspects of our mission had to remain top secret.”

“Yeah, I am well aware that you’re privileged with information, Captain.”

I heard at least a level of animosity in his voice. He was my best friend. There hadn’t been anything I wasn’t able to share, at least up to this point. All I could think about was Felicity and the fact she’d almost perished in the fire. She was still unconscious, although her prognosis was excellent. There were dozens of qualified medical personnel on board. There were at least a dozen of my men injured, some significantly and I’d been required to leave. I had no knowledge of who was taking my place. Commander Futan would answer to me one way or the other.

“Well, for what it’s worth, no Centurion lives were lost. Yes, there were injuries, but everyone is expected to fully recover.” Kodroth quietly sipped his drink. “Colony 57 is secure at this point and the human soldiers responsible for the attack are in the prison cell on this ship. Everything ended fairly well.”

“Of course it did.” The same nagging feeling remained like a cesspool in my stomach, eating away at my insides. Neat and tidy. Too much so.

“So, are you going to tell me what’s so damn secretive and the cause for such angst?”

I smiled, fingering my glass. There was no reason to keep the secret any longer. “Zayn had other purposes. He is not who you think he is.” Although I still had no idea what that meant.

The door opening stopped the conversation. Degan walked in, giving us both a nod, although his face held the same level of exhaustion we all felt.

“You’re looking better than when I last saw you.” Kodroth moved toward him, gripping his arm.

“And I feel a hell of a lot better,” Degan said, a grin popping on his face.

I was stymied as to what to say, but the fact Degan had stepped up to the plate, taking over exactly as he should and saving her life certainly changed things. Time to let bygones be bygones.

Kodroth cleared his throat as he threw me a nasty look. “I think this calls for a real celebration.” He walked toward the bar, mumbling under his breath.

I offered a half smile as I headed closer to Degan. “Thank you for what you did, not only saving our people but Felicity as well.”

“You’re welcome, our illustrious leader. I knew something was off, which is why I stayed behind. I’m just glad I could be there. I just...” He gave a faraway look. “Well, that’s no matter. We’re back on track and headed home.” We shook hands tentatively until I finally allowed my resolve to break down, pulling him into a bear hug.

“You will be exalted upon our return to Skars. I will tell your father personally of your accomplishments.”

He chuckled as he eased back. “I don’t care about commendations or even gratitude. I told you, I was looking for honor. I feel I have that with you two as friends and with one very feisty human as our pet.” His grin was infectious. “Let’s hold on that celebration. Our little human is asking for us.”

“Yes!” Kodroth pumped his fist before noticing my face. “What? I like the girl. Okay? And she’s our mate, in case the two of you don’t remember.”

I couldn’t help but laugh. At least on this ship, we had absolute safety and the two-week trip would allow us time to get to know one another. There certainly could be worse things in life. “How could I forget?”

  Degan’s face remained pensive.

“What’s wrong, my friend?” I asked casually.

“I have a very bad feeling,” he answered.

Kodroth raised his eyebrow. “You both and your damn feelings. We’re here in a safe location. The remaining marauders can quite frankly fight themselves to death. We’re going home. I, for one, can’t wait. You two?” He laughed.

Degan sighed. “Kodroth is right. We can worry about Zayn later.”

“I thought he was dead,” I quipped, my anger riling again.

  “I believe so.”

Why did I have the terrible feeling that Zayn had never been a target or that he’d never intended on setting foot into our compound? Another ploy. Another game.

I would get to the bottom of what the fuck was going on.

“Let’s go see her.” I rubbed my cock for emphasis. “I think she needs some quality time with the three of us.”

“I did happen to notice she was wearing clothes when she was dropped into the convoy truck.” Kodroth led the way toward the door.

“That is true. She is a total rule-breaker,” Degan added, his laughter b
ooming into the room.

“That she is. Once she’s healed, well, another spanking is in order.” My visions turned far more seductive than they should have. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on her.

“Well, I do have it under advisement that Felicity is fully recovered, even fighting her recuperation period.” Degan winked.

“Then she needs to be here.” Kodroth couldn’t get his drink down fast enough.

I allowed the jovial talk to continue, even though my mind couldn’t wrap around the facts of what had occurred. I would have an opportunity to speak with Commander Futan later today. Perhaps his... perspective would prove to be helpful. Grabbing a leash, I fingered the leather piece between my fingers, enjoying the sensations. I hadn’t allowed myself to think about going home, but certain visions entered my mind. Beautiful landscapes. Fresh streams.

I only hoped they were still there.

We bantered on our way to the medical facilities, passing scores of other Centurions on our way. When we reached the secured area, we all seemed eager, even more so than I would have imagined. Felicity had made a place in our lives, as well as our hearts. The thought was quite riveting.

We found her just as I would have expected, arguing with the assistant. I smiled as we held back, listening in for a few seconds.

“I’m fine. How many times do I have to tell you that?” Felicity insisted.

“You have a lot of smoke inhalation and your lungs do not handle it as well as our kind does. You need to rest,” the assistant said, the tone exasperated.

  “She’s hardheaded,” Degan commented.

“She’s exactly what we hoped for,” Kodroth said with pride in his voice.

“She needs training,” I countered, trying not to laugh. We walked inside, immediately noticing that Felicity stood closer to the window, her arms folded over the hospital-style gown, her expression one of fire.

Felicity huffed when she noticed us. “Would you please tell this... person that I’m just fine?”

“This person is a trained medical professional that quite possibly saved your life. I suggest you thank her and move back to your bed.” I issued the command knowing she’d balk at my direction.
