Forbidden Bliss

“I don’t believe the lady is interested, little boy.” Cash towered over him with his hands folded neatly behind his back.
I stared at him in relief. I think this might have been the first time I had seen Cash standing up close and I was shocked by just how large he was. My small frame was dwarfed by his and his hands were twice the size of mine.
The frat boy stumbled to his feet with his hands clenched into fists and backed up until he was standing with his buddies.
“Get out of here, man. This doesn’t concern you.” He tried to sound tough but even I could see the way he was trembling.
“Oh, I think it does,” Cash replied mildly. “You and your little friends get in your car and get the fuck out of here.”
Frat boy glanced at his friends. They nodded and he grinned at Cash. “There’s four of us and only one of you. You’re outnumbered, asshole.”
Cash didn’t reply. I was standing frozen against the wall, my heart beating too fast in my chest and my mouth tasting like frat boy and cigarettes.
“You know what they say, don’t you?” Frat boy sneered. “The bigger they are, the harder they fall.”
“Why don’t you stop running your mouth and bring it then, little boy,” Cash said quietly.
The frat boys ran forward, and I watched flabbergasted as Cash kicked the shit out of them.

“You okay?” Cash’s deep voice washed over me, and I looked away from where the frat boys were lying in a crumpled heap on the cold pavement.
“I – uh, thank you?” I whispered, staring up at him. He wasn’t even breathing hard as he zipped up his leather jacket against the cold.
“No problem.” He held his hand out to me. “Let’s get out of here.”
I hesitated. “My stuff is in the bar. My coat and my apartment keys.”
“You won’t need them tonight. Let’s go, Del.”
I was reaching for his hand before my name had even left his mouth. He led me past the moaning frat boys and toward his motorcycle. He swung his leg over it. The line of his thigh in his tight jeans made my mouth water as he beckoned to me.
“Climb on.”
I nodded but before I could climb on behind him, he held out his hand. “Wait.” He took his jacket off and bundled me into it. I was grateful for its warmth. My t-shirt was thin, and the air was cold.
“You’re going to freeze to death,” I said.
He shrugged. “I’ll be fine.”
He patted the seat behind him, and I hiked up my short skirt until it was just below my ass and swung into the seat. I pushed forward, my crotch jammed firmly against him and my hands linked tightly around his waist. He started the motorcycle and I jumped at the loud roar.
“Ready?” He shouted over the engine.
“Yes!” I shouted back. He lifted the kickstand, the motorcycle swayed, and I squeezed my arms around him as he tore off down the street.
