Hacking the Biker's Code

Rabbit met me in the great room, wrapping a blanket around me. “Oh my god, how did you know I needed a blanket?” I asked, falling against him.

“Baby, you texted me forty-two times that you were freezing.”

I widened my eyes. “I did not.”

  He grinned. “Okay, twice.”

  “That sounds more accurate.”

  “How ya feelin’?”

“Like I always feel after drinking copious amounts of wine.”

“You only drank wine all night?” he asked.

Wine made me happy, lots of wine made me horny. I smiled slowly, licking my lips. “I sure did. Lots of it. Whatya gonna do about it?”

“I’m gonna take you to bed and make you feel even better.”

“I like that idea, honey. Let’s go.”

He grinned, lifting me in his arms and carrying me up to his room. He set me on my feet and pushed open the door, stepping back to let me walk in first.

I couldn’t stop a gasp. “Oh my god, Zane...”

He’d lit my favorite candles, filling the room with the scent of banana bread and casting a romantic glow across the room. It looked like he’d changed the sheets and turned the bed down, placing a couple of chocolates on the pillows. “Are you for real right now?”

He closed the door and wrapped his arms around me from behind. “I take it you approve?”

“So much so...,” I said twisting in his arms and letting the blanket fall to the floor so I had full range of movement, “I’m not wearing panties.”

“When did you take them off?”

“Don’t worry, I took them off in the van on the way home.”

His quiet hiss made me smile and he lifted my skirt, kneeling in front of me and tonguing my clit, before standing again. “We’re gonna take this off but you’re gonna leave your shoes on.”

I nodded and he unzipped the back, sliding my dress off my shoulders. I was completely naked underneath and I bit my lip as he ran his tongue over a nipple.

Moving his mouth to my neck, he pushed my dress over my hips, and I let it fall in a puddle on the ground. “I thought you wanted to fuck me in the dress?”

“I changed my mind,” he said.

I shivered as he slid his hand between my legs and fingered my clit.

“You still cold?” he asked, stroking my pulse with his other hand.

I shook my head, reaching for the waistband of his jeans. “I want you naked.”

He grinned, kneeling before me again. “I’m not ready for that yet.”

His tongue whispered over my clit and I groaned, weaving my fingers into his hair.

  “Spread, baby.”

He held me steady so I could spread my legs, then ran a hand up the inside of my left thigh. “Jesus, you’re beautiful.”

  “Zane?”

  “Yeah, baby?”

“Can we skip the foreplay, please? I really need your dick inside of me.”

  “Yeah, Pebbles. Over the chair?”

“Oh my god, yes,” I hissed, and he rose to his feet.

He chuckled, removing his clothes as I stepped to the chair by the window.

“Assume the position,” he demanded, and I bent over and anchored my hands to the arms.

He gripped my hips and slid slowly into me and I pressed back against him taking him deeper.

“Jesus, baby, this is gonna be quick.”

“You can go slow later,” I rasped, and he slammed into me over and over until he let out a grunt and his dick pulsed inside of me. I’d barely had a chance to get riled up.

Pulling out of me, he kissed the back of my neck, then lifted me and carried me to the bed. Setting me gently on top, he pulled off my shoes, and hovered above me. “How are you feelin’?”

  “Unsatisfied,” I said.

He grinned, leaning down to kiss me. “I’m gonna change that right now.”

Sliding into me, he continued to hover as he kissed me, and I wrapped my legs around his waist and arched against him.

“Harder,” I begged, slipping my hand between our bodies as he buried himself deep. I held onto his shoulder with one hand and fingered my clit with the other as he thrust into me harder and harder, until I could feel a climax building.

Lifting one leg up over his hip, I slapped my pussy and cried out his name as an orgasm washed over me.

His hand replaced mine as he continued to bury himself, working my clit as he thrust. I gripped his arms and held on as he built another orgasm in me, kissing me hard as he slammed into me.

“Now, baby,” I rasped against his lips, and my body released another mind-altering climax. He wasn’t far behind, rolling me to face him as he collapsed on the mattress.

I smiled, stroking his neck as we caught our breath. “Amazing.”

  He chuckled. “You’re drunk.”

  “Doesn’t mean it wasn’t amazing.”

“It was fast, but holy shit, you in nothin’ but a pair of heels does shit to me.”

  I laughed. “Apparently.”

“If I didn’t just put two babies in you, then we’re doin’ it wrong.”

“Pretty sure we’re not doin’ it wrong.”

“Stay put. I’ll get you a towel.”

I licked my lips and closed my eyes. “’K.”

He left me briefly, returning with a warm washcloth to clean me up, then he grabbed me a bottled water, and made me drink the whole thing before climbing back into bed and pulling me close.

  “I love you, Parker McCormick.”

I kissed his chest. “I love you, too, Zane McCormick.”

I fell into oblivion shortly after he blew out the candles.

Little mice with sharp jackhammers were working overtime in my skull, the pain seeping into my dream of Rabbit holding a little girl that looked a lot like me. I groaned, rolling over and reaching for him. All I felt was cold sheet.

“Zane?” I grumbled, forcing open one eye, then the other. He didn’t answer, so I sat up, then fell back against the pillows again.

  My head was on fire.

  Ugh. Too much wine.

I reached for my phone and found a bottled water sitting next to a bottle of ibuprofen. God bless my husband. Taking two pills, I sent him a text, then climbed out of bed and headed to the shower.

“Babe, you okay?” he called a few minutes later.

“Hangover from hell,” I said, peeking out of the shower curtain. “Thanks for the drugs.”

He smiled. “You’re welcome. I’m in the middle of somethin’ with Doom. Do you need me to stick around?”

“No, I’m good,” I said, and closed the shower curtain again. “Did Willow make breakfast?”

“Baby, it’s barely nine. She’s still asleep,” he said. “I’m surprised you ventured out of bed yourself.”

“Jackhammers in my skull,” I said, sulkily. “I couldn’t go back to sleep.”

He smiled, peeking into the shower to kiss me quickly. “You take your time. Come down when you’re done, and we’ll cook together.”

  “Okay, honey.”

He left me and I took a little more time than I normally did in the morning. Stevie was watching the shop, so I actually had the next two days off since I was closed on Sundays. I couldn’t remember a time when I’d had two days off in a row and I couldn’t wait to spend time with the club families tonight, then wake up with Rabbit tomorrow.

I decided to dress in sweats and a long-sleeved T-shirt, then slipped on a pair of Chucks and headed downstairs. My legs connecting with a Tasmanian toddler by the name of Sebastian.

“Baz!” Jasmine called, trying to outrun him.

“Hey Spazzy Bazzy,” I crooned, lifting him in my arms and giving him a squeeze.

“Park!” he squealed and hugged me.

“I’m too old for this shi...I mean, stuff,” Jasmine said, raising an eyebrow toward her son. “You are too fast for Mama.”

I grinned, keeping Sebastian in my arms as we turned toward the kit
chen. “Come hang out with Auntie for a bit. We’ll let Mama have a break.”

“I love you more than my husband right now,” Jasmine breathed out.

“Still not having sex with you,” I retorted.

“You’ll change your mind. Just wait.”

I laughed, which made Sebastian laugh, and I settled him in the highchair set up in the kitchen, handing him a little pile of Cheerios to keep him busy while I made coffee.

“I don’t know who the fuck this person is, or persons,” I hissed.

Doom sighed. “I see that’s burnin’ you up.”

I glared at my mentor, my closest ally, and someone who was more than just a club brother to me. “It should burn you the fuck up, too, brother.”

He nodded. “Yeah, it does, but right now, we’ve got our families close, safe, and protected. Sundance, Hatch, and Doc are monitoring the situation, and you and Booker are digging into the digital black holes that none of us know how to navigate.”

“Jesus, Doom, why the fuck are you so Zen about this?”

“What have I always told you?”

I dragged my hands through my hair. “You tell me a lot of things.”

His mouth twitched. “You need to focus, Rabbit. You lose focus, you make mistakes. Parker’s safe. She’s right here. So what do I tell you?”

I closed my eyes and nodded. “Don’t borrow trouble,” I repeated one of his favorite sayings.

“Right. When you borrow trouble, you spin out, then you can’t focus. Tonight’s a party. Enjoy it. Take a minute to enjoy the fact you found the woman of your dreams and you were both smart enough to make it permanent.”

  I nodded.

“You heard from Jette?” Doom asked.

“Yeah, she texted me this morning. She’s good.”

Jesus, I missed my sister. That was partly why I was spinning, I think. I was having a fuck of a time getting past one particular firewall. If Jette were here, she’d be in in five seconds, flat. But I was gonna have to wait until it was safe for her before I asked for any favors.

“Do you know where she is?” Doom asked.

  “Yes.”

  Doom nodded. “So she’s covered?”

  “Covered and then some.”

“Good.” He settled a hand on my shoulder and squeezed. “You’ve got two women who mean the world to you, brother. They’re safe. Let that sink in for the moment so you can focus on the big picture.”

  “Yeah. Thanks.”

He gave me a quick hug, then we went our separate ways. I headed for the kitchen where I knew Parker was prepping breakfast. Walking into the room, I stopped dead in my tracks and grinned. She was dancing with Sebastian... no, she was dancing for Sebastian who sat in a highchair squealing in delight.

Parker held a knife in her hand and was singing Weird Al’s parody, Like a Surgeon, as she peeled and cut up an apple for Sebastian.

  “Ba-ba,” Baz said.

“Ba-ba?” Parker stopped dancing and leaned down pointing to his sippy cup. “Your sippy cup’s right there.”

  He pointed to me. “Ba-ba.”

“I think he’s sayin’ ‘Rabbit,’ Pebbles,” I said.

“Oh!” she squeaked, spinning to face me. “How long have you been standing there?”

I chuckled, pulling her against me. “Long enough to admire your mad dance skills.”

She looped her arms around my neck. “Baz inspired me.”

I kissed her quickly. “Where are Jazz and Alamo?”

“Alamo’s somewhere with Doc and Jazz is hopefully sleeping. She’s a little frazzled.”

Sebastian banged his sippy cup on the tray. “Ba-ba.”

I leaned down and grinned. “Yeah, buddy?”

  “Up.”

“He could probably do with a diaper change,” Parker said, sliding the tray off. “I’ll do that, and you can start breakfast.”

“Sounds good,” I said, unclipping Sebastian, then lifting him out of the chair. “You go with Auntie and I’ll make eggs.”

  “Eggs.”

“Yep, you can have eggs when I’m done,” I promised.

“Go bye-bye?” he asked, his face scrunching up.

“No, buddy, you’re going to get your diaper changed, then have some eggs.”

  He blinked at me. “Eggs?”

  “Yep. Go with Parker, okay?”

Parker held her hands out and Sebastian pitched toward her. I leaned down and kissed her quickly. “Can’t wait for this.”

She beamed at me. “Me too, honey.”

She walked out of the room and I went about figuring out what to cook with the eggs.

Six hours later, I was in the bathroom of our room at the club, trying to get my hair to behave. It wasn’t working, which meant I’d probably have to pull it up in a ponytail.

“Babe? What the fuck are you doin’?” Rabbit called.

I let out a frustrated groan and he appeared in the doorway of the bathroom. “I’m almost ready,” I lied.

“You look gorgeous. Let’s get downstairs.”

“I can’t get my hair to stop frizzing out,” I complained, pulling it away from my face.

  “Put it up.”

“I was about to before you barged in and started bossing me.”

He grinned. “You want bossy, I’ll show you bossy.”

I rolled my eyes, securing my hair in a high ponytail, then settling my hands on my hips. “Ready.”

  “You look gorgeous, Pebbles.”

I wore a pair of dark blue skinny jeans with knee-high boots, buckled just like Rabbit liked, and a Harley-Davidson T-shirt that I’d cut up just for fun. It gave little peek-a-boos of skin without showing too much.

“Thanks.” I kissed him quickly, then we headed downstairs.

I found myself pulled away from Rabbit and lifted off my feet in a bear hug from Alamo. “You are a lifesaver. My wife slept for two hours today. Thank you.”

“Put her the fuck down,” Rabbit growled.

Ignoring Rabbit, I wrapped my arms around Alamo’s neck and hugged him back with a laugh. “You’re welcome. I love hanging with Baz.”

“Seriously, asshole, put her down,” Rabbit snapped.

Alamo waited a few more seconds before kissing my cheek and lowering me to the ground. Rabbit wrapped an arm possessively around my waist and pulled me against him. I rolled my eyes and Alamo laughed. “Go eat. You’re apparently hangry.”

He walked away and I turned, gripping Rabbit’s cut and staring up at him. “What’s going on with you?”

“Don’t like my woman gettin’ pawed at, is all.”

“Honey, he’s one of our best friends, who happens to be happily married to one of our other best friends. He wasn’t pawing at me.” I frowned. “Why are you so spun up?”

He sighed, stroking my cheek. “Borrowin’ trouble.”

I smiled gently. “Well, stop it. We’re gonna have a good time tonight, got it?”

With a nod, he leaned down and kissed me. “Yeah.”

  “You’re not convincing me.”

The tightness in his expression finally relaxed and he gave me a genuine smile. “Jesus, you’re bossy.”

  I chuckled. “You wish.”

He kissed me again and then took my hand and led me into the party.

Jasmine rushed up to me and grabbed my hand. “Need to borrow her for a minute.”

  “Jesus,” Rabbit hissed out.

  “Two minutes,” she promised.

“You just said one,” he pointed out.

  “Three,” she countered.

Rabbit reluctantly let me go and Jasmine dragged me into the kitchen.

  “What’s going on?” I asked.

“We’re planning a pajama party,” she said. “At Lyric’s.”

Lyric’s home was incredible. It was an historic mansion in downtown Savannah, not far from the park and it had been restored from top to bottom. I
loved hanging out there, although, I didn’t get a whole lot of time to do so.

“I don’t have time for a pajama party, Jazz,” I ground out as we joined the rest of the women.

“Parker seems to think she doesn’t have time for a pajama party,” Jasmine tattled.

“You’ll need to make time,” Lyric said.

“I’ve never been to a pajama party,” I admitted.

“Seriously?” Lyric asked, in abject horror.

“Seriously. Exactly what do you plan to do?”

“Drink Appletinis and watch Titanic, of course,” Lyric said, and Jasmine and Willow burst into uncontrollable laughter.

“I’d rather drink lighter fluid and watch Gator’s colonoscopy video,” I said.

“Pretty sure Gator’s not that up to date on his healthcare,” Willow retorted, as the rest of the ladies made gagging noises.

“Oh my god, I love Appletinis, they taste delicious,” Lyric countered.

I shuddered. “No, they taste like a melted down blow pop used to hide whatever cheap vodka they’re using.”

“Okay, fair. But Titanic’s awesome.” Lyric cocked her head. “What’s your problem with Titanic?”

“I don’t have a problem with Titanic. I have problems. A lot of them.”

Lyric crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow. “Such as?”

“For starters, that car was way too small for an adequate deflowering. He should have fucked her like a lady. In a bed or on the deck looking up at the stars. Then, I wanted to punch Rose in the face when she wouldn’t let Jack on that door. He totally could have fit. She just had to move over an inch.”

Jasmine raised her hand. “As the token curvy woman in the room, there would have totally been enough room, and I would have never let Alamo drown.”

“Exactly,” I said, “But I really lost my shit when that crazy ass bitch chucked that big ass diamond into the ocean. And don’t even get me started with that damned theme song—”

“Okay, okay, we’ll watch the Notebook,” Lyric said with a sigh. “And someone get Miss Crankypants a white wine spritzer.”

The rest of us dissolved into giggles and I pulled Lyric in for a hug. “I love the Notebook.”

She grinned. “Well, you’d be a monster if you didn’t.”
