“All guards report to battle stations! We are under siege from the Fairy Clan! All guard units from the 5th floor below join up with me while the rest of you form up onto your own groups. We must quickly prepare to defend the Prisoner’s Hall!” Pylan said as he ended the command by tapping a strange pillar.

After a few moments of time, all of the guards below the 6th floor arrived in bulk moving down the many meters wide stairway in large groups as a series of quaking footsteps headed up from even the lowest floor. A team of over 7500 special elite guards arranged themselves into a neat formation as they saluted the guard chief.

Pylan seeing this nodded as he commanded 1500 of the guards, “As we are pressed on time, I will not go into too many details. You lot, I want half of you to guard this post! The rest will follow me to aid with the defense of the underground pathway.”

“We hear and obey!” The group who were designated to defend this post immediately spread out and made a complex defensive formation.

Pylan glanced around the groups again and saw that Feng Yu wasn’t and sighed, “It seems the newbie really did die... oh well! It’s ‘Death’s Floor’ after all, how could he not die? Let's go!”

As he said this, he then grasped his pike and rushed towards the surface at full speed along with the remainder of his squad to prevent any enemies from breaking through the underground pathway.

On the upper floors, the guards who heard Pylan's previous command became stunned as they started a commotion.

“What?! The Fairies, damn!” One guard exclaimed in anger.

“Not good, we have to keep the prison sealed immediately!” Another angrily exclaimed.

These guards were shocked, but they were also professionals they quickly cleared their minds and made their way towards the surface joining up with each other to create large units.

The prisoners in their cells upon hearing this news started to cheer with joy, as they thought this was a great opportunity.

“Hahaha! Serves you right!” One prisoner said.

“Now’s our chance to escape! Break the prison cells!” Another prisoner with more boldness said.

The more loosely imprisoned fiends that were jailed at the upper layers began to revolt as a few of the stronger ones managed to break apart their prison cells. Upon doing did this, they then swiftly moved to work on the other prison cells instantly causing a horde of fiends to escape from their cells.

“Damn! The prisoners are escaping, stop them!” One of the guards shouted in anger.

“Go! I’ll report this to the chief!” Another guard said as he took out a communication orb and started to send energy into it.

The other guards who were at the upper floors who saw the scene were enraged. They joined up and started an assault against the rebel fiends.

Boom! A shocking number of explosions rang out as the guard forces and the prisoners engaged in brutal combat causing the floors to shake and form a few spider web-like cracks.

Pylan who was now on the 5th-floor currently rushing towards the 4th floor frowned as he heard this news through a communication orb, he glanced towards his squad and prepared to make a new command but was soon distracted by an odd scene.

  It was quiet, too quiet...

He didn’t notice it on previous floors before, but upon branching off his senses to inspect the scene on his current floor. He couldn’t help but knit his brows as he spoke to a few of the guards on the scene, “You bunch, you were assigned to this floor, right? Why are the indigenous so quiet?”

One of the guards from that section made an embarrassed smile as he responded, “I... I’m not sure, but right when the rumbling started, they started to behave this way a few moments ago. That newbie guard with the red hair had also thought it was quite strange as his prisoners on Death's Floor were also unusual. He said he checked each of their cells and saw that they were all the same, so he went on ahead to inspect the other cells above...”

“What?! That newbie fiend’s alive?” Pylan question in shock, but as he saw the confused expression on the guard’s face, he cleared his thoughts and asked a different question, “Did you inspect the cells with him on this level?”

“No... ah, I was in a rush to go down to meet up with you to form this squad, so I left it to him.” The guard replied.

“What?!” Pylan and the remaining guards shouted in unison, Pylan started to feel uneasy he looked towards another guard and said, “Check the cells on this floor immediately! A group of you should also go below and see what the situation is in those cells, the rest of you follow me we must see what’s going on in the next floors!”

“Yes, sir!” The guards replied in unison.

  Swish! Swish! Swish!

Quickly, they turned into blurs as they moved towards their designated objectives. The guards on this floor made a run through of each cell and saw that all of the prisoners were seated in a cross-legged position. However, what remained strange was that even upon approaching the direct front of the cell the prisoner didn’t even bat an eye.

The guard then decided to be sterner he pushed a mechanism designed to punish rebelling indigenous who were sealed.

Buzz! A buzzing sound soon followed as groups of electrical sparks shot from the cell's ceiling enveloping the prisoner, after a few rounds of electrocution the flashes vanished leaving behind the unchanged form of the prisoner.

“What on earth?!” The guard complained, but soon, there was a change...

The body of the cross-legged prisoner soon started to glow in blinding blue lights as a crack formed upon his surface, as if they detected his change, the other prisoners in the entire hallway began to shine in a similar light.

“Shit! What’s this all about?” A few of the guards who were inspecting this floor with this guard exclaimed, he was about to send a message to the guard chief, but, fate did not allow it...

Phewww! Bright rays of light beamed from each of the prisoner’s bodies which soon after crumbled into dust as the rays shot towards the central location of the prison hall. These lights then connected into one creating a small pulsating ball of energy, as if it was the origin of all things the ball continued to grow larger and larger as an ancient voice filled the world.

“I am the origin of all, the true singularity of all things. I am...”

The guards hearing this became stunned as one of them looked at the rapidly expanding ball of energy with deep fear as he exclaimed, “It’s the Ancient Magic – Singular Burst!”

With the sound of his voice, everything came to an end as all the prisoners belonging to the hallway vanished from existence leaving nothing behind. The hall now became a desolate place, its empty prisons cells and stairways remaining as usual.

If one looked carefully around this room, one would notice that a strange undamaged wristband was floating in the air. After a short moment, the wristband started to move as a few chunks of destroyed rubbles broke to piece as the sound of someone walking soon resounded throughout the now empty hallway.

Step! Step! Step! A few moments later, the footsteps managed to reach the edge of prisoner’s floor stopping before the stairways leading up and down. If one looked closely, they would see the semi-transparent figure of youth who became more visible with each passing breath.

Eventually, the form of a red-haired youth in a cyan armor appeared. His odd wristband around his arm glowed in a strange light for a moment.

Feng Yu looked at the stairs above with a hint of cunningness in his eyes as he thought, “Keep on searching you won’t find me up there, as for your friends below I’ll be sure to take good care of them.”

As he thought to here, he couldn’t help but look towards wide stairway the bottom floors with a cold light in his eyes. He then spoke to the void, “Return!”

Upon saying this, his wristband glowed brightly as all of the prisoners who belonged to the 9th up to the 5th floor appeared within the room creating a massive army of about 4100 natives. The prisoners on Death’s floor wer
e the fewest in number, but strongest as all of its 100 prisoners stood proudly before the masses of allied prisoners army.

Zyne walked before Feng Yu and spoke, “Now is a good chance, if we can get to the room below, not only can we free that blasted Fairy, we can also gather up some useful pieces of equipment, I believe my hammer should also be somewhere in the room below.”

Feng Yu hearing this nodded and replied, “Hmm, ok. We’ll do it your way, once we rescue the princess and gather the weapons. I want you all to help me get to the core of the palace I need to take an object there, once I’ve stolen that we will enact the – Great Escape Plan...”

The leader natives from the 9th floor nodded as they replied, “Understood!”

Feng Yu hearing them had a smile came on his face as he gripped the swords on his back slow unsheathing them. His aura climbed as his air rose to air quickly turning golden in color, while his terrifying thunderblaze auras rippled throughout the room. The wisp-like flames dancing around his form giving him a different kind of presence...

The natives seeing this became stunned as even Zyne had exclaimed to himself, “Phoenix and Dragon? Interesting, another human who walked a unique path... it seemed that this fellow had quite the chance, merging a Thunder Dragon Blood with an authentic Sacred Flame Phoenix. This is definitely the work of that man as this kid’s cultivation is too low to merge two Supreme Tier bloodlines by himself.”

Feng Yu having entered his battle form yelled, “Let’s go!” His body turning into a streak of blazing lighting that through the stairway descending to the bottom floors once more.

“Charge!” The natives also yelled in unison as they swarmed the wide passage of the stairway in unison...

The base floor was calm, as the 1500-man guard team remained in complete vigilance as they scoped surroundings.

The prison would shake as if it was undergoing an intense earthquake as the battle at the upper levels were only growing more fiercer by the minute, but these guards paid it no mind as they focused on their main task.

One of the guards was so bored that he yawned as he spoke, “So boring, Pylan getting all the action and sending us here to keep watch knowing full well no one can make it past him and his team, Che!”

Another guard hearing him laughed and replied, “No point in complaining, let's just consider this a well-deserved break from our usual patrolling rounds.”

“You are right, what could be better than sitting with nothing to do?” The other guard replied.

“Hahaha!” The 1500 guards hearing their words started to laugh in response, but this jovial scene ended abruptly.

Step-step-step-step! The sound of many footsteps that rumbled the earth and caused the walls to tremble, one could easily tell that this fast approaching group was no small amount. The guards sensing the change became solemn as they looked towards the stairway at the edge of the base floor with a deep look in their eyes.

Soon, the silhouettes of many natives appeared, led by 100 mighty looking natives with a golden-haired youth and a familiar looking Dwarfin.

The guards upon seeing not the group but rather the Dwarfin became stunned as their eyes became filled with fear.

“It's not good! It’s Z... Z... Zynnee!!!!!!” One of the guards exclaimed in shock, his voice echoing throughout the base floor as the native army had now descended in full battle array.

A stifling silence filled the area, as the tension rose to unparalleled limits...

Feng Yu who stood before the group looked at the guards with sharp light in his eyes as he spoke in a soft voice, “Well then, shall we get started!”

  Chapter 107

  __

  The Disaster at Ground Floor!

The scene below the depths of the Prisoners Hall was as a brutal one indeed. The Prisoners engaged in mortal combat against well-equipped guards who used well-trained formations to block and counter assault the rampaging prisoner fiends. Yet, despite their every effort to resist the prisoners, the losses incurred on the guard’s side would only further weaken their defenses as more and more prisoners began to add to the already overwhelming group.

Clink! Slash! One fiend battled fiercely in the middle of this violent battle, wielding a large round shield made from unknown materials adeptly to parry his foe's attacks while his other hand skillfully wielded a long pike carved with special engravings. He fluidly made his way through the prison warzone as his body swayed left and right to dodge hidden assaults, making sure to use his shield to parry more direct attacks knocking back those enemies before piercing his pike through the throats of unsuspecting enemies.

  Swish-swish-swish! Pu-chi! Pu-chi!

Like a raging storm, the pike fiend swept his way through all the revolting prisoners, again and again, bending his wrists skillfully causing the tip of the pike to dance as it slashed across their bodies turning them into bits. Their blood dying the grounds of the prison halls with their hues as the metallic zinc like scent wafted across the noses of everyone at war.

The defending guards seeing most of the enemies fallen promptly moved forwards to separate the enemies further with their well-coordinated formations tactics and skill they pressed forwards to clear out the now disarrayed fiends.

The pike fiend then looked around his surroundings at the bloody grounds of the hallway with a dark look on his face as he held his pike upwards, gripping it firmly. The blood formed by slaying his enemies staining his pike as it flowed down the handle towards his armor staining it with its dark blue color.

“Che! That damn Lei Feng, you better not let me get my hands on you, for when I do...” As Pylan said this, his face became even ferocious as a murderous aura spread from his entire being.

Clink! Bang! As he thought to himself, a guard who had been battling nearby killed a revolting fiend as he made his way over to Pylan with a look of urgency on his face.

“Guard Chief, there’s trouble!” The guard said hurriedly.

“Eh? What is it now?” Pylan asked in a tone filled with annoyance.

“It’s... it’s about that ground floor, sir!” The guard said.

“What?! What about the ground floor? Speak clearly!” Pylan asked with his bloodshot angered eyes.

“Sir, I just received an emergency report from the guard troops protecting that room below. They have come under the assault of the prisoners from the 5th to the 9th floor in unison, and it’s said that they are led by of each of the prisoners from the 9th floor, a red-haired human is also at scene assuming personal command!” The guard said.

“Assault? From the maximum-security prisons, and what’s this about a human?” Pylon said in shock, but soon, he noticed something strange as though to himself, “Wait... red hair... red-haired human? How can that be?”

“Damn! So, it was that damn human from the Gloomy Forest incident, no wonder those on the outside couldn’t find him. It turns out he infiltrated the palace to free the prisoners from the start, now that he’s freed that troublesome bunch, he’s become a force almost threatening enough to the resist the current palace.” Pylan said as he figured out everything.

Not wasting any time, he looked towards his group and commanded, “Everyone! Hurry up and kill these fiends! We have to secure the entrance outside before that group below makes it up here!” Pylan said as he assumed that Feng Yu’s group would naturally aim to leave the prison at once after battling the guard unit below, he didn’t even consider the possibility of them wanting to break into the secret room as the door can only be opened with special means.

Upon finishing his statement, he rushed into battle once more killing even more prisoners at a blinding rate.

“Yes, sir!” The groups of guards said in unison as the bloody battle above move towards its final act.

At the depths of the prison floors, the base floor.

Two armies stood face to face as they battled in a wild and brutal manner, causing the surroundings became a chaotic
mess. The Spector life beings turned into ghostly shades as they moved across the battle zone slaughtering unsuspecting fiend guards despite their dense formations as the Ancient Hawk-kind men soared to the vast heights of prisoner’s hall becoming visible by most individuals battling at the 3rd and 2th floors as they swooped down and destroyed their enemies with their strong claws.

As they did this, the Mermen tribe prisoners would attack in close combat with their scaly bodies dominating the defense of many of the weaker fiends. If one looked at the center of this battlefield, they would notice a short but stout looking figure with stumpy legs who lifted both of his muscular arms and smashed them about the wildly causing the bodies of his enemies to burst into multiple parts, their armors being useless to resist his strikes.

The shockwaves of his powerful attacks then pushed away all those who crossed his path causing them to smash into the prison walls leaving deep impressions despite them being made from incredibly durable materials.

As the figure committed this act of barbarism, he then slammed his hands together causing the space to ripple before picking a broken piece of armor from a corpse as he spoke, “Oh... these gears aren’t too bad I will have to be a little gentler with my attacks so as to not break them...”

The guards hearing his words revealed a look of fear as they desperately battled the other natives of the allied army.

One golden-haired youth who looked very much like a divine deity with his wisp of flames dancing around his body moved like a lightning bolt through the crowd of guards, causing his flames to scorch their bodies to nothingness leaving behind only their equipment, he then gracefully twirled his body in the air avoiding different energy attacks launched by his enemies that narrowly swept across his form as they strike different places.

  Swoosh-swoosh-swoosh!

As his spinning body landed on the ground, his nearby enemies stabbed towards his vital points with their spears that gleamed in a menacing light leaving behind beams of trailing lights in their charge.
