Joker: Great Wolves M.C. - Ohio Chapter

Joker’s breath hitched as I trailed my fingers over his chest. He was a mass of granite-hard muscle. Ripple after ripple over his pecs and abs. Chiseled perfection. And he was covered in ink. I could barely find an inch of his beautiful flesh that wasn’t adorned with swirling lines. An angel on his shoulder. Serpentine swirls. Toby’s name and date of birth. The howling wolf’s head that branded him as part of the Great Wolves M.C. Each tattoo told the story of this amazing man’s life.

I wanted to be a part of it. I wanted to learn every inch of him and commit it to memory.

  My man. My love.

Joker turned me. With skillful fingers, he undid the intricate clasps on my bustier. It fell to the ground.

I wore nothing now except the white thigh-high stockings. When I bent to slide them down, Joker stopped me.

“No,” he said. “Leave those on. They’re sexy as hell.”

I smiled. Joker slid out of his jeans. He had a tempting trail of curls starting from just below his navel going all the way down. His erection bobbed before me. I wanted to taste it.

His ass though. It looked carved in marble under the blue moonlight. He was dark. Dangerous. I wanted him inside me.

  “I want you,” he said.

  “Yes!”

“Get back on your knees. I like the view.”

I did as I was told. My sex quivered as Joker used his fingers on me. He slid a hand between my thighs and spread me even wider. Then I let out a little scream of pleasure as he flicked me with the tip of his tongue. My knees trembled. I almost dropped to the ground.

“You taste as sweet as a ripe peach, baby. I knew you would.”

“I want to taste you too,” I said. “Please!”

He came around in front. I looked up at him. He stroked his erection, priming himself for me. My mouth watered.

Then, on my hands and knees, I took him in my mouth. He hooked a finger under my chin, guiding me gently. He liked when I looked up at him.

“That’s it,” he said. “Always give me your eyes.”

I did. I gave him so much more. I sucked for all I was worth, loving how full he made me.

I felt him quiver and hitch. He leaned far forward. Then, just before I knew he was about to go, he slid out of my mouth with a pop.

“On your back, Tara. I want to look at you.”

I dutifully complied. Joker spread my knees wide. He dipped a finger inside of me then brought it to his lips.

  “Please,” I begged him.

Finally, he let me have him. Joker positioned himself between my legs. He spread my lips with two fingers, then slid two inside me. Then another. Then he used four fingers inside of me. I bucked and writhed.

  “I’m ready,” I gasped.

“Yeah,” he smiled. “You are. Show me.”

I spread my legs even wider and arched my back. Joker took his time, inspecting me.

“Look at you,” he said. “You’re perfect.”

Then, just when I didn’t think I could wait for him another second, Joker entered me. I cried out with pleasure.

He was so big. He went so deep. Filling me. Owning me. Claiming me.

I wrapped my legs around his waist, drawing him in balls deep. Joker knew just how to work me. He fucked me slowly at first. Then picked up his pace. It was so hard. So good. So raw.

Then, as he felt me crest to the top, he dug his toes into the ground. He let me ride the rest of the way, finding the perfect friction.

“Scream if you want, baby,” he said. “There’s no one here but us.”

  I did. “Joker!”

  Oh. Oh. OH!

“You’re mine,” he whispered against my ear.

  “Yes!”

  “Say it.”

“I’m yours. Oh. Joker. All yours.”

My body exploded in the greatest, deepest, most powerful orgasm of my life. It went on and on in wave after wave. Joker slid his hands under my ass and pulled me onto him even harder.

Then he pinned my arms above my head and took his pleasure too. I kept my legs wrapped around his waist as he found his own perfect rhythm. He felt so strong, so good. So full. Then he too exploded inside of me. Hot. Wet. Thick. I took it all.

As Joker whispered my name through it, I caught his earlobe in my teeth and gently nipped him.

At that moment, I knew something else I wanted more than anything. Like the swirling ink that was part of him, I wanted him to brand me too.

His mark. His name. I wanted to be part of him forever.

Spent, Joker settled beside me. He pulled the blanket around my shoulders as he went up on his hip and smiled down at me.

“That was …” I started to say. But I didn’t know how to finish. I could think of no adequate words.

“I meant what I said,” he whispered, kissing me.

I almost asked him which thing. But as he kissed a trail down my neck and found my breasts, I knew.

I was his. I belonged to him. And after this night, nothing would ever be the same.

I would never stop loving the feel of Tara’s thighs pressed against me as she rode on the back of my bike. She belonged there. She belonged with me. We fucked like wild animals, deep into the night all the way until the sun came up. I think we would have kept going, but we heard the sounds of the golf course coming back to life.

Giggling, Tara found her nearly ruined dress and hiked it back up. The bustier was hopeless. I’d busted half the clasps getting it off of her. Her little thong panties were gone.

Damn. My balls ached as she held me tight. Just knowing she straddled that leather seat pretty much naked from the waist down revved my engine right along with the bike’s.

“I can’t go home,” she said. “I mean ... not looking like this.”

“I need to check in with the club,” I said. “I can find you a change of clothes. As long as you don’t mind wearing another G.W.M.C. top.”

She laughed. “I’ll add it to my collection.”

Late Sunday morning, and the club was quiet. I saw Colt and Brax’s bikes. Brax must have just got back from Florida. No doubt Colt wanted to fill him in on what was going on with Chief Davis. The trick would be keeping Brax from losing his shit over it. He still hadn’t forgiven the bastard for putting his wife Nicole in harm’s way all those years ago.

I couldn’t blame him. Hell, with how I felt about Tara, who knows what I’d do if I thought someone wanted to hurt her. She was becoming part of me. It was a good feeling. But it came with strings too. Strings we’d have to talk about soon.

“You mind if I grab a shower?” she asked. She still carried her shoes in her hand, not wanting to make too much noise on the wood floor as we walked in. Colt’s office door was shut. I heard murmured voices.

I kissed her. Damn, I felt drunk from her. I pinched her ass and pulled her against me.

  “We can take one together.”

She blushed. “Joker. I can barely walk. How can you possibly …”

I smiled. “Saddlesore. That’s the way I like you.”

“Mmm,” she sighed. “Me too. What have you done to me, Joker Smith?”

I showed her to the empty apartment she’d stayed in all those weeks ago after the bachelorette party. I laid out a pair of short shorts and a G.W.M.C. tank top from the office drawer. We issued them to the new waitresses.

“Can’t help you on the underwear,” I said. Damn. I think that’s how I wanted her all the time from now on.

Though it was tempting to join her in that shower, I had a feeling Colt and Brax might want to see me at any moment. Colt would have seen me come in from the security monitor he had set up in his office.

I went down to the bar and pulled the orange juice out of the fridge. I poured two glasses and waited for Tara to come back down.

My stomach growled. Tara had to be starving too. I went to the kitchen to hunt for leftovers. The chefs knew it was common enough for club members to crash here Saturday ni
ghts. Sure enough, I found some pepperoni pizza from last night’s special.

“Breakfast of champions,” I said, pulling a box and walking back into the bar.

Just as I set the food out, Tara came out of the apartment and walked downstairs. She had a towel wrapped around her head.

She was just as beautiful like this as she’d been the night before all made up for the wedding. Actually, I liked her even better now. Especially with my club’s logo stretched across those gorgeous tits of hers.

“Come here,” I said. She did. I wrapped my arms around my girl and grabbed two handfuls of her ass. She squealed and smiled. Then my lips found hers.

If we’d been alone, I knew I wouldn’t have been able to help myself. Damn. I wanted to bend her right over the bar and claim her again and again.

She wanted it too. I could tell. I slid a hand between her legs and even over the shorts, I could feel her heat.

  “Dad?”

My heart froze. Tara gasped and straightened. Her hands went up to catch the towel on her head just before it toppled off.

Amy stood in the doorway holding Toby’s hand. Her eyes widened, then she hid a smile behind her hand.

“Miss Tara?” Toby said. He ran to the bar and climbed on one of the stools. “What are you doing here? Do you like kissing my dad?”

“Er ... uh …” Tara’s face flamed red. She looked at me for desperate help. Toby tore into the pizza box.

“Hey, bud,” I said. “You have a good time at Amy’s?”

“The best.” Amy came forward and smiled. “We were on our way to your place but Toby said he had to pee and couldn’t hold it. You know how that goes. The Den was the closest place to stop.”

Amy was smooth. She looked at Tara with kind eyes.

“Hi there, Miss Tara,” she said. “You remember me from the drop-off line?”

  “Of course,” Tara said.

“Grab a slice, Toby,” Amy said. “Then you can play a video game in back. My treat.”

Toby was a little obsessed with the vintage arcade games we kept in the pool room. He had the highest score on Ms. Pac-Man. Even E.J. couldn’t beat him.

I mouthed a thank-you to Amy. She winked and lifted Toby off his stool.

“I’ll take him home with me,” he said. “Colt should be done with his meeting pretty soon.”

As soon as Amy and Toby were out of sight, I ran my hand hard across my jaw and looked at Tara.

“Shit.” We said it in unison.

  “I’m so sorry. Oh, Joker. I should have ... I didn’t mean.”

“Stop,” I said, sliding my arms around her. “It’s okay. We were going to have to figure out how to handle it sooner or later.”

“But won’t he be confused?” she asked.

“Probably,” he said. “But this isn’t a bad thing. You’re important to me. He already loves you. Plus, he didn’t seem too traumatized.”

She pulled the towel off her head and folded it on the bar.

“Hey, listen,” I said. I rubbed her back. “I’m into you. This is no joke to me. You need to know that.”

Her eyes went wide. She got quiet.

  “Joker ... I don’t.”

I lifted her chin with my fingers, making her meet my eyes.

“This could get messy. I need to know where you’re at. But more than that, you need to know where I am.”

  “Joker …”

Her hair was still wet. Little droplets of water made dark patches on the tank top she wore. She was shivering. I rubbed her arm.

“I’m going to say it,” I said. “You ready for that?”

Her bottom lip quivered. Her nipples turned to hard pebbles under the stretchy black fabric of the shirt. I ached to touch them. I wanted to seal everything I was about to say with a kiss. I wanted to be inside of her. She was already inside of me.

  “I love you,” I said.

She blinked wildly. I couldn’t read her.

“Baby, I’m gonna need you to say something here in a minute. But for now, just keep listening. That boy? Toby is my life. I will kill and die for him when it comes down to it. I started off saying things are going to get messy between us. You need to know why.”

She nodded. I put my hands on her hips. She gasped as I lifted her, seating her on the bar in front of me. It put us nearly eye to eye. I moved, spreading her legs so I could stand between them. She had her hands on my shoulders and her eyelashes were wet with tears that had yet to fall.

“I love you,” I said again. “But I’m not going to put my kid through hell if you’re not ready for all this. It’s not just him. He’s the most important part of it, but there’s the club too. What happened out at the bridge, I think it’s the beginning of something bigger.”

“What do you mean?” she asked.

“The new chief has it out for us. You saw how far he’s willing to go to bring the club down. And you know that shit they found wasn’t mine.”

She nodded. “I already told you that. I called your lawyer and we’re meeting next week. I’ll say it in court when it comes to it. They set you up.”

“Good,” I said. “I know how much it might cost you to stick your neck out for me. But there’s more going on. I don’t know how bad things are going to get before they get better again. And ... if we do this. If you want me as much as I want you, it won’t be easy. But you’ll come into it knowing I was already patched into this club. It’s who I am. There’s no changing it.”

“Joker,” she said. “I don’t want to change you. I would never …”

“It’s easy to say that. Amy? Her pops was club V.P. She’s been around this her whole life. She knows the score. It was harder for Mallory, Kellan’s wife. It’s taken them years to navigate to a steady place. Same with Nicole, Brax’s old lady. This club has touched both of them in ways they didn’t plan for. I said I’d protect you with my life. I will. So, that’s where I stand. It’s up to you now.”

I smoothed a thumb over her cheekbone. I fully intended to leave it at that and take her home. I wanted to give her space to think about everything I said.

She tilted her head and kissed me. She tasted so sweet, I would never tire of it. When we parted, she ran a hand through my hair.

“I think ... Joker, I’m falling in love with you too.”

“You sure about that? Last night was ... well, it was fantastic. But I have to wonder if part of it wasn’t about revenge for you.”

Her eyes went wide. “No. It wasn’t. I swear to God, Joker. I’ve told you before. It was over between Brian and me a long time ago. That’s the thing that kept dawning on me last night even before you got there. I don’t want that life. I never did. Everyone just told me how lucky I was that Brian wanted to marry me. Like he was saving me from something. I saved myself. I love my work. I love the path I’m on and I couldn’t have taken it with him in my life like that. I don’t love him. I never did.”

“Good,” I said. “Then that’s the last time I want to hear you utter Brian fucking Windham’s name.”

She smiled. “That I can promise.”

“I want you,” I said. “All of you.”

There was something in her eyes. It felt like a secret. Maybe I was just paranoid. I’d laid a hell of a lot at her feet. I could almost hear Amy’s voice in my head warning me to take it slow. Give the girl a chance to breathe.

“I want you too, Joker,” she said. “So much I can hardly think straight. I dream about you. I find myself looking out the window at work waiting to catch a glimpse of you. And when I do ... every time you walk into that school, it’s like the world stops spinning. Or maybe it’s that it finally starts. I don’t know. It scares me.”

  “Scares you?” I asked.

“It’s just ... This is new for me. Unfamiliar. It’s so intense.”

I smiled. “Yeah. I think I know what you mean.”

“Woo hoo!” We heard Toby’s shriek from the game room.

“Must have leveled up,” I laughed.
r />   Tara put her hands on my face. She smiled as her eyes sparkled.

“I think you need to have a talk with your son,” she said. “I think you need to figure out a way to tell him that Miss Tara might become a more permanent part of his life.”

I kissed her again and slid her off the bar. She wrapped her legs around my waist and I spun her. I wanted so badly to just march right back up the stairs with her and fuck her senseless all over again.

But it was getting late. I promised Toby we’d spend the day together. And there was still the not-so-small matter of Christy’s ridiculous custody motion. I was going to need to talk to Doug Bailey about how Tara might fit into it all. I dreaded what he might say.

“I want to see you later,” I said. “But club business might keep me tied up for a while.”

I put Tara on her feet. “It’s okay. I’m having dinner with my dad.”

“I want to meet him,” I said.

Tara’s face darkened. “I don’t know if that’s the greatest idea.”

  “Soon,” I said.

  “Soon,” she agreed.

“I hate doing this, but do you mind if I have one of the prospects drive you home? With Toby here now …”

“It’s okay,” she said. “I’ve got it covered.” She slid her phone out of her pocket. “I went ahead and arranged for an Uber. She should be here in fifteen minutes or so.”

I scowled. “From now on you let the club take care of things like that. It’s going to get out soon enough that you’re with me. That might ... well ... with everything going on, there are just times I may ask you to do something and I won’t be able to explain why. Do you think you can deal with that?”

She smiled and kissed me once more. “I think so. But for now, it’s just an Uber.”

Grumbling, I walked her out to the front of the bar. Though I hated to let her go even for a little while, there was no help for it. I had a sticky conversation with Toby ahead of me. Also, Brax and Colt had been in the office a long damn time. It couldn’t be good.

Sure enough, Tara’s car arrived. I checked out the driver and opened the door for her. Tara went up on her toes to kiss me goodbye. Though it tore at my heart to do it even for a little while, I said goodbye.
