He’s the first to believe in her.
That was my favorite thing about Luck.
He also leads by example. And not everyone does this. But this is an innate quality of Luck. If he wants Nyleena to trust him with her secrets, then he has to trust her with his.
Because that’s the true definition of a soul mate, right? Not someone who makes your heart thump erratically, or your palms sweat uncontrollably, or can fuck you into bliss.
A soul mate is someone who has your back. A soul mate is someone who puts it all on the line to save you. A soul mate is loyal and part of your team.
So there’s lots of mysteries and there’s lots of answers coming in the next book, Prison Princess. Tray’s book, with a special guest appearance from Valor and ALCOR, and his literal Prison Princess, Brigit.
This next book will start answering questions like:
What the fuck is up with the ALCORs?
What is Veila doing?
Are Valor and Veila destined to be together?
Who is Booty really loyal to?
What was Tray really doing inside the Pleasure Prison?
Where did he and Valor actually land when they walked through that spin node?
And, of course, will they all make it back to Harem Station before Nyleena’s babies are born?
This last one won’t actually be answered in Prison Princess. Tray and Valor have “disappeared”. So… where are they? And what are they doing?
Guess you’ll have to read it to find out!
