Fallen Daughters: A Dark Romance
Page 23
Moving lower down my body, he cupped my hot-skinned mound in his hands, clearly pleased to find me wet with my legs spread wide. I was always ready for him. I would never have denied him. Never turn him away. I would never truly say no.
Breaking his rule, I reached for him, he was thick and hard, the massive girth of his cock swollen and leaking. Just for me.
“Let me suck on you,” I pleaded. “I want to taste you again.”
Pike granted me my wish and straddled my neck so his cock rested in front of my face. Moving fast, I sucked him deeply into my mouth, running my tongue along the tip, luxuriating in the heady taste of him. I wanted more.
I raked my nails down his chest and pulled him into my throat until he bottomed out, delightfully gagging me with his size. Still, I tried to take more, until I gagged again, and my mouth salivated. My lips spread wide, he was too big. I’d never get enough of him. His smell and taste were drugs working on my system. The heat of his body, the comfort of his solidity, a balm to an existence that had become fraught, rocky, and confusing.
Pike stood at the center of my universe, rigid and impregnable. Constant. Reliable.
“Come for me, Pike,” I mumbled around his hard flesh, anxious for the flavor of his release. He groaned when I palmed his sack, squeezing gently. “Give me your come. I need to taste you.”
He thrust against my throat, his hips working, pushing deeper.
“I need you.” I tried to say it, but it came out muffled. He didn’t care, and neither did I.
His fingers dug into my scalp as he pulled my face tighter against his groin, and speech was impossible, so I just hummed around him.
The pre-cum of his desire coated my tongue, thick, heavy, and sweet. I moaned as the serum’s aphrodisiac worked through my body, setting nerves tingling. I swallowed him down, sucking until he would have no choice but to release fully into the back of my throat, but he resisted.
“No, I want to fill your pussy with my seed.”
Frantically, he lowered himself down and reached for his cock to guide the brutal length of him between my thighs, pressing past my slick folds, claiming me once again. He rose up his hips and slammed back down, pounding into me with everything he had.
One of his hands closed over my breast, fingers strumming my nipple. I groaned as I arched my back, silently begging for more. I wanted him deeper. I wanted to feel his possession so deep that I would truly feel as if we blended as one. I couldn’t get enough of him. It was as if my body was starved and it was Pike who gave me life.
“Deeper,” I moaned.
He groaned out a wordless answer, deep in his throat and my stomach coiled tight at the rasping sound. Flipping us over, he lay on his back and had me straddle him, riding his cock. I bobbed up and down as his eyes watched my tits bounce. I liked having the power to give him pleasure. I could see it in his black eyes. I could feel it coming from his white flesh. I pleased him and that very knowledge brought on a wave of euphoria as a tidal wave came crashing down.
I arched my back as his cock drove deep inside and screamed out his name. Over and over again. Pike. Pike. Pike.
He grabbed me, with a rough hand to the neck, pulling me face down. He sucked at my tongue, swallowing my orgasmic groans. I bit his lip, tasting his blood and bucked my hips, milking the last wave of my release.
I reared up, gasping, reveling in the big cock that slammed deep inside of me with every thrust of his hips. Pike looked wild, the thick muscles of his abdomen and chest rippling, his hair curling white around his ears. I had never seen a more beautiful species. My species.
I dug my fingers into his chest and he groaned again. My thighs burned. I didn’t care. None of it mattered. All that mattered was giving Pike the pleasure I so desperately wanted to give him.
I leaned back, resting my hands on his corded, muscled thighs so I could get a better angle. His eyes burned into me, dark and probing, hard and hot, as if he saw into my soul. Every time he looked at me, I felt our bond grow stronger and stronger. There was no more lifeblood for Pike to give me, and yet I felt the powerful pull all the same.
The orgasm coiled tight within me again, drawing close.
“Pike,” I cried. “Can you feel it? Do you feel the connection? It’s as if the lifeblood is still there.”
He nodded. “Yes, I feel it. I fucking feel it.”
He slipped a hand down to stroke my clit, and I allowed him to throw me over the edge as he thrust his final release into me with a deep growl. I screamed as a flood of light knocked the wind out of me. Wave after wave of heat coursed through my veins as Pike pumped his seed inside of me. His entire body lit up as mine did. Bright, brilliant, light exuded from our bodies, causing both of us to have to shield our eyes from each other’s luminance.
When the shocking radiance dimmed enough that I was able to open my eyes fully, I gasped in surprise. “Pike! Your skin.” He lay beneath me with a soft hue of red flowing beneath his skin. His lifeblood had returned. Somehow, some way, it had returned. The red wasn’t as bright or bold as before, but seemed warmer, softer. Any signs of white had vanished.
He sat us both up and looked at me with surprise. “And your skin. Truth, look at your skin.”
He held my hand up so I could see what he was talking about. Tears welled up in my eyes when I saw the color of a soft orange flowing beneath my once white skin. I exuded light of the setting sun.
“My red, and Cross’s gold—”
“Combined somehow, to make the orange.” I studied my hand and turned it so I could see the pulsing light run along the palm of my hand. “Cross’s lifeblood. But how?”
Pike pulled me into his arms and whispered, “I don’t know. I don’t know.”
“We have our lifeblood back,” I cried against his heated chest.
“We do,” he said as he kissed my head. “Somehow Cross gave it back to us.”
“And Trinity,” I added, which may have been a long shot, but there was a part of me deep inside that felt she had a part in this. That somehow Pike and I making love brought a part of our Lifeblood Twins energy to the surface.
Pike stood and helped me up and gently led me to the galley table. “How do you feel?”
“Really good. Better than ever, in fact.” And it wasn’t because I just had the most powerful sexual experience of my life. “That dark hole that was inside of me when my sister died seems to have gone away. The light flowing through me makes me feel whole again. Like she is right inside of me.”
Pike nodded. “I feel the exact same way. I feel Cross as if he were standing right here in this room.”
“Why? How?” I asked, not sure what the answer was. I had never heard of any old myths of something like this happening in the past. It was believed that once you lost your lifeblood, it was gone forever.
Pike simply shook his head in a silence response.
“So what does this mean now? We have our lifeblood, so we aren’t technically Pallid Slaves. Do we continue to transport like you and Cross did before?”
“No. I still want us to join forces with the Unin soldiers. We may never see the defeat of the Drenken. The war between them and Unin has lasted decades already. But we should try. We should spend the next decade or two, if that is what it takes, going to war and trying to win back our planet.”
I nodded in agreement, looked at Pike’s determined face, and smiled. “It’s what Cross and Trinity would have wanted.”
“Yes. We were born and trained to be soldiers. Not slave transporters.” He reached out and grabbed my hand. “But we will fight side by side. We are not only joined by lifeblood, but we are joined by love.”
I studied the glow coming from Pike and could see an energy of sorts. I could see the gold of Cross very faintly. It was almost like Cross stood all around Pike’s frame. Cross was there. I knew he was. “I can see Cross,” I whispered. “I can see him shining from you.”
Pike nodded with a smile. “I can see Trinity. There is a soft light of pink
blending with your orange. You are the prettiest sunset I have ever seen.”
Tears welled up in my eyes. I could feel Trinity, but the fact that Pike could see her, made it all the more real. “Is this the eternal life the myths have spoken of? The gift that all Lifeblood twins have?” Did Pike and I just stumble on what the Drenken had been destroying our planet to discover?
“Possibly.” He nodded and looked pensive. “Yes. I believe so. Our twins are here. Though they may not be here in the physical form, they are still very much here. Immortal through their light.”
“They live on,” I added.
“They live on.”
“Pike?” I asked tentatively. “Now that the red flows through you again…”
“Do I feel any differently toward you?” he asked with a wicked smile.
I couldn’t help but wonder. I looked down at the ground, worried about what the answer may be.
“No. If anything, I feel even more love. I feel all the love Cross felt for you as well as your sister’s. I can feel their love.”
He stood up and walked toward the control room. “Come on. We have a planet to find and a battle to win.”
Fallen Daughter #5

Yeah…it was fair to say that she hadn’t made the wisest choice by deciding to drive some desolate backwood road in the middle of a rainstorm—at night. Jessa fancied herself a wise woman, full of street smarts, and definitely self-reliant. This, however, would not fall in any of those categories.
The rental car’s windshield wipers barely kept up with clearing the massive amount of water sluicing across the foggy glass. She fiddled with the knob, hoping to speed up the back and forth motion to no avail. It was almost impossible to see the road without even a sliver of moon in the pitch black of the night’s sky.
Where the hell was she? All she could see was a few feet ahead of her of a road that seemed to lead to nowhere. This was a recipe for a perfect horror story. She had no phone signal, her GPS on her phone decided to stop working, the storm raged around her, and she just continued to drive into the woods of nowhere. And if things couldn’t get worse…
In the corner of her eye, she saw something white sprint out onto the road and hit her right tire, or fender, or some part of the car. The slight bump, and then a crunching sound under the tire made it very clear that she had killed something. A rabbit? A raccoon? A deer—no not a deer—she would be dead by now if that was the case. Ugh, what if it is was a dog?
She kept driving. It wasn’t like she had hit the creature. It hit her…right? And besides, the crunching noise under the rental car made it very clear that whatever hit her was definitely road kill. And even if she did pull over, she had no fucking signal to call for help, and she hadn’t seen a car in at least an hour if not longer. Jesus Christ! What the fuck was she doing?
After a few more moments mourning the creature she hadn’t even really seen, Jessa realized she could barely make out the lines in the road. The rain came down harder, and harder, and even harder if that was even possible. Jessa had no choice but to pull over to the side of the road. Driving in these conditions was insane. When the car stopped, she pulled her shaking hands off the wheel and ran them through her hair, taking deep breaths to calm her panicky nerves. Taking a moment to look around, she could barely make out the trees of very thick woods all around. This two-lane road ran smack dab down the middle of the freakin’ forest. And yes, her overactive imagination could almost hear the sound of banjos being played by psychopathic serial killers waiting to chop her up into tiny bits. She couldn’t just wait out this storm in the middle of nowhere. What if there really were killers in the woods? Okay…she knew she had a fanciful mind, but she couldn’t help it. And even though she knew she was just being paranoid, she wasn’t going sit in a car all by herself on the side of the road like a sitting duck. She put her car back in drive and headed out.
An hour later and she finally saw a gas station up ahead. Hallelujah! It only had one pump, and it didn’t look like it even worked, but she had never seen a more lovely sight in her life. Pulling up and jumping out of the car with it still running, she jolted through the cascading rain to the front door.
“Excuse me,” she said, realizing how good it felt to actually say something and hear her own voice. “Do you know what state I’m in?”
Okay, so maybe not the most eloquent way to ask for directions, but it was what came out, so she had to run with it.
She approached the man at the counter so she could get a better look. He had one lazy eye and the other had a cataract. An unfortunate situation indeed.
He said nothing, but just stared…well his one lazy eye stared.
“Sir? Do you know what state I’m in? I don’t have any signal, and my GPS isn’t working. I have no idea where I am.” She was either in West Virginia or Kentucky…or hell. She could definitely be in hell.
“Ummmmmm, no. I don’t live here.”
Was he looking at her?
“Okay…” She wasn’t sure how to respond. “Do you have a map?”
“A map of what?”
“A map of where we are.” Was this conversation really happening? Was she in some crazy twilight zone talking to a half-blind gas station attendant who didn’t know what state he was in? This couldn’t be happening.
“I’m looking for Big Creek, West Virginia. Do you know where that is?”
“Ummmmmm no. I don’t live here.”
“Do you have a phone I could use?”
“Ummm no.”
“No phone?”
He just stared.
“Am I even in West Virginia?”
He continued to just stare.
“Okay, well…thanks.”
She turned around and left as quickly as she entered. Dear lord. Jessa had no choice but to continue on and drive through the typhoon from hell. She couldn’t stay with the cataract man with a lazy eye who didn’t know what state he was in.
Mile after mile she drove. The road seemed to go on with no end in site. On and on she drove in pitch-blackness and torrential rain, praying that a deer didn’t jump out and total her rented crappy, white, mid-size vehicle.
The dim light of civilization up ahead gave her hope. Ah, life of some sort. Hopefully this person had a working eye. As she drove closer, she could see—and she almost shit herself—a Bates Motel. Okay, it was actually a Stop In Motel, but it looked like a spitting image of Hitchcock’s slasher film’s motel. Next to it was a diner called Peg’s. Okay, Peg’s it would be.
Jessa once again hopped out of her still running car and ran through the storm, knowing she looked like a crazed lady drenched to the core. There was a fairly large man, squeezed into clothes far too small for him, at a counter talking to an old lady who seemed to be ringing him up. His belly button showed, his fly was undone, and he was sweating even though it wasn’t hot in the slightest. As Jessa looked around, she noticed there didn’t appear to be anyone else in the diner but the two of them.
“Excuse me. I’m lost. I don’t even know what state I’m in.” Why she felt the need to reveal that fact, she had no idea, but again, she wasn’t really thinking at this point. “Do you know where I am?”
The fairly large man turned, exposing that half of his dinner rested on his shirt. Stains were everywhere. “I don’t live here,” he said.
Oh for fucking Christ sake! Really? Again?
“But this lady can probably help you,” he added, saving Jessa from having a total breakdown.
Jessa turned to the lady, who was still focused on how to work the cash register. Jessa was two seconds from jumping the counter and ringing up the man’s meal herself. The little old lady just tapped a key, paused, tapped a key, paused, and tapped a key again. She never looked up.
“I have no phone signal, and my GPS isn’t working. I’m trying to find Big Creek, West Virginia.”
She tapped a key, paused, tapped a key, paused, tapped a key, paused.
Finally, she handed the ma
n his change and a receipt and turned her attention to Jessa. “Oh, honey,” she started with a rattling voice that sounded like she had smoked ten packs of cigarettes a day her whole life. “You won’t find any signal around here.”
“Do you know where Big Creek is?” Jessa was losing her patience fast.
“Well…” She paused for quite sometime. “You go down this road for another twenty miles or so. Then you will see some railroad tracks. Turn left, and then turn right, and then turn left again. After about a mile or so, you will see an abandoned lumberyard. Just keep going for another mile or so, and then turn left. You should see a sign pointing you in the right direction. And if you hold your phone just right, you may get a signal around the lumberyard.”
Was this woman serious?
“Okay,” Jessa barely answered, feeling defeated. If she just fell to the ground and curled in a ball, would the woman judge her? Would anyone judge her? “Can I use a phone?” Although she had no idea who she would call.
“No, honey. We don’t have any signal in these parts.”
“Land line?”
“No. The owner hasn’t paid the bill.”
What. The. Fuck.
“Okay, thank you,” Jessa said as she turned, trying to remember the directions in her head.
“Oh and, honey,” she called out to her, “watch out for deer. There are hundreds of them, and they like to jump out from nowhere.”
As Jessa walked out the door, hoping not to drown as she ran to her running car, she realized that the fairly large man had disappeared. Oh shit. Was he hiding in her back seat, getting ready to slit her throat? Or worse—was he going to knock her out and take her to the Bates Motel and kill her in the shower? Shit, shit, shit, she silently said as she glanced in the backseat seriously expecting to find the fat man waiting with a knife he used to cut his steak with at dinner ready to stab into another hunk of flesh—this one living. Jessa quickly hopped in her car and locked the door.
Her journey to the pits of hell continued as she drove the dark road, trying to remember the directions and watching for deers to jump out of nowhere. Just as she was reaching the point of pure panic and was positive that she was truly lost, she saw the lumberyard the woman spoke of.
