“Prove it,” I tell her, a wicked grin spreading across my lips.

“Oh, is that how it’s going to be?” She laughs, returning my grin. “Very well.”

She pulls my shirt over my head before I have time to stop her, and then her hands fly straight to my belt. She unbuckles it with one quick movement, pulls it out from its loops, and then yanks my pants down. I kick my boots off as she frees my erections, my heart hammering away as I stand naked in front of her.

“I’ll give you proof,” she continues and then goes down on her knees before I can even process what the hell is happening. Reaching for me with both her hands, she wraps her fingers around my two cocks, her grip fierce and merciless.

“Fuck,” I groan, my eyes rolling as she starts to stroke me. She does it in a slow and tender manner, fanning the flames of lust inside me. It doesn’t take long before she settles into a frenzied rhythm, her hands flying over the length of my cocks.

  She doesn’t stop there.

Looking up at me, she offers me one of her devilish smiles and leans in. Her lips part, her tongue darts out, and my brain almost explodes as I anticipate what’s going to happen next. Of course, when her lips finally touch one of my cocks, her tongue lapping at the tip, it’s so much better than anything I could have imagined. I shouldn’t be surprised. It’s always like that with her. It doesn’t matter how good I think it’s going to be—she always manages to exceed my expectations.

Opening her mouth, she rolls her lips down my entire length all at once, only stopping once the tip of my cock is pressed against the back of her throat. She holds her position there for a couple of heartbeats, but that doesn’t mean she’s perfectly still. While her mouth is busy with one of my cocks, her right hand keeps stroking the other, her coming and going motion never missing a beat.

Exhaling sharply, I thread my fingers into her and throw my head back. I groan once more, struggling to process all the pleasure coursing through my veins and failing miserably. After all, she keeps raising the stakes. Doing away with her stillness, she starts bobbing her head, ravaging my cock with her lips and tongue in the most delicious of ways.

It takes all I have not to explode right then and there. I hold my breath, grit my teeth, and use whatever willpower I still have left to control myself. That does it, but only momentarily. If she keeps going like this, I’m not going to last long.

  She knows it, too.

Torturing me, she starts going even faster now, and I quickly realize she won’t stop until I’ve surrendered fully. She wants me to go all the way, to explode while my cock is inside her mouth, and I don’t know if I’ll be able to resist it either.

“Don’t fight it,” she tells me, popping my cock out of her mouth. Grinning, she then leans into the other one, her mouth and hand swapping places. She does it over and over again, driving me completely insane, and for a moment I almost follow her advice. Oh, it’d be so fucking good to come while she has her velvety lips wrapped around my cock.

“No,” I finally growl, pushing her back as I try to keep a clear head. “There’s still a lot more that we need to do.”

  “Is that so?”

Picking her up from the floor, I look straight into her eyes.

  “That’s exactly so.”

“Then prove it,” I tell him, repeating his words from before.

Grinning, I take one step forward and close in on him. He meets me halfway, resting both his hands on my hips, and then he pulls me up and into him. He does it easily, as if I don’t weigh a single pound, and his strength makes my heart beat even faster. I react on instinct, throwing my arms over his shoulders while tightening my legs around his waist. Never looking away from me, he takes a couple of steps forward until he has me pinned against the wall, and the air around us becomes electrified.

“Is this proof enough?” Lowering me slightly, he pushes the tip of one of his cocks against my entrance. He parts my inner lips, allowing them to wrap themselves around him, but then he stops. He’s teasing me, torturing me, and it’s working. “Or do you want more?”

“I think I’m gonna need a bit more,” I struggle to push the words out. Anticipation is getting the best of me and, after feeling him throb inside my mouth, I can’t wait to feel the same thing while he’s deep inside me.

“Just a bit?” Lowering me just a couple of inches, his thickness already pushing my inner walls back, he stops once more. It’s frustrating, but at the same time it’s leaving me so damn wet I can’t even think straight. He’s good at this, no doubt about it. “Is that enough?”

“No,” I breathe out, struggling to get the word out. Seriously, does he really expect me to be able to string together a coherent sentence? I can barely think, let alone speak. “I want all of you, Grantian.”

“Good,” he whispers and then pushes his length deep inside me with one single thrust. Throwing my head back, I close my eyes and surrender to pleasure. Despite the thickness of his cock, my inner walls adjust themselves and my nerve endings burn with excitement. Even now, I can’t help but marvel at the mechanics of it all. I mean, I’ve never seen someone so well-endowed, but that has never been a problem. When it comes to the two of us, everything just works.

Yeah, the Kilgari are definitely Mother’s gift to women.

Pressing himself against me, the cock he has inside me already throbbing violently against my inner walls, he traps the other one between our naked bodies. I reach down with one hand and, turning my wrist, and grab it by the root. When Grantian finally starts to thrust, rocking his hips in that delicious manner of his, I match the rhythm of his body with my hand. My strokes are long and fluid and that seems to please him, little groans of ecstasy tumbling out from between his lips.

It’s amazingly weird, I’ll admit it.

I never thought I’d be able to stroke a man while he’s inside me. Then again, I never really imagined I’d find someone with two cocks. Oh, sure, every woman has heard rumors about all the sexy aliens wandering the galaxy, but to go from rumors to experiencing something like this is quite the leap.

Not that I’m complaining. Far from it.

“You have no idea how I felt back at the bar,” Grantian derails my train of thought. Looking straight into my eyes, his expression one of furious lust, he never stops thrusting. “I can’t stomach the thought of you being with another man.”

“That’s never going to happen,” I manage to say, doing my best not to moan those words. Noticing how I’m struggling with coherent speech, he slows down, his thrusts becoming more tender and gentler than before. “You’re the only one I need, Grantian. I’m your jalshagar. Besides, where else would I find someone like you? You make me feel things I can’t even describe.”

“I could say the same of you,” he whispers, and this time his smile isn’t one born out of lust or desire. No, it’s a smile rooted in love. Cupping his face with both my hands, his rugged features under my palms, I kiss his mouth once more.

“Good” I say, and then turn my smile into a grin. “Now shut up and fuck me.”

  “I can do that.”

Thrusting fast and hard, he ravages me with such merciless intensity it feels as if I’m on fire. A thunderstorm of ecstasy is raging inside of me, every cell I have crackling with electric pleasure, and it becomes almost impossible to remain aware of what’s happening. My consciousness folds upon itself, and it’s as if our bodies and souls have blended into one. Right now, I don’t even know if I’d be able to tell someone my name.

“Harder,” I find myself saying, even though I’m not entirely sure I’ll be able to survive it. Grantian isn’t exactly the kind of man who holds back, and to ask him to go even harder...well, it’s a risk, but it’s one I’m more than willing to take. My body demands it. “Harder, please.”

He’s more than eager to oblige.

Holding me up with just one arm, he takes one of his hands and wraps his fingers around my neck. He
tightens them up slightly, just enough for the pain to enhance all the pleasure coursing through me, and that’s when he really starts to thrust. His movements are vicious and impossibly fast, so much I can no longer tell when he’s going in or out of me. I try to keep stroking him at the same rhythm he’s using, but it’s impossible. My wrist starts to protest just a couple of seconds later and I’m forced to ease up before I snap it.

“That’s so…” I trail off, closing my mouth once I realize I don’t have the strength to speak. The way he’s fucking me demands all of my brain’s attention, all of its processing power now devoted to assimilating the raging storm of pleasure Grantian has unleashed upon me. Closing my eyes, I take one deep breath and surrender to it all.

I don’t even have the time to prepare myself for it.

When I explode, I do it without warning.

Gritting my teeth, I exhale sharply as an ocean of tension floods my entire body. That feeling of unbearable tension only lasts half a second, and then all hell breaks loose. My muscles start to twitch and tremble, my inner walls tightening around his cock in a death-grip, and a column of fire shoots up my spine. I scream so loudly it feels as if my vocal cords are going to snap, and that only makes Grantian thrust even harder.

How he does it, I have no idea.

“Lamira,” he breathes, resting his forehead against mine, and that’s the end of the road for him. He tenses up, much like I did, and then I feel his two cocks throbbing in perfect synch. The one in my hand shoots up his seed on an arch, most of it landing between my breasts, and the other unleashes the rest of it inside me, filling me up in such a perfect manner that my entire body quivers with satisfaction.

“Am I alive?” I ask him, my trembling voice nothing but a whisper. “Or is this heaven?”

Smiling, Grantian gives me a gentle kiss.

“I have no idea,” he replies, “and I truly don’t care.”

  “No?”

“No,” he says. “Just as long as I’m with you, nothing else matters.”

  Chapter Twenty-Eight

  Lamira

Tension hangs heavily in the air of the Queen’s cargo hold, draped across our shoulders like an intangible pall.

Any moment now, we’ll touch down on the surface of Consolation. Solace. How ironic, given that it feels like anything but. The crew chosen for first contact consists of Zander, Fiona, Solair, Varia, Grantian, and me. I’d insisted on coming along. After all, I discovered where Solace was in the first place. Not going would’ve felt like I was shirking my responsibility somehow.

Besides, it might not even be dangerous. The initial scans of the moon base, the only structure on the entire surface, had not uncovered any defensive artillery of any kind. They’d also not uncovered any signs of life, but my mate is not convinced of our safety.

“I’d feel better if we knew for certain what we were walking into, Solair.” He checks the magazine on his sleek Kilgari laser rifle. Like most of their artifacts, it’s meant for aesthetic as well as functional purposes. Someone has taken the care to fabricate its barrel into the roaring mouth and serpentine throat of a dragon. Even the little touches, like brass finishings, seem to suggest it was intended to hang on a wall as much as kill someone.

“As far as we can tell, no active sapient life forms are at the base, or even on the surface.”

“I know.” Grantian looks at Solair grimly. “But the saying goes: he who trusts solely in sensors deserves to be eaten by the Odex he didn’t see coming.”

I tug at the shoulder straps holding my class-two hard armor vest in place. It’s heavy and oversized, and standing around with all of these towering Kilgari makes me feel like a child in adult’s clothing. Even the human-sized blaster pistol at my hip feels clunky and awkward. I’m no soldier, not like Varia, but I’m determined to do my part.

The Queen settles onto her landing pylons, and Solair steps to the front of our group. A thin line appears in the hull of the Queen, peeling back to reveal the moon’s landscape to our naked eyes for the first time.

It’s fairly desolate, with a few scraggly trees and hard, rocky soil jutting up in jagged lines from the surface. The moon base looms ahead, a monolithic structure with a sleek design reminiscent of an anvil, where the bottom tapers up to a wider top. There seem to be seven stories, with the top level being capped by a see-through glassteel dome. As far as we can tell, there are no lights, no signs of life at all.

The Queen rests roughly one hundred yards from the apparent entrance, a blue metal rectangle that is the only splash of color on the ivory white surface. Solair flicks a switch on his rifle, and the dragon’s eyes begin to glow.

  “Weapons hot, team.”

We all follow suit, and when my pistol comes to life, I realize it’s the first time I’ve held one with the possible intent to shoot another living creature. I’ve only shot at targets before.

“I’ll take point and make sure the coast is clear. The rest of you follow on my mark.” Solair charges out down the gangplank, followed by Varia.

For a moment he turns his head to the side while they’re running abreast toward the moon base. I can well imagine the look Varia must be giving him. As if she’d let her mate rush off into danger without her.

Their forms dwindle into the size of toys as they cross the gap. Once they’re flush with the wall, flanking opposite edges of the blue door, Solair motions for us to follow.

We surge out of the gangplank and rush across the rocky terrain. I realize if Grantian were not holding back, he would have left me in the dust long ago. The heavy armor and the awkward terrain make for slow progress given my short legs.

But we make it unmolested, and then Solair gestures toward the console panel controlling the entrance, his gaze seeking out Fiona.

“I was going to show off and hack it, but it apparently lacks power.”

She flashes a grin before kneeling down in front of the panel and unsnapping her tool kit.

“That’s not a deal breaker for me. I have a small power cell, which has more than enough juice to get a simple control panel online.”

Fiona uses a handheld electric arc cutter to slice into the metal around the panel and then fishes out a jumble of wires. Her movements are deft, and I notice even the meticulous Zander nod as if impressed at her speed and aplomb.

  “Okay, got it.”

The panel glows into weak life and Fiona convinces the circuits to trigger their opening protocol. As soon as the door slides open, Grantian and Solair move in, their rifles at the ready.

  “It’s dark in here.”

“To be expected, given the loss of power. Be wary.”

We move inside the entrance and discover ourselves to be inside a narrow hallway. There’s a set of secured electric mesh doors at the end of the hallway and a small window on the left-hand side near the terminus.

“This looks like… looks like…” I can’t find the right words.

“Like a prison,” Grantian says, looking around with a grim expression. “I’ve been inside a few—as a guard, mind you—and this has all the trappings.”

Fiona uses her cutter to slice a hole in the inert electric mesh gate and we continue on our way. The first level does indeed look like a place for prisoner processing. One room contains low benches and those green gowns given to patients in the IHC hospital system. Another has a receptionist station with a console.

“Can you get this up and running?”

“Sure, Solair. Just give me a minute.”

Fiona breaks out her kit, works her magic, and gets the console powered up enough to operate. But soon her face contorts into a frustrated scowl.

“Damn. Wiped clean as a whistle.” Fiona sighs. “I can’t get anything from this.”

“Then let’s keep exploring. This is only the first level, after all.”

We discover a ramp, which winds about the exterior wall of the facility, acting as a form of ascension. Since Fiona’s battery can’t hope to power a large lift syste
m, we begin traversing it upward slowly.

The next level resembles a hospital more than a prison, with rooms for patients, a nurse’s station, and a surgery center. The tools of the trade lie about the pristine environs, but there’s not a sign that anyone has used them in some time.

Fiona finds another console, activates it, and once again discovers it’s been wiped. Undaunted—well, Fiona does curse quite a bit—we continue to the next levels. We find more hospital rooms, labs, scanning rooms designed to see inside the body, and plenty of equipment but nothing else.

At last, we reach the top floor, the domed section. Here there’s some light coming in, reflected off the surface of Tartus, which looms like a big blue and white ball in the starry sky. It appears this level is intended to function as a sort of terrarium, with greenery native to Earth, and even a water feature winding its way about the garden.

We discover a small office adjacent to the inert lift and Fiona forces the door open. Once inside, the console appears to be a much more powerful model than those we’ve yet encountered, but it also proves to be wiped clean.

Fiona stops cursing for a moment and opens a panel on the desk the console rests on top of. Her eyes widen, and she takes out a stack of white, flexible rectangles with black spots on them.

“What in the world?” She peers at it. “This is in English.”

“Is that—is that paper?” Solair picks up a sheaf and stares incredulously. “Who would waste time putting information on a medium so fragile rather than using time tested and reliable electronic means?”

Fiona stares at the documents and shakes her head.

“Because you can’t hack a sheet of paper.” Her face contorts in anger. “Damn it, most of this is redacted. Almost every other sentence is blacked out.”

“Let’s take it anyway.” Varia helps to gather the sheets of paper. “These are passenger manifests, and this is the IHC seal. I can’t tell, but it looks like some sort of arrangement is being made.”
